Roll up, roll up for the best discussions of ewcm, opk, ic and double dying you'll ever have. Probably.

The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

Barking, I'm on cd15 and still no positive opk, although I'm going to try again later as TMI my pee was basically just water!

I used to ovulate around CD17-18 but over the last 10 months or so, it's been earlier around CD15 so it would seem clomid is going to make me ov later than I'd been having recently. That doesn't make brilliant sense but I'm on my phone and I'm rubbish at editing! How's it going with you? What CD are you on? Any sign of ov yet?

SidneyBristow · 30/07/2013 11:43

Happy hold barking! Say hi to America for me!!
Still in bed over here with a blinding headache Sad

Tallyra · 30/07/2013 18:06

Oh wow. I've just spent my entire afternoon playing a computer game that came out in my teens! Diablo II was the best game ever and I'm not completely sure how the dog let me get away with it!!

Bunny sorry I missed your party! Looks like you had fun. Cant work out when I first joined MN but its been 16 ish cycles so far and I don't think I'd have survived without knowing there were other women like me (but far more sensible / wise / fun) on this long and heart wrenching journey.

Blind that's exciting about your apptmt!! you'll have to keep us updated.

I'm on MFP too - lazyAquarius - its helping me eat more healthily but mu exercise regime is still pretty non existent....will go and look up you other MFP 'ers for inspiration Smile

Bunnygirlie · 30/07/2013 22:53

How's it going pip?

Boomgoestheweasel · 31/07/2013 09:41

Morning berries

I warn you, I'm in a bugger of a mood this morning but need to vent so I hope you don't mind.

Just found out I didn't even get an interview for the job I really wanted, even though most of the other girls I know who applied did get one. It's really knocked my confidence and I'm now down to having only one option, if I don't get an interview for my second choice then I'm going to be stuck as a waitress until the next round of jobs comes through, which could be anywhere up to a year Sad

Also, Boomdog II is doing my nut in and I think I want to give him back to the rescue people, which I know sounds pathetic and awful but I just can't cope. He constantly wees and poos on the hallway carpet, I feel like I spend all my time on my hands and knees cleaning up crap. Last night after a 15 hour working day I was scrubbing the carpet at 2.30am because he'd escaped from the living room and smeared poo everywhere. Boomdog doesn't like him and even though he's a lovely dog I'm starting to resent him for stressing me out all the time!

And to add insult to injury, am now arguing with Mr Boom about this (he thinks I'm being pathetic) and so a bonk is out of the question, even though for the first time ever I have EWCM. And I have an essay to write.

I'm just so fed up girls, could someone please cheer me up? xx

Sorry for being me, me, me. Behind the grumpiness I'm really excited for you Kitty and Pip hope this cycle's the one!

Boodle9 · 31/07/2013 10:03

Boom, that all sucks. for you. As to the job thing, are you able to (and brave enough) to ask for feedback on your application? I'm going to cross my fingers for the second choice for you.

Boom Dog II sounds like a lot of hard work for sure. I've never had dogs so can contribute nothing helpful I'm afraid. My cat did once get a poo stuck to its leg and then managed to trail it all round the house. This might also be an urban legend, but your poo story reminded me about a tale of someone who owned a roomba vacuum cleaner and a dig that was prone to pooping indoors. I leave the outcome of that story to your imagination.

Boodle9 · 31/07/2013 10:04

Of course, dog, not dig.

Boomgoestheweasel · 31/07/2013 10:22

I've tried to get feedback boodle, relevant person is away. I even asked if there was anyone there I could put my case to for having an interview after all but got laughed at! Oh well.

Boodle9 · 31/07/2013 11:11

Sad and Angry - how dare they laugh at you for that. So rude. Well I hope you're at least able to get some feedback when the relevant person returns.

Boodle9 · 31/07/2013 11:15

Adding myself to the list as I haven't been on there for a while.

Pipbin - 38 TTC since the Royal Wedding, in the middle of first cycle of IVF.

Bunny - 33, this is TTC month 15, AF due 13/8, awaiting FC appt

Blindkitty 33 ttc 25 months, af due 11th, 1st iui appointment Thursday!

Happylass, 35, cycle 13. AF due 21/8. Last cycle before taking a break. Slowly ploughing my way through the ridiculous list of tests needed to get to the FC.

Boodle, 30, cycle 25. 1st cycle of clomid not going well.

Boomgoestheweasel · 31/07/2013 11:53

Sure it will turn out for the best. Probably a horrible cliquey hospital anyway Envy and in any case I'm going to get diffed and not need a job!

Boodle, 30, cycle 25. 1st cycle of clomid not going well.

Boom, 31, ttc 15 months, day 15 of first cycle of clomid, Mr Boom being a fatheaded oaf and refusing to boink at relevant times.

happylass · 31/07/2013 12:06

Boom sorry about the job and dog. Hope things get sorted for you soon. Am a strong believer in what's meant to be. I didn't have a job for the first term after I qualified and was panicking big time. Then got a 6 month maternity cover in a school I'd never heard of - 11years later I'm still there!!
Fell at the first hurdle on Plan EOD. Fell asleep last night whilst DP was in the bathroom and he couldn't wake me - epic fail!! Was only cd 5 though so highly unlikely to mske any difference. Must make more effort in future though!!

SidneyBristow · 31/07/2013 12:57

Hiya boom, sorry about the interview - agree that it is really rude and insensitive for the person to have shot you down like that. That being said, I agree with happy, sometimes things turn out in ways you could never expect. Maybe the universe will surprise you and fill the midwifing-job void with a BabyBoom, who knows? (PS hey universe don't forget me!!)

About the dog, is it possible his housebreaking issues are what landed him at the rescue center? Do they offer any type of support, maybe discounted sessions with a dog trainer? I feel for you - nothing like cleaning up something else's poo to make a trying day worse

SidneyBristow · 31/07/2013 13:01

Oops, the list:
Pipbin - 38 TTC since the Royal Wedding, in the middle of first cycle of IVF.

Sidney, 38, cycle 14. AF due 23/8. Waiting on FC referral; so far tests show nothing wrong. Not quite ready to give up TTC on our own yet (but getting close)

Boomgoestheweasel · 31/07/2013 13:08

Aw thanks happy. I think I was just having a major life wobble this morning and it all seemed too much! I'm not that bothered about the job really, it's more them thinking I'm not 'good enough' to offer an interview that upset me. One way or another at least I'll be earning more than I am now come September, so that's the way I'll look at it!

Sorry you snored your way out of a bonk but plenty of catchup time if you're only on cd5!

Boodle still no luck with the opks? I've decided not to use them, and I think today (cd15) I've got some EWCM but I'm a bit confused as I thought clomid would dry it up...anyway it's irrelevant as he's still sulking so I'm not getting any action. DTD yesterday morning so that might just cover it..?

Boodle9 · 31/07/2013 13:27

Nope. If anything, the opk line was darker yesterday. It's infuriating. My temperatures are also playing up again. Fit the last 4 months or so I've had a small but distinctive rise 2 days before I've ovulated (or at least think
