Well think I discovered why I never got a temp rise after my positive opk that's cos my body never actually did the ovulating bit. Just got a positive opk today after suspecting as much from CM. FX this time it results in a temp rise. Pls pls. Has anyone had this happen to them before?

Hey science... Are you saying you've now had 2 positive OPKs this cycle but at different points in the cycle?
One earlier and you never got a temp rise and another one now?
What OPKs do you use? Digis?

science I don't know if it's the same thing but I had two patches of ewcm this month...

Yes that's what I mean gilly got a positive opk about a week ago and zero temp rise. Then got some fertile CM just now so thought I'd try testing and what do you know another positive opk ( definitely went to negative in between as I kept testing last week until second line went faint again). Had googled that if you don't properly OV then your body can sometimes try again. Maybe that's what's going on

Hi i'm new on this thread but yep it def looks like a line all be it faint - keep trying daily.

Can i join your bus? TTC 1 cycle 1 hopefully going to poas at the end of the month. First month off of pill so estimating AF would be somewhere 28th to 30th. Been dtd almost daily so fingers crossed.

Holy crap if I'm this excited for you Gilly there is potential that I will actually burst upon seeing my own line and not get the chance to tell anyone.

Science I think some times you can get a positive OPK and then for some reason your body doesn't ovulate...

This can be due to sickness/stress/whatever...

I guess that's the good thing about temping - you can see for sure if you have actually ovulated or not.

Luckily you saw the EWCM and tested again so get shagging
