Come one, come all and join our rollicking new thread with slightly updated brand new rules

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

for the first few cycles post mc I had nausea and sore boobs in the lead up to AF, which i'd never had before. It was very annoying as I was convinced that i was pg each time. That seems to have passed now so i put it down to screwy hormones. Same could be true for you?

wrt when you ovulate - it's hard to say without doing some kind of testing. you could have a long luteal phase. you could try ov sticks or temping or monitor cm or all three for a month or two and see what they say.

triple if FF thinks that you ovulated when you had the pos ov sticks then it must be able to see a temp shift. maybe believe it?

Hi triple I haven't POAS yet, trying to hold on until tomorrow as I don't want to be too hopeful. I think it's still possible AF could just be taking her sweet time to confuse me.

Haha aly I don't want to trust FF because that means I missed my fertile window!! I normally ov around cd16 so this time it would have been at least 2 days early.

Good luck to poasers. Nerdy did start acupuncture recently? I you get a bfp then I am booking an appointment ASAP!!

Oh nerdy. Could you have ov'd later? If it is you just starting accupuncture it can change your cycles slightly. I'm still sticking by the it's not over til the blood flows... she says having spent most of the day so far googling people who have their period but still pregnant

OK, I officially have NFI WTF is going on with my body. 17dpo, CD29, and it's Friday so I poas - a FRER one, as that's the only one I've got left apart from a 2-pack of the pricy CB digis which I'm not touching until I get a bfp on something cheaper first. Half an hour after doing the FRER test it's still a very definite bfn - not even a ghost of a line. And yet still no sign of AF, despite some hellacious cramping and backache last night.

I don't get it. I didn't ov late - I always ov around CD 10-12, and I definitely did this month - on CD12. Maybe I'm having a very long luteal phase, but if I were pregnant I would have expected it to have implanted by now and be showing up on hpks. So I have no idea what's going on. Got some ICs due to arrive in the post later today, so I'll try with one of those in case there was something up with the FRER one if AF hasn't started by then.

ark what a head fuck. I had awful cramping on the tues night - so bad I couldn't sleep - and then started spotting late on wed night. Unusual for me as I norm get the cramps a couple of hours before it starts. I thought it was implantation as felt very different but turns out no.

I hope with you it's just taking some time to get those hcg levels up... Fx

I'm not due AF until next Thursday so no poas for me yet. Think it's unlikely to bfp for me this month though as I'm already getting pms signs. Also I started temping for the first time this month and my temps are all over the place. FF has twice told me I've ovulated and then changed it's mind so so far I'm not showing that I've ovulated (now on day 23) when I got positive opk on cd 12. Grr I have no idea what my body is up to!!!!

suzy that is frustrating. are you taking your temp at roughly the same time each day?

arkady that is really bizarre. I used an IC this morning and was wondering if I should get a FR but perhaps not.

fedup i suppose i could have ov later. The acupuncture has been targetted at helping me to ov as I don't think i was. and I did have what could have been EWCM for a few days longer than I'd expect. I got a positive ov test mid week so i guess i could have ov that weekend. Which means AF might not be due until tomorrow or after.

I tried temping this month. At first FF thought I'd ov at CD9! Far too early for my length of cycle. Then later it changed it's mind. Them my thermometer broke the day after I got a positive OPK so wasn't able to do it for a couple of weeks.
I think on the first month there isn't much to go on so it's more likely to be a bit out. Hopefully it will settle down.

I've got a new thermometer so I've been doing it again so i have the data there is AF shows up.

Cramps... backache... marvellous. I'm right there with you ladies. x

Trying to just carry on as normal. Thinking that if ov and AF are later than usual this cycle that I still would have got BFP if I was pregnant, because it would be due in next couple of days. To that end I had peanut butter on toast for breakfast. We're going to friends for dinner tomorrow which might be a bit boozy, will probably drink if still BFN tomorrow (can't wait till next friday!).

Trying to resist going and getting a more expensive test at lunchtime...

This weekend I will mostly be found drowning my sorrows in a bottle of wine and eating rubbish! Dh is away too so plenty of time to obsess around not being pregnant!

Well I just checked and see the NHS have changed their advice. It used to be they advised against it for links to allergies. But now they think it's ok.

I love peanut butter so that's good!

Cheered myself up by managing to fix an antique wooden flute with a Marigold washing-up glove. It plays beautifully now! I have NFI what my body is doing but at least I can take comfort in knowing I can fix an antique flute with a rubber glove.

Alyant I've been religiously taking my temp every morning at 6am but I've ordered a new bbt thermometer as mine only goes to one decimal place and is old and must be wrong (grasping at straws now!).

Rubbish about the Bfns, but it ain't over yet ladies.

Think yesterday was our last shot for this month. Going to dtd tomorrow JIC, and then on to the Wait. Starting back at my old job on Monday and looking forward to holiday next week, so hopefully will be able to keep my mind off it. Oh, and being sued by our arsing crackpot fraudulent kitchen maker, so that'll help too!

Does anyone know when to expect ovulation after early mc (6 weeks ish).
