The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

6 fertilised eggs? That sounds fantastic! Like merk asks- have you decided how many to put back?

SidneyBristow · 15/08/2013 11:09

Haycorn! Another one on Team Diffed! Berries are on a winning streak! Big congrats to you!!

Pip that's fab news, sounds like you have 6 very good reasons to be super optimistic!! Fx for you!

Running out the door to the lab to have my AMH blood draw done now. Am bricking it; already have an upset stomach from anxiety over the whole thing. I do not know what's wrong with me. Yesterday walking down the street I started crying randomly and today I feel teary as well, which is going to make walking around central London an interesting prospect. I'm CD21 here today, so 5-6 DPO, and yesterday stupidly PIMPed on an OPK. Very faint line, so was stupidly excited about it (clutching at straws here to keep this 2ww moving as fast as possible) and wanted to show DP with the caveat that it probably meant nothing but that I was choosing to think we might be in the game, and he didn't want to look at it, saying I was not to get his hopes up bc every month he sees me get depressed and has to deal with that while he's suffering too. Obv I understand; we just deal with things a little differently, and later he came to me and apologized and wanted to see it but I said I didn't really want to talk about it anymore since he was probably right. Then read later that there's always a small amount of LH in the system anyway, so presumably my v faint line could've been had at any time during a cycle, and meant nothing at all.

When do you all started testing? We're away with family the day I'm supposed to POAS next week, so I need to do it as early as poss to get as much upset out of my system as I can, before having to face a houseful of kiddies and expectant in-laws. Alternately I'd like a few days to celebrate in private with DH if we get happy news. So...?

Sorry to be me me me; I feel a little lost at the moment.

Tallyra · 15/08/2013 11:19

oh pip, that's brilliant, 6 fertilised!! you'll be there with us soon!
from what I remember, at the moment it's merkin, thunder, boom, me and now barking and haycorn. plus whoever was diffed a few mints ago - was that motherofcleo? and others?

Tallyra · 15/08/2013 11:21

Sid, I'd probably pump before I went if I were you. but I'd recommend to leave it until after if you can manage it. That's if you feel you can cope better not knowing rather than the possible depression making it harder. does that make sense? of course, a positive would improve the weekend a hundredfold though.

Tallyra · 15/08/2013 11:23

hahaha, my spelling sucks on this phone! months, and pimp....

rumisyum · 15/08/2013 11:31

Whoa, I missed a lot with my cross post this morning - congratulations haycorn!

My word, whatever's in the water around here is hopefully catching.

Pip 6 fertilised is brilliant! Fingers crossed for their onward development...

Sid, I'm probably pimp before, so as not to be caught out by my period in the midst of said trip. Tricky decision, though.

SidneyBristow · 15/08/2013 11:59

Oh I'll definitely be pimping before; no way could I soldier through a surprise AF attack while in the midst of DF's fertile family. Get togethers are hard enough as it is, without adding that sort of pressure. Usually I need 1-2 days to pull myself together, so if I PIMPed next Weds, would that give me a reliable result, ahead of leaving for our trip on Fri? Ideally I'd like to test as soon as possible.

CatsCantFlyFast · 15/08/2013 12:12

Sid I'd expect you'd be getting a feint positive around 10dpo (caveat with all the risks of identifying a CP if it happened). Fx for you.
And on the OPK, I have done many an experiment with OPKs throughout my cycle and only ever get a line on an OPK post O if diffed. Just sayin

SidneyBristow · 15/08/2013 12:16

God merk you know just what to say to a girl to cheer her up, don't you? But surely 5-6dpo is much too soon for any sort of meaningful line, if you say a 10dpo line would give a faint one?

Really wish I could just knock myself out and wake up when it's time to test; not sure I'm built for this kind of ongoing agita for months on end Confused

IamKuma · 15/08/2013 12:38

sid I'm hopeful for you. I formed an OPK addiction prior to my last AF when boom was testing. boom kept getting lines and I didn't; boom got a bfp, I didn't. Based on this extensive scientific evidence it sounds, like we could come to a positive conclusion Grin.

pip, great news about your eggs. Berry HQ seems like a good place to be at the moment!

barkingtreefrog · 15/08/2013 12:44

sid this is the only cycle for ages where I didn't know when I'd Ov'd, so I don't know when I pimped either, but I only did so after that stupid spotting went on without turning into AF and I calculated that if I ov'd the soonest possible day after I stoppped temping I would be 14dpo. I might not have been though, which is why I'm terrified this is going to be a chemical and the line will vanish by this morning if not next week.

Merk I'm wide awake again and it's 4.30am, didn't get to sleep until almost 1am. I haven't had insomnia for about 4 years (and there was a stressful explanaion for it that time). I've also felt sick in the morning for the last 3 days but not been sick. I'd written this off as hunger/windy roads in the car but could it be a symptom? I thought you only got morning sickness not morning nausea? I would feel so much better if I though these could be symptoms, got to wait at least another 3 hours before pimping or I'll wake up DP.

I may well resort to buying another digi test over here despite having one ok a box full at home. I know they're not as sensitive so I might believe it a bit more?

sparechange there will be no christenings for any berrylet of mine, but there are other berry weddings you could wear your hat to Grin .

Pipbin · 15/08/2013 13:13

Sid I hate to piss on your chips but I used to find that after OV I would get a faint line on an OPK right up to AF.
To use an OPK as an HPT the resulting line has to be as strong as the control line, like when you use it to test of OV. It's not like an HPT where a line is a line.

Barking the rule is that if you can convince a digi then its certain.

It feels very odd knowing that in a lab there are 6 embryonic Pipbins, even though I know they are just a bunch of cells.

MotherOfCleo · 15/08/2013 13:15

Hey ladies, just popped in to say congrats to all the newly diffed!! So exciting to have so many of you getting positive pee sticks. FX for lots of sticky beans! Also lots of luck to anyone in the 2ww!

MotherOfCleo · 15/08/2013 13:20

Oh and barking my advice for what its worth is to leave it 3 days between tests, I know it seems like forever but I had convinced myself that mine was a CP by testing every day and hoping for a darker line. Hormone levels can rise erratically so the line can actually be fainter rather than darker some days just to mess with your mind

Get a couple of cheap packs from asda or something (2 for a quid) and test a few days apart, then you can actually see the line getting darker, mine took well over a week to get as dark as the control line. Have everything crossed for you!

barkingtreefrog · 15/08/2013 13:37

Still awake, tried sleep app but it didn't work and now battery is almost dead and charger is in the car!!!

Thanks cleo. I will of course ignore your very sensible advice and pimp anyway, partly just because any line would give me some reassurance and partly because we're in a motel (was supposed to be camping with no facilities but we were both feeling crap yesterday evening so we treated ourselves) and we're back in a tent tonight, so pimping will be so much easier today!!! Back near a normal toilet in 3 days time so will save my last stick for then and probably buy a digi as well to try after that but I may well cave sooner.
When you've been trying for something for 20 months, why is it so difficult to believe when it happens?

Tallyra · 15/08/2013 13:42

I agree with mother, although I've never managed to leave a day in between. However, having taken so many tests myself and NEVER had a duff one, I would trust it if you get another line tomorrow. This time round, I did one test then immediately got another one out because in my extensive experience it wasn't looking like it was doing it right, the seeping dye looked wrong. So I did it again, then just to be certain I did it again. The first one had a ridiculously faint line, and the other 2 were much stronger... So even if it's not a duff strip, it can look different.....

And Sid, remember, my boobs were sore from about 6dpo (approx, I haven't been keeping track of ov).

MotherOfCleo · 15/08/2013 13:59

haha barking thought you would Wink. Just try not to drive yourself nuts. I was certain it was getting lighter even though it wasn't. FX!

CatsCantFlyFast · 15/08/2013 14:28

Sid my OPKs went +Ive for O, negative again for 4 to 6 days, then a few days of feint lines then neg again, then would gradually appear again after my bfp
Re morning sickness - ignore the name. It's technical term is nausea and vomiting in pregnancy as it can be both nausea and/or physical sickness at any (or all) time of day or night

SidneyBristow · 15/08/2013 14:48

Pip it's ok, I'm going to think of that like as nothing concrete, but it did encourage me somewhat as it was darker than some lines I've gotten in the lead-up to Ov day. Still nothing's certain til late next week so will do my best to stop symptom spotting (out loud, anyway). Am heading to AMH blood draw now. Can't believe it's come to this but v grateful there are options out there for help.

Tallyra · 15/08/2013 14:49

Oh yes, 'morning sickness'. That incredibly incorrectly named affliction. You can get it any time of the day at any kind of severity. How are you Merkin? I hope yours isn't too bad.

CatsCantFlyFast · 15/08/2013 14:53

Sid good luck for the blood draw. Is this the private clinic? You're certain to be diffed now you've started the ball rolling!

barkingtreefrog · 15/08/2013 15:16

Okay, so I was warned but pimped anyway. I can see a line I think but only if I really try. Yesterday was definitely a line, although not a strong one. Today is cd33 and I would usually have AF by now, although not always. I've had 4 days of spotting which I've never experienced before without AF attached, and for the past two days I've had 'normal' cm again when furtling, no sign of more spotting or any AF. I've had insomnia and nausea for the last three nights/ mornings. I'm trying to convince myself it is happening but have DP's voice ringing in my ear saying 'don't get your hopes up'.
Grr.
I'm going to have to go for the digi purchase I think, I don't know why but I think the black and white 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant' is more believable somehow. Scared stiff of it being the latter though. I'd like to stay with the chances that I could be rather than it be proved I'm not. Hmm. After 20 cycles of knowing I wasn't, I think I prefer the possibility that I might be.

sid hang in there on the wait, and hope the blood test makes you feel like you're 'doing something'. Even though it was another 5 months before I started the Clomid, just attending the FC made me feel like we were moving forward.

barkingtreefrog · 15/08/2013 15:48

And now I've just had an email from the wedding venue saying that someone else had already taken a booking for the (second choice) date we wanted it just hadn't been in the system when she checked. Boo. And we're checking out within the hour so I'm not going to be able to keep obsessing up the email conversation with her about other dates, but I need to keep the ceremony venue in the loop as well. It was all going far too bloody well wasn't it?! Given the speed dates are being booked I don't want to just chill out and leave it until we get home!

Bunnygirlie · 15/08/2013 18:25

Crikey far too much to catch up on especially as I have a friend round in a min.

Congrats to barking and haycorn, that is on very full berry-copter Wink. 6 BFPs in 6 weeks WOW!

thunder it was 2 full days of red so it can't really be anything other than AF really.

Been in a right foul mood today, thinking I'll be the last berry standing, might need wanging!
