thank you all for the good wishers, just goes to show, been told not ovulating, this month we was giving up, only had sex when we wanted too, (didnt even mark them down, like i usally do, but i had lots of stawberries.

wannbe i know you new who i was

trace2 · 11/07/2006 11:22

phoned gp go next monday

wannaBe1974 · 11/07/2006 11:41

well am still bleeding slightly so my af must definitely be on its way. Ve early this month - haven't had a short cycle since I came off the pill so who knows what the hell my body is playing at. Me and dh were talking last night and he said it's not really even surprising/upsetting any more when af arrives. He's right. I expect af now don't even wonder any more if I might be pg because I know deep down that I won't be. I think the initial starting out ttc is so exciting, every month there's the anticipation of will I won't I, and the longer it takes, the less that anticipation is, and the 2ww turns more into a waiting game for af not a waiting game to see if af doesn't arrive. I think that although I'm not on any contraception, we're resigned to the fact that there isn't going to be another baby, to the extent that we've talked about selling ds' old clothes/toys/baby furniture on ebay if we move (have been talking of moving in next year).

Not bitter/upset really just putting pen to paper I guess . Dh going to take sample to the hospital on thursday morning before work now. maybe that'll give us an answer, although I'm hoping it won't as I don't want dh to be the problem because I never want him to feel it's his fault.

whippie · 11/07/2006 12:04

please i don't know how this works cos new but did cheap pregnancy test this morning and faint line and did another one straight after(strained to wee)and even fainter line. am i preg???????????

whippie · 11/07/2006 12:06

sorry for being insensitive

Sexonlegs · 11/07/2006 13:32

Hi Wannabe, and I am sorry you are feeling so low. It can become a bit of a thankless "task" after a while can't it. Everything is focused on that one thing. I don't know how long you have been ttc - we have only been going for a few months - but it does seem like an eternity doesn't it.
Thinking of you, and keeping fingers crossed that it will all come good. xx

bobblehead · 11/07/2006 13:45

Trace2 CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!

I suspected it was you yesterday and I am soooo happy for you. Hope its your turn next Wannabe...
Wouldn't it be great if everyone graduated from one thread!

Thanks for birthday wishes SOL.Same for you tomorrow if I miss you (is is tomorrow isn't it?). I know what we'll be wishing for as we blow out the candles!

Sexonlegs · 11/07/2006 13:53

Hey Bobblehead, yes it is tomorrow, so thank you for your birthday wishes.
How are you? What stage are you at then? I seem to remember it may be ov time, as you were going to ask for lots of sex from your dp/dh as a bday present!

trace2 · 11/07/2006 14:25

wanbe, please dont say that, it just reminds me of me and dh, and look now, it will be your turn soon, and it could still be inplantation<

thank you for all the good wishers just dont feel real

bobblehead · 11/07/2006 14:28

Yes! I think I should ov tomorrow, but cm doesn't seem to be getting very ew yet and I can't remember what it was like at this stage last month (sorry for tmi!). I made him bd last night and he's having a night off tonight as I'm out, then tomorrow night. Sadly I actually said I was busy Wed night whenasked to go out as I knew we wouldn't get a chance then! It means I'm leaving dh babysitting tonight instead of spending my b'day with him, but needs must. He already says he's feeling the pressure of performing so I really hope it happens soon.

What are your plans? Have you ov yet? (can you imagine randomly asking anyone that in RL after asking what they're doing for their birthday!)

bobblehead · 11/07/2006 14:30

Trace are srawberries meant to help when ttc?

Sexonlegs · 11/07/2006 14:40

Bobblehead, pmsl at making dh bd! I have this image of him being up against a wall and you pointing a shotgun at him! Oh God, reading back that it sounds awful, but you know what I mean!
I have ov'd already - just a few days ago, so now have to see what happens on the 20th (af due)
Not sure what I am doing for bday. I have a sneaky suspicion that my dh has asked my parents to have our dd overnight though - bless him!
By the looks of it though, may be spending the night eating strawberries!

Piffle · 11/07/2006 14:44

I had cravings for strawbs when pg with ds
Wanabe sorry you're feeling so defeated about ttc, I have many days like that every month, whats the point, its not going to work anyway.
I do take a month off it every now and then to try and put it into perspective.
Trace am still so and so for you

trace2 · 11/07/2006 14:46

strawberries! , are suposed to help fetise the egg

trace2 · 11/07/2006 14:47

fertilise even

bobblehead · 11/07/2006 15:16

SOL it may come to that netx month

Piffle · 11/07/2006 15:23

wwould be amazing to get a bfp along with trace, I think we both been ttc forever
We've temped charted inspected and prayed must have tried everything us two

trace2 · 11/07/2006 15:26

Piffle , are you still temping, did i read the other day you had a big rise?? i hope you join me too, only know hopecat on march thread,

Piffle · 11/07/2006 15:37

umm am 7dpo 5 days of 97.9 (coverline 97.7) then 2 days ago had rise to 98.2 and again same today
am hoping its triphasic
have got shedloads of ebay tests too
nothing to report LOL

wannaBe1974 · 11/07/2006 15:38

yay hope you get your bfp too piffle. think it would be extra cool if some of the longest ttc'ers were on the same antinatal thread

Piffle · 11/07/2006 15:44

thanks wannabe
For me the + test is just the bloody start of the worry
first of all had 3 chemical pregs, 2 miscarriages at 6 weeks and one at 9 weeks, plus also had an ectopic which nearly saw me off.
So that all ok, just the minor issue of dd's rare genetic syndrome not happening again (highly likely geneticists say)
Hmmmmm plus the hyperemesis I had with dd
Jolly jolly
I must be insane even considering it

Piffle · 11/07/2006 15:44

highly unlikely re dds syndrome happening again I meant...

Piffle · 11/07/2006 15:45

trace do you keep a chart of FF?
Wanna share?

trace2 · 11/07/2006 15:47

Piffle , i was got my normal rise on day 13, then 3 days ago it went up, i thought i had a temp(coming down with something, i was only 9dpos when it went from 36.6 to 36.9, them two days at 37.0.

wannaBe1974 i really want you too with me, like i said i feel happy for me but sad for you two as i know how long you have both been trying! and i know how it hurts too

trace2 · 11/07/2006 15:49

Piffle , i used to but stopped as i was stopping ttc, but i have a chart at home do you want me to put up, from day 13?
