Roll up, roll up for the best discussions of ewcm, opk, ic and double dying you'll ever have. Probably.

The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

merk it's still strange seeing him on tv!

BlindKitty · 28/07/2013 14:19

boom god I hope so!

Well finally ov'd at day 24! Thought I'd settled into 33 day cycles but clearly not!

SidneyBristow · 28/07/2013 15:28

Hi berries. Back from holiday and have finally caught up on laundry/fixed laptop woes/come out of the fetal position (oh the irony) from being upset at my BFN this past cycle. All I can do is mentally gear up to keep going, so have ordered more OPKs, reset the CBFM which for 2 cycles has just shown continuous High readings, and bought the Emma Cannon book on Kindle that someone alluded to upthread.

Has anyone else wondered if they're getting slightly addicted to the up/down-ness of this TTC lark? I almost feel like I've been doing this for so long now that I'm not sure I'd know what to do with myself if I did get pg. It honestly would be a complete shock and I'm not sure I can even picture it.

Barking hope your holiday is great; CA is incredible, no place on earth like it. Hope the thrush meds work asap!

Gill yes I'm in Surrey; our area is still going by old NICE guidelines where the age cutoff is something around 40. I can't remember the specifics since in my case the fact that DH has children bars us from having IVF on the NHS.

Those of you who are in the process of fertility clinic procedures, all my fingers and toes are crossed for you!

Happy argh on the wedding timing/TTC timing conflict...wedding planning is stressful enough w/o trying to factor a pregnancy in; I feel for you!! Details on your dress choices please when you feel like sharing!!

Everyone else, hope your weekend is going well; one last load of laundry to handle so can't namecheck anyone else but will get back to posting properly over the next few days! Thanks for all the sweet messages about my holiday/BFN. Nobody 'gets it' like my fellow berries Thanks

Bunnygirlie · 28/07/2013 17:43

Ello! Anybody around this evening?

Anybody else had neg opk one morning, + in the evening, then + next morning, neg that night?!?

SidneyBristow · 28/07/2013 18:02

I'm here, procrastinating about dinner :)

That sounds like my worst nightmare scenario for OPKs...any chance you DTD in the evening & in the morning? I'm losing faith in the timing of everything and am wondering if it's just best to DTD daily and use the OPK sticks as just an unusual hobby!!

Bunnygirlie · 28/07/2013 18:06

What do you fancy for dindins? We had big lunch so won't have much for dinner.

Tricky isn't it. There is no chance DTD 2 days in a row here usually, trying to persuade DH with no luck so far today! Grrrrrr
DTD thurs eve and sat morning and got what I think is a +opk sat night and again this morning. Really wanna get a brucie bonus bonk in tonight and then again Tuesday!

SidneyBristow · 28/07/2013 18:25

Sandwich and a salad, probably, all the posts about eating better have shamed me into taking a look at my own diet, and it isn't pretty!

Sounds like you're in good shape though with Thurs pm & Sat am, but yeah would be better if you could get a top-up (ha ha!) tonight too! and then Tues can just be a safety shag. Tell him it's mandatory!

BlindKitty · 28/07/2013 18:36

sid I actually think I do opks and bbt for fun you know! We still dtd eod regardless. I think I'm actually addicted to them! Have tried to stop but it just stresses me out, like I'm not in control anymore even though I've absolutely no control of the situation anyway

Boomgoestheweasel · 28/07/2013 19:08

Kitty I'm so glad I never started opk or temping...I'd be like the ttc version of Gollum, camped out in the loo and constantly weeing on my presssccious CB sticks!

Bunny good luck getting your bonus bonk!

Happy oooh do tell all about dress-hunting, I love other people's wedding plans so I do!

Sid I was actually contemplating today what would happen if I wee'd on a stick and it said I was pregnant. I think I'd probably assume it was faulty/lying. I'm so used to getting a 'no' now that I can't imagine a different outcome...I think the disappointment I used to feel has now become resignation Sad.

Right, off to make some dinner. Also can't decide what to make, it was going to be roast lamb but since we had a massive portion of fish and chips and an icecream at the beach I really don't need anything that heavy!

Bunnygirlie · 28/07/2013 20:02

Aaaaagh def no bonus bonk for me, earlier it was I'm not in the mood, now it's you know what happens when you pressurise me and then and now you're in a strop... Of course i am, makes me wanna kick him right in the balls! I don't know why I fecking bother!

Boomgoestheweasel · 28/07/2013 21:34

Wow Bunny, are you secretly married to my husband? Why are ours the only men on the planet who don't want to constantly be shagging?? Top tip however: don't kick him in the balls, you want the sperm to swim straight when you finally persuade him to dtd!

Tallyra · 28/07/2013 21:38

there is no 'like' button here, but I'd be pressing it if there were :-P

BlindKitty · 28/07/2013 22:12

On no boom, I think bunny is married to MY Dh! Tbf my sex drive has always been the strongest one but it wouldn't kill him every once in a while to make the first move or light a few candles!

Bunnygirlie · 28/07/2013 22:27

Ah I think I spot the problem kitty and boom if we all share one husband no wonder he isn't up for it Wink

Boomgoestheweasel · 28/07/2013 22:37

Ha bunny! Although surely having a gorgeous Berry harem should get his pulse thumping a bit, non?

Bunnygirlie · 28/07/2013 22:47

Tee hee!

Bunnygirlie · 28/07/2013 22:49

Berries, you are cordially invited to Bunnys MN anniversary party, yes as of tomorrow I have been on this site for a whole year! And sweet F A has changed Sad Angry Confused

Hoping for a few chums to join me tomorrow eve for a cyber Wine or four Grin Be here or be a rhombus Wink

Pipbin · 28/07/2013 22:51

Well how could I turn that down Bunny?

How do you know it's been a year?

barkingtreefrog · 28/07/2013 23:43

Wow, I'm away for 24 hours and you're all sharing a husband?!?! Shock
What brought you to mn bunny? I know when I joined the thread as it was the half term holidays (too much thinking time available again) and while googling for evidence to support my theory that my bfn was clearly wrong as AF was definitely late but given my 7/8 day LP I probably wouldn't get a bfp until I was 6 days late and clearly upduffed All I discovered was that a short LP, far from being a good thing (I thought I was lucky to have almost half the waiting time of the 2ww) was probably a bad thing. It was a thread on here that came up on Google and then I discovered the conception board, but everyone kept getting diffed and leaving and then I discovered the berries Grin .

Boom you are probably right about the dangerous obsession. I think I just crossed a pimping line and am so ashamed of myself Blush .

Still - opk though. stupid consultant told me that on the clomid I would definitely Ov between cd11 and cd17. But I always get a +opk 2 days before Ov, and a peak cbfm the day before. Now on cd15 so it's looking unlikely. Surely I couldn't not Ov for the first time ever after taking clomid?!?! Oh well. Have just had a super quick and sneaky dtd at MiLs house so despite my bits we've managed to dtd eod up to now. All pointless if the clomid hasn't moved Ov though as that would mean I'd expect it around cd22, so another week away!!! Angry . Better than it not happening at all though! Oh where, oh where has it gone?! Hmm Shock Going just a little loopy now

barkingtreefrog · 28/07/2013 23:47

Oh, and I didn't pack the thermometer so no 7am alarm for me!!!! Grin Grin

CatsCantFlyFast · 29/07/2013 07:09

Barking, isn't it normal to O a bit later with Clomid?

barkingtreefrog · 29/07/2013 07:20

merk not as far as I was told. Especially not as I already O so late in my cycle, both the nurse and the consultant at the fc clinic said clomid would sort this out.

barkingtreefrog · 29/07/2013 07:25

Google says ovulation with clomid usually occurs 5 to 10 days after the last pill. Another site quotes 5-9 days after. This fits with what the fc said. I took my last pill on cd6 so I really should have had some signs of Ov by now Angry .

Morning!

pip I was bored the other day and started looking at the threads I have started and the first one was 29 July last year! Not sure what brought me to mumsnet Barking just after some like minded people going through the same thing to chat to I guess :-)

Cleaner will be in later to dust the pouffe and hoover the chaise lounge!
