Roll up, roll up for the best discussions of ewcm, opk, ic and double dying you'll ever have. Probably.

The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

I'm a maximum of 7dpo, but possibly only 4dpo (given how often I've previously O'vd on cd22) so definitely too early as a bfn wouldn't mean anything and a bfp would be vey unlikely. Also, I only have 3 hpts with me, I need to be more patient!!

CatsCantFlyFast · 08/08/2013 17:27

Boodle no symptoms for me. The total absence of feeling anything had me disappointed... Then I got suspicious. Fx for you
And for whoever asked how I am, don't ask. I am saving my loud moaning for non berries Wink

Boomgoestheweasel · 08/08/2013 17:28

Peasant as far as I know (and I do know rather a lot about cervixes) it shouldn't be a problem. A retroverted cervix is a sign that your uterus tips backward rather than forward, that's all. And yes, from what I hear doggy is the best bet (Mr Boom is pleased) as is lying on your front rather than your back afterwards!

How are you deciding when you ov? Is it with opks?

Boodle it all sounds good from here!

Boomgoestheweasel · 08/08/2013 17:29

Ha Merk it was me. I take it back - hope you're not feeling too crappy though x

barkingtreefrog · 08/08/2013 18:32

AF just landed. Way earlier than expected Sad . I suppose I should be grateful it put me out of my misery. Clomid did nothing for me Sad .

Boodle9 · 08/08/2013 18:56

AF is a wicked witch, Barking. Remind me what dosage you were on?Don't give up yet - perhaps it will take more of an effect when you're not travelling about and screwing with your body clock.

BlindKitty · 08/08/2013 19:09

peasant how do you work out when you've ov'd? I'm with boom, actually 'jizzwave' just so happened to be the secret code to join the berry club! I read its best to do it on top and to lie on your front afterwards but my source is only mn gossip so don't quote me!

barking my fc said I would ov with clomid before I actually did (I forget which days) and I defo ov'd as my prog was sky high that month

So Dh is in a right mood tonight, anyone would think he is pre-menstrual not me!!! Grrr

ladybunnikins · 08/08/2013 19:10

Good luck Boodle and Pip, sorry to hear that Barking.
I'm in my last chance cycle before the IVF starts, the drugs are here waiting. I had a really strange dream last night where I was looking at IVF embryos with the embryologist to decide which one to put back. I even asked for a picture of the chosen embryo to show my future child where they came from if the IVF worked!

Boomgoestheweasel · 08/08/2013 19:10

Oh Barking, sorry she got you. I fully accept my sausage slap as punishment for foolish suggestions. Agree with boodle, don't give up on it just yet though, it's obviously changed something with your cycle if AF is here so early so there may still be hope for next cycle. Have some Flowers x

Bunnygirlie · 08/08/2013 19:14

Good effort on the DTD happy

FX kuma

Yay boodle for the longer LP! Boo to the weird dreams like mine!

Hey RP welcome to Berry HQ! I have a tilted cervix, is that the same as retro?!?

Yay boom essay done, excellent!

Oh barking sorry to hear the evil hag got you Sad

Whassup merk ? you know we are here for non Berry issues too Smile

Tallyra · 08/08/2013 19:25

Hi guys, I'm back for a sneaky night in a bed after sleeping on a blow up mattress since Sunday. My hips and back are not liking it. We only came home to shower but I persuaded dh to go back by himself and come and get me in the morning. Tallydog is also enjoying sleeping on the sofa as he's been on guard the whole time and I suspect he's exhausted as he keeps us up for ages barking at suspected camp invaders that tend to be squirrels or falling leaves...

Yay boom for the essay and even more for the diss!!!!!

I've just been reading the weeks worth of posts in the bath (aaaaaah) and had to refill the hot water - so much has happened! I won't reference everything but I will say hi to our newbies and good luck!!

I can't believe there are so many of us going through ivf iui type stuff now, good luck to everyone!!!!

Symptom wise, nothing else has occurred and sore boobs are less sore now. Af due on sat. I'm very tempted to pimp with an opk after the bath just to join in with you all, I feel I've been missing out!

Anyway, back to the woods tomorrow for 1 or 2 more nights, then I'll be back for a couple of weeks before going Mia again to deepest France. That will be during shag week, and there won't be a whole lot to do down there, so I'm going to aim for eod or even ed - never managed that before!

RevoltingPeasant · 08/08/2013 20:51

Boom and Kitty, normally I use oPKs but this time my random mini period made me think it just happened early. I think I'll start temping now...

Bunny, yes! I like retro as it makes me imagine my cervix is very trendy. Instead of a bit weird....

Boodle9 · 08/08/2013 20:55

Tally, I wouldn't bother with the opk...I did one today and there was barely anything there at all! Grin at Tallydog - damn those pesky leaves and squirrels!

Tallyra · 08/08/2013 21:14

I did the opk and there was a tiny faint line. probably doesn't mean a thing. I turned my fella down to dtd today because my back hurt so much. really hoping a nice sleep in a bed helps as he went back to the woods disappointed Sad. I feel really bad.

Bunnygirlie · 08/08/2013 21:22

Ooh tally aren't you first up in our due next list?!?

New listikins?

Bunny - due 13th

Tallyra · 08/08/2013 21:58

probably, af due on the 10th

Bunnygirlie · 08/08/2013 22:42

Oops did I kill the thread Confused

Tallyra · 08/08/2013 22:48

my brain has switched off, nothing to do with you bunny. curled up on the sofa with the dog and enjoying a quiet evening. got to go to sleep now I think, dh is picking me up at 8 to go to the auction house and look at collectibles

Boodle9 · 08/08/2013 22:54

I'm still here (and have been all day pretty much...laziest. day. ever.) Can't really answer the 'who's due next' question as I have absolutely no idea now that my luteal phase now appears to be cooperating a little more. (Normally I would have expected AF today.)

CharmingCats · 08/08/2013 23:53

Someone I haven't seen for ages got in touch tonight to arrange a meet up on Saturday. What's the betting she's diffed?
I hate that I think that way...

OP posts:
Boodle9 · 08/08/2013 23:55

Bah - is it likely, do you think, Charming? I've had a friend approach me for a meet up but she had the decency to tell me she was pregnant first so now I'm making up excuses terrribly busy all the time! [Bad friend emoticon]

I hope it's not what you think and that she just wants a catch up!

barkingtreefrog · 09/08/2013 06:17

Reallt struggled to hold it together today Sad .

I'm on 50mg Boodle. Next cycle is likely to be similarly screwed up with travelling if thats what's done it, although now it's started so early I may have O'vd before we travel back to the UK, but we're crossing to the east coast before then. I'm sorely tempted to try 100mg in September. How stupid would this be do you think?

kitty I've had a 25 day cycle before, but not with a 3-6 day LP!!! If I ov'd this month it didn't happen before cd18. I'd love the consultant to try telling me an LP between 3-6 days is not an issue Angry Angry Angry .

Charming hope you don't get any nasty surprises.

BlindKitty · 09/08/2013 06:30

charming I think that's what my friends think I'm
going to tell them each time I ask them to lunch. They always look so excited...yet I really just fancied lunch with them!

barking I massively overstimmed at 100mg and since you already ovulate (I think you said) then I wouldn't without the advice or monitoring of your fc. You still might have ov'd anyway!

lady I have 3 more days left for an ironic pre iui bfp but don't think it's happening dude! What day will you start your ivf assuming you don't get your ironic bfp?

tally you're missing a whole quilt convention here in brum this week! Hope your back feels better soon xx

Boodle9 · 09/08/2013 06:30

Barking, all I know is I was prescribed 100 from the outset but I only did 50 this month. Any chance of phoning your consultant when you're back off your hol? Do you have a 3 month follow up booked in? If not, perhaps you need one so that your dosage can be upped if needs be. Sorry you're feeling low about it. I still think your body may have just been muddled from travelling. Is it worth holding fire on clomid for this next cycle until you're back, settled and able to temp/pimp with opks properly?

barkingtreefrog · 09/08/2013 07:01

We were given 6 months of clomid in June. No monitoring or check up at all. We'll get an appointment in December so they can refer us to the assisted conception unit. The consultant made it quite clear that as I was already ovulating he didn't think clomid would do anything for me, but then he didn't think a 7 to 8 day LP was a problem and I do. As far as he was concerned we have to try it for 6 months to tick that box on the referral sheet. I don't see any point in attempting to speak to him.
With DP's op in June we already skipped one cycle, so I don't want to skip another and there's not much point skipping it anyway, there's still a chance it could work next cycle, however small. All I know is that it never worked before so anything that might give us a better chance even if it doesn't seem to have done this time is still worth perserving with. I only have 5 tablets with me so will have to stick to 50mg this cycle either way.

Only there's something else bugging me. Maybe this isn't AF. Maybe it's just spotting? It was only a very tiny amount of blood, not worthy of any protection really. The trouble is that AF for me is basically 5 or 6 days of spotting, within which I'll maybe have one day worthy of using a regular tampon but with no danger of it leaking even if I left it in for 8 hours To start within 3-6 days of potential O is ridiculous even for me. But if it is AF I need to start clomid tomorrow (it's 11pm here). Argh!!!
Berries, help! I need to make a decision before I have to take my tablet in the morning! Could clomid have made me spot early, but it's not AF yet? I've never ever had spotting that isn't the start of AF.
