Sorry to keep people hanging but I'm having a hectic weekend!
Got my pregnant sister, her husband, their 13 year old daughter and 2 year old son staying with us!
We have 2 cats so its a military operation keeping our cats away from their dog! MENTAL!

Spent the day in mothercare and kiddicare today as my sister wanted to look around at double pushchairs for when their baby comes....

Making me want to get a bfp even more.

I know I saw faint lines and I know you all saw them too but when I tested this morning there was absolutely no line at all and yesterday there was a very faint line (even fainter than the previous ones)...

Not sure what's going on but I don't want to do a digi because I'm just so sure it will say "not pregnant" and I don't want to see those words!

I'm actually more prepared for AF to arrive than see those words infront of me to be honest!

I'll be suspicious if AF hasn't arrived by Tuesday and will do a digi then.
But I REALLY think AF is coming. Feel crampy and generally MEEEHHH.

What about the other Clear Blue ones - the one where the blue cross appears in the window if you're pregnant?? I used them to get my BFP!!

It was only when I 100% knew I was pregnant that I tested with a CB digi because I just needed to see the words!! They are ridiculously over priced and I don't think any woman should have to pay that much to see the horrible words 'not pregnant' flash on the screen

Not seeing a blue cross probably isn't as heart breaking as seeing the dreaded 'not pregnant' ??

Even though we all think you would see the cross!!!

FWIW - on the day I got my BFP I had 6 positive results on a variety of tests but when I texted twice the next morning with FMU both tests were negative?!?! I was very confused!! It was explained to me though that in such early pregnancy a variety of things can affect the concentration of the hormone etc and that varying results can be common.

Just because there wasn't a line this morning doesn't mean you aren't...

Congratulations to the new bfp's!! Hopefully there are loads more to come!!! I am going to try and hold out until Friday if u can, I think I will be due AF Wednesday/thursday as I stopped pill late July and had a two day bleed from the 2nd.

wispa and daisy I'm also trying to see if I make it til Wednesday when af is due to test. Was secretly pretty hopeful this month as I felt like we dtd a fair amount around the right time (I know that's absolutely no guarantee of anything but it does make you feel hopeful when you know you've made a good effort at it!), but I'm getting that familiar low achy feeling I get in the run up to af so am no longer feeling like this is our month at all. I'll be 10-11 dpo on wed which is normal lp for me. Been taking b6 this month too so if af does come it'll be interesting to see whether its made any difference to pre period spotting or lengthening lp at all.

Anyway, sorry for banging on about myself, I just think this will be the first month I'll be properly disappointed if it doesn't happen, and I don't want to whinge on to dh about it as I know it's still early days in the big scheme of things and I want to stay positive about it all, so I thought I'd get it off my chest here instead!

But you know...in the name of managing expectations, it could be that sperm met egg but it never really got going. That might explain v.faint lines that don't get stronger. Chem preg. Not to be a big downer, but just don't want you overly disappointed.

In gillys case that is, not all the confirmed BFPs sorry!

I've absolutely no will power at all! Tested this afternoon at 6dpo. I just like the suspense I think lol. Obviously a negative. We didn't dtd with any kind of gusto until after my fertile window had passed (I think) and we had stopped temping and opking and all the other bumpf.

I'm not expecting a bfp this month and I'm okay with that but it hasn't stopped me symptom spotting and poas! We have lost two pregnancies in the last 8 cycles, albeit very early on, and I have decided that after this cycle we are going to wind it down as it does place a strain. I suggested stopping trying altogether but DP is keen to continue. Sometimes it feels as though your life is on hold waiting for a positive and dreaming about the potential new life you want to bring into the world.

I'm still excited for it and it hasn't stopped us doing anything we want (except neither of us have been drinking whilst ttc) plus we are very fortunate to have three other dc to enjoy. Going away (first time long haul-eek) on testing day so will testing every day up until then with ic then cracking open the frer if no af. I'll be damned if I'm doing all holiday sober. I'll be entering fertile times whilst away so considering taking contraception? Wwyd?
