Massive congrats to NookNook!! Great start to the new thread.

You know what you should do Twinks, get OH to stop off somewhere on the way home, or go out, and get lovely Gü pudding or some Ben and Jerry's and treat you.
And don't forget, you work, your bits are the complicated parts. No one actually knows what a good sperm count for a man is. So long as he is not firing complete blanks then there is still a chance.

Definitely test tomorrow Twinks. And keep taking your meds. There are reasons why the professionals don't test until 14-16 days afterwards - please don't give up hope yet xxx

5th August - I'm supposed to be in the Lake District on hols then but it depends on how all this goes - we might end up with transfer as late as then - tsk. Baby growing is most important :)

I'm not holding up very well to be honest.

twinks are you on your own? Is your DH home, or have you got any friends who can pop round and give you a real life hug? Try not to feel despondent, and try another test in the morning when you've got nice strong wee !

I stupidly called my husband and he was at work. I feel really bad now. He sounded so sad.

I have no one to talk to in real life. The only friend I know called me selfish last time we discussed it. And I can't deal with another argument with her.

Don't feel bad for calling him twink - you are in this together after all. What time will he get home? Is there anything we can think of to get you through to when he gets in? Please don't lose heart yet - so easy for me to say. What do you feel like doing?

He'll be home soon.

I am so sorry, Twinks, and I know you won't believe me but come Monday you will have absolutely got your head around this and the pain will have receded. In the meantime cry as much as you need to and know we are here. Please know this is not the end. Big hugs.

I don't know how to make this pain stop or how to make a baby.

She doesn't sound like much of a real friend to me, twinks. I don't think you're being selfish, you're going through something sad and painful. I'm glad DH'll be home soon, I think you need a real hug. I hope the counsellor gets through to you in the morning. Do listen to Pramela too, she knows what she's on about.

I'm so lucky I have loads of friends I can talk to about it. I can't imagine what it must be like to go through this without that support.

My husbands here. I've never seen him cry before :(

I rung a friend of mine who I know has been TTC for a while. She was lovely and it was good to talk to someone.

Twinks, I hope you have your DP with you now or very soon. I'm so sorry you're feeling so low tonight but don't give up.
