Roll up, roll up for the best discussions of ewcm, opk, ic and double dying you'll ever have. Probably.

The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

Wow, lady, bunny and pip all with imminent exciting procedures Grin . Have I missed anyone? What with all that and those just starting on clomid the odds have got to be stacked up for another round of berry BFP's soon!! And that's not counting those who will just diff without assistance, like the last round!

kitty and lady I think you're right. I'll all the shit stuff at home apart from the preseed and the clomid and just dtd when we can. Might take a couple of cheapy pg tests though, just in case!!! Shock

Bunnygirlie · 27/07/2013 12:32

Ello! Happy Saturday my lovely Berries!

barking sorry to hear sweeties aren't working as you'd hoped and timings are all off! I say enjoy your fabulous holiday without worrying about temping, give yourself a rest to enjoy it and DTD when you can Wink I know that's easier said than done though. Sorry OH being an arse too! How can we stop stressing when babies are all we think about?????

Ooh lady and kitty it's all go here YAY

Guess who got a letter this morning at last DH has to have a blood test (checking chromosomes) before they send us an appointment date through though grrrrrrrr

Off to fill in a rather lengthy questionnaire...

happylass · 27/07/2013 12:59

Barking I was having the same thoughts re taking all my TTC equipment away on hols. Think I'm going to pack my trusty thermometer as I actually quite like seeing my chart. Leaving the OPKs and Conceive Plus though as we are just aiming for a carefree eod method and going to try to not even think about it!
lady glad to hear that things are moving for you too. Busy times for the Berries

BlindKitty · 27/07/2013 14:07

bunny how come their checking dh's chromosomes? Have you gone private? We've not been offered anything like that with the nhs!

Tallyra · 27/07/2013 15:42

yes. that's quite impressive that they are checking good chromosomes. they wouldn't do that for us even after 3 mcs. fingers crossed!!

I got a letter through from the hospital with appt to see the consultant on 16th Sept. I'm sure all she's going to say is that I'm fine and that's all they can do, so we think the best thing to do is get back to our lives. not worrying about condoms and enjoying each other again. I feel so happy about that - I hadn't realised it had been stressing me out that much! Grin

CharmingCats · 27/07/2013 16:11

So pleased you're feeling better about it, tally . That's half the battle sometimes.
barking I'd agree with the others who've said to leave your paraphernalia at home and dtd when you can. Would/could you skip the next cycle of clomid and start again when you're home & back in a routine? Or does it have to run consecutively? Maybe ask your doc? Might buy you some more time, as you seem to be most concerned about not being able to make the most of the clomid. Not sure if this is advisable...another wiser berry may know? Sorry dp isn't being helpful, do keep ranting on here, though!

Bunny not heard of anyone else having a chromosome test, do you know why they're doing it? Hopefully it won't take too long and you can get your appointment date! Smile

Tally nice to get that weight off your mind Grin

happy if I was staying in one place I think I would take the thermometer, or at least staying in the same timezone! I think I'll pack up the cbfm and opks and thermometer and use them at MiLs on Monday and then leave them in a bag there to pick up when we get back. Monday will be CD16 so you never know, I might get a +opk or a peak reading by then!! Seems a waste of more than a cycle of sticks on the cbfm if I don't even get as far as finding out what's happening, so I might break and take it with me, but then dump it in the bottom of my bag and forget about it for the rest of the trip. I think this is a bad idea but I'll leave the decision until Monday!! If I get a peak or a +opk by Monday then it's easily left and I can relax!

charming I'm not going to skip a cycle of clomid as we've already had to skip one when DP had his op. We might just get a sneaky dtd in during the critical time, even if I won't be aware of whether we've timed it right or not, so don't want to miss the opportunity. 19 cycles of no clomid didn't work, and although I've not Ov'd yet there's still a chance it will have lengthened my LP into 'normal' range, so a chance might actually be a chance, iyswim!

Thank you so much for your support recently, all of you, you've kept me sane! Grin I've only just realised I always go crazy during school holidays - I'm not constantly distracted by work and have too much time to think!!! Hmm Once we set off to America I should be fine!!

Bunnygirlie · 27/07/2013 18:24

Not sure why they want more bloods, just bog standard NHS, the form says chromosomes, cystic fibrosis and Y chromosome micro deletion, I have no idea what that means!?!

barkingtreefrog · 27/07/2013 18:49

Sounds very thorough, don't knock it! Everyone else is just jealous Wink

Bunnygirlie · 27/07/2013 19:30

Thanks barking tell us more about your trip!

BlindKitty · 27/07/2013 20:17

bunny I agree with barking, don't knock it! I've wondered about spending money privately for extra tests!

So sat on my lonesome watching Indiana jones at the temple of doom...he's so effing hot in this , he'd totally get it!!! Think it's the whip and stubble...

Bunnygirlie · 27/07/2013 20:27

Of course, I just wondered why the extra test that's all

DH watching film downstairs, i'm watching tv on our bed with our new furry baby Smile

barkingtreefrog · 27/07/2013 20:31

I am so rubbish at packing. Absolutely hate it. Started yesterday and still not finished, keep ending up online (spending hours browsing new books for the kindle so it felt like packing ) or just sat looking at my bag! DP packed his bag in about half an hour this morning and then left for a stag do. I've got to pick him up tomorrow on the way to his mother's. Had a crap night's sleep and woke with a slight hangover (after two glasses of Pimms, what's that about?!) so have been outstandingly unproductive all day.

Bunny 4 weeks in (mainly) California! I am so outing myself to anyone that might know me

BlindKitty · 27/07/2013 20:44

bunny what fury baby is this? I've obviously missed something!

Bunnygirlie · 27/07/2013 21:01

Ooh fab barking have a fab time, will you be absent from berry HQ?

kitty we decided not to adopt you in the end Wink a kitty needed a home so DH suggested we have it, something to cheer us up through this horrid TTC marlarkey!

barkingtreefrog · 27/07/2013 21:08

I'd love to say I'll be giving all of the obsessive side of ttc a break, including MN, so I can have a proper break, but no doubt there'll be wifi at some points and I won't be able to resist at least lurking to see how everyone is! And to report my BFP at the end of this cycle, obviously.. Hmm

and check out how I'm obviously still sat on the computer over half an hour after posting to say I needed to get offline and finish packing. FAIL

Bunnygirlie · 27/07/2013 21:31

GO AND PACK!!!

BlindKitty · 27/07/2013 22:29

WHAT BUNNY SAID!!!! Come back when you're done and we'll check you have everything!

bunny I didn't realise you'd actually got one, that's great news! Is there a pic on fb? X

barkingtreefrog · 27/07/2013 23:26

All done! I think!

happylass · 27/07/2013 23:44

Ugh Barking I hate packing too. Especially with the ridiculous 15kg luggage restriction we have this time. Obviously I'm having half of DPs luggage allowance too ha!
Am amazed at the variations in tests required for these FC appointments! Mine wants the usual cd21 plus Rubella immunity and Chlamydia screening, I think it was Sid who had to be screened for Syphilis and Bunny is getting her chromosomes checked!! All seems so random!

BlindKitty · 28/07/2013 05:59

happy there seems to be no consistency between units.

barking things I normally forget include: belts, chargers (phone and toothbrush), razor

Bunnygirlie · 28/07/2013 09:09

Not my chromosomes, DHs!

BlindKitty · 28/07/2013 10:31

Ooh our friend Alex is on Sunday brunch today! Don't want to say his full name in case someone googles him and finds this thread!

CatsCantFlyFast · 28/07/2013 10:47

Just ran to turn on TV as I'm nosy!

Boomgoestheweasel · 28/07/2013 11:30

Morning berries!

Apologies for unauthorised absence, been at a wedding in the middle of nowhere with no reception (phone reception, not wedding reception Grin)

Was very pleasant apart from being stuck on a table with a pregnant instadiffa and her two kids, who spent the whole meal whingeing because she couldn't eat the pate or drink the wine. Suck it up, lady, there have to be some benefits to being barren - I helpfully drank her champagne for her Grin. I saw the bride getting sloshed, so pretty sure there won't be an announcement for at least the next three months!

Right, attempting to catch up - excuse me if I miss anyone!

barking boo to bad timing but agree with anyone who's said leave all the trappings at home, just go out there, have fun and dtd whenever possible and hope for the best. Don't forget your toothbrush or your sexy undercrackers! Men are rubbish when it comes to worries about timing...you have my sympathy there Hmm

Bunny how odd that they'd test your DH but not you...surely genetic testing is only worthwhile if both sides get tested? No rhyme nor reason to these bloody tests is there? Still, hope they come back all clear!

Tally glad that you're able to go back to enjoying things again!

Lady, Kitty, Pip, exciting! Things are moving for the Berries it would seem! We are ALL going to be knocked up soon!

That's as far back as I can scroll on this screen - hello to all others who I may have missed, feel free to sausage wang me if I ignored you Smile

Off to the seaside today with the mutts despite the rain. Am feeling pretty chuffed at the moment - DH is really making an effort in the dtd department after I grumbled at him the other day, currently day 12 I think so hopefully a few more days of bonking and I'll be on course for my clomid BFP failure is not an option

Have a lovely Sunday one and all! x
