bobblehead · 30/06/2006 18:25

Thats the one Becky!

bobblehead · 30/06/2006 18:25

Sorry, Beccy not Becky!

Sexonlegs · 30/06/2006 18:35

I am already on the vino collapso - dreadful behaviour!
Hey ho. I figure you can't keep off the stuff forever while ttc.
Can't wait for BB either - how exciting!!

bobblehead · 30/06/2006 18:40

I've been going for the "relaxed" approach all week with a glass of red wine (large) each night. No bd'ing though so unlikely to aid conception!

Sexonlegs · 30/06/2006 18:51

I need the wine to get me in the mood to bd! Dreadful eh! Could never admit that anywhere else!

Beccy1974 · 30/06/2006 18:51

i had my wine last night. feeling yucky today, not wine, just totally peed off, dull back ache, pounding head (weather) & waiting for imminent AF prob on monday. ruining my w'end.

bugger

but i hope you are all well & dandy & that whatever you wish for comes true.

Sexonlegs · 30/06/2006 19:03

Oh Beccy, chin up hun bun. It's so hard being a woman isn't it. Fingers crossed af stays away.
xx

wright4845 · 30/06/2006 20:14

lol SOL! i know what you mean about disclosing your darkest secrets on here. We don't know each other at all but we know each other better than our nearest and dearest if you know what I mean! God, the wine must be kicking in already- I'm getting emotional about my cyber friends!!!!!

Sexonlegs · 30/06/2006 21:35

I LOVE MUMSNET!
You are so right Wrighty. The stuff said on here could not be repeated in RL - well some of it that's for sure!
I really hope things get sorted for you and you can get back on track with ttc.
We will be bdíng again tonight I expect! Mind you, feel so knackered all I want to do is crash out.

bobblehead · 30/06/2006 22:59

How does this sound for a bd'ing schedule, assuming I ov cd21, bd days 17,19,20,21?

Quite honestly dh and I do not have high sex drivesand what with his work and bodybuilding routine (again) and dd getting me up early neither of us are up for it more than once a week! D you think that will suffice or do I need to prepare him to put in more hours in the bedroom?

(Definately can say more on here than in RL!!!)

wright4845 · 01/07/2006 09:17

I reckon you need more bd action esp when ttc. Go to Ann Summers and get yourself a bit of kit..then see if the gym is so important!!!! He'll have to ditch his routine when dd/ds arrives anyway not sure baby would be so understanding. He might as well get used to it. Sorry if this sounds harsh had run in with my dh and feel like bit of man bashing!!!!

coggy · 01/07/2006 10:54

Bobblehead - I'd carry on for a few more days too if you can muster the energy after all that!!!!

Sexonlegs · 01/07/2006 13:45

Hi Bobblehead, I guess the more times you bd the better, but who knows. With dd, we only bd'd twice and was was conceived! Thought second time around would be the same, but sadly not!
Did it loads last month and was still not successful, so maybe more is less as the saying goes!
Me and dh got one of those Durex Play things (like a mini vibrator on a band that fits on dh's doodah) and my word, that is a wonderful invention!
Sorry to be so basic, but I have been dying to sing its praises, but too embarrassed in RL!!!

bobblehead · 01/07/2006 14:17

oooh we have one of them SOL!!!! They are great! Dd was conceived after just one bd too. It seemed so simple- I saw ewcm, had sex and hey presto I was pregnant. I naively assumed it was that easy. Now I have had a 6 month wait for af to return and to be fair this will only be second month of proper trying but it just seems much harder! I think the less you know about ttc the better in some ways as you just assume you'll get pregnant. Now I find myself thinking about positons, timing, diet, etc. I even waited until my period was 5 days late before testing last time- no way will I be able to wait that long again!

Wrighty the trouble with ttc is you have to be nice to your dh if you want any action so I think man bashing on MN is a wonderful thing! Mine would give up the whole ttc thing sooner than the gym I think, although he has agreed it stops when we have another baby. He has a bodybuilding comp in March and then that is it! Or divorce! (as long as I'm pregnant by then- he has his uses!}
He would kill me if he knew I wrote this stuff

Sexonlegs · 01/07/2006 14:34

Fabulous!
What else does anybody use to get them going?
My dh bought some v expensive cream that you put on the most sensitive part (you get me?) and it warms up and is really quite good!

muminamini · 01/07/2006 19:58

ROTFL!
You lot have had me in stitches, just what I needed to cheer me up after v depressing football. Probably no chance of any bd'ing tonight with the mood DH is in after that! Bloody portugese ! (sorry)

I know where Bobblehead is coming from...Last night I had to bribe dh with a chocolate egg to get him to do some bd'ing! It's normally the other wayround - like SOL I need wine to get me in the mood normally cos I'm just too exhausted to Bd.. the play thing sounds good!!! Must watch out for that - don't think DH would be up for it though - he made me get rid of my rampant rabbit when I met him so probably got no chance!

Oh how I miss the rabbit! lol

Hope all those expecting af are ok and still no sign of the old hag. I am on cd 21 and I have completley convinced myself I am pregnant (again).

I have had throbbing boobs for 2 days (never ever had that before) it is agony. Last night my dad came round and I got all emotional and started crying for practically no reason at all...so here is hoping, saying that though it is probably my mind playing tricks on me again but I honestly have a 'feeling'...don't know how I am going to wait till I know one way or the other....

Thank god I can speak to everyone on here.

bobblehead · 01/07/2006 20:15

Sounds hopeful Muminamini, how long are your cycles usually?

I just got back from visiting a newborn at hospital. Actually made me a bit less obsessed as the new mum is a wreck, tired, sore, worried about feeding and scared to go home with him! Brought it all back. She cried when I asked her how she was (and several other times in fact) which made me cry as I remembered so clearly that horrible overwhelmed feeling a newborn brings. Bloody hormones!!! Poor girl says she's never having another one- words I seem to remember uttering myself yet little over a year later, look at me! Totally obsessed!!!

Sexonlegs · 01/07/2006 20:22

Evening all! Football eh! At least Andy Murray is kicking ar** in the tennis! Fortunately dh isn't that bothered by the football result so bdíng on the cards for sure! I can imagine there are many football widows out there though that won't be getting any tonight.
Muminamini, I cannot believe your dh got you to lose the rabbit. I have a vibrator and my dh loves the fact I have one. Go and get another one!
Keeping my fingers crossed for you, as things sound v promising. When would af be due?
BH - what stage are you at? xx

muminamini · 01/07/2006 20:50

My cycle is normally 30 days bang on - very regular, which I know from ready the thread is definatley something to be grateful for.

I am going to my niece's first birthday tomorrow and will be meeting my friends new baby so I am prepared for hormones to go into overdrive when I have been cuddling the little mite. It's amazing how you forget the birth and new mum stresses isn't it? No doubt as soon as we get a BFP all these things will become a big worry!

My Dh insists that I was the one who got rid of the RR after the first time we had sex because "he was so good I didn't need it' ROTFL

Yeah riiiight

I told him about the play thing and he told me to eff off ....lol he's so open minded....

AF would be due 10th July... 9 looooong days.

I just assumed I ov between 10 - 14 days but you guys all seem to have different times - how do you tell when you are?
I know to look for the ewcm....is there anything else to watch for?

Sexonlegs · 01/07/2006 20:59

Muminamini, that is hilarious! You got rid of the rr cos dh was soo good! God love him. Don't mean to berate your dh as I am sure he is grand, but nothing can go on as long as a good old vibrator!
My cycle is pretty much bang on at 30 days as well, but I am only on CD13 today, so ages to go.
Re ovulation, it does seem to vary dramatically from woman to woman doesn't it. I used the ov sticks last month, and it suggested that I ov'd on CD 18 or 19 which sounds quite late. tbh I am really not sure apart from the EWCM as to when I ov - sometimes get a bit of a twinge. I can't be bothered with all the charting and so on. We just try and bd as much as pos in between af's being on the scene! I am sure there is some scientific way of predicting - some people chart their temperatures don't they?

muminamini · 01/07/2006 21:47

Yeah there are some times when you can't be bothered with the massaging of a male ego (or any other parts) and only a vibrator will do! lol

I remember when ttc for DS in the middle of our 4th month I bought one of those temp tester things from Boots and lo and behold AF never arrived and I never got to use it - I ended up giving it away to a needy friend! Our philsosphy is much the same at the moment - just keep bd'ing!!

Sexonlegs · 01/07/2006 21:57

Have you added your details to the stats thread? It's under Conception and stats for ttc.
I am off to bed now - need to get on the case!
See you tomorrow.xx
