New thread for the lovely 10+ers.

Mad oh yes that sounds very familiar. I just had a wave a very slight nausea - then looked down and realised I've eaten through an entire giant tub of hummus and dips - that will be that then. Good luck for tomorrow. Have bought a test with words on it, I can't be doing with squinting at lines.

Ginestas · 07/09/2013 20:37

Popping in to wish cos and mad good luck for tomorrow! I'm so so hoping it's a good outcome for you both. And you both sound totally unmenkul. mad don't want to add to the evil symptom spotting, but for the first few months sneezing hurt my ovary type area...

cos I too was vaguely lusting after the Hollyoaks boy Grin, whilst thinking I bet he instantly got his gf up the duff.

joy so pleased to hear it went ok this morning. A party? You were up at the crack of dawn and had a procedure . Hope the stabbing is going ok.

Aww lemons big hugs. You have lots of lovely frosties waiting for you. I hope this helps a little.

Ginestas · 07/09/2013 20:38

X post cos just to warn you that the words ones need a lot of hcg to work...

Buzzybee123 · 07/09/2013 20:54

cosmos that is what the thread is for, I was a mental case in the 2ww and tested early Blush

rabbit I had that moment about 2 hours ago when I thought WTF, but it neeed to be done, there was a fair bit of dust etc from the windows being fitted, plus they haven't been cleaned in about 2 years and the carpet is insanely light Hmm also i'm a little OCD anal retentative so like a nice tidy place, tidy house tidy mind, Barry has been a star, he has one most of the work and made dinner while I had a tidy up in my craft box :)

OP posts:
Ginestas · 07/09/2013 21:28

Btw rabbits I have a Michel Roux crush too (and I'd give his uncle one if he was 20 years younger)

ThatWayMadnessLies · 07/09/2013 21:32

Thanks guys,

gin I have sneezed since with no pain so have dismissed it as a one off Blush. Found myself looking at pregnant colleague and thinking about the fact there is actually a little person in there that she can feel move. It's quite a freaky thought!!

buzzy I hope MrM takes that kind of an approach tomorrow. He's already been told that I am doing no heavy lifting regardless of test result and he gets to do the bathrooms with the chemicals Grin.

cos I have a digital test too, but only because flipping tesco had run out of every other kind. There must be a run on pregnancies around here. Meant to say earlier I know an adoptive couple who found out that the birth mother of their son is pregnant again. Suffice it to say that that is not a good idea and it does give a stabby feeling thinking about it.

Off to lose myself in mindless telly and pretend not to think about tomorrow.

Buzzybee123 · 07/09/2013 21:58

madness best to get Mr M to do the crap jobs the hard stuff, I managed to convince myself that all the lifting had pulled my placenta away Blush so plan to do very little lifting when we sort out the living room, my job shall be to pacify the cat :)

fingers and toes are crossed for tomorrow

Another late one for me but just a massive good luck for Mad and Cos tomorrow.

Will catch up tomorrow but well done Joy you are a trooper! Euro your friends email made me feel physically sick! Lemon so sorry for the sad date. Buzzy you have been on hilarious form today Grin.

And a gazillion other things I am too tired to type. Another hectic social weekend, got home about 10.15 to find a cat missing so spent an hour and a half trudging the fields and woods with head torches. Gave up and he appeared through the cat flap 2 minutes later. Very glad to see him. The monkey...

Waves to everyone else I missed in shortest name check ever

Poutintrout · 08/09/2013 00:14

Good luck with your testing madness. Fingers tightly crossed for you and cosmos You made me laugh about the whole sneezing thing. I have those kind of bonkers thoughts too.
Can I join the sewing circle please?! I have bought some knitting needles and have watched a video on how to knit so that is my new thing for the moment. I have visions of knitting amazing blankets and throws but I suspect the reality will be me staring vacantly between YouTube video and needles and then having a tantrum. I think I might have bought the wrong needles too. They are mahoosive and look like comedy knitting needles.

gin thanks for the reassurance. I don't know quite what I expected about the embryo defrosting and while I imagined it isn't quite like defrosting a Xmas turkey overnight I really have no idea.
I can't believe that you can feel your baby move. That is amazing.

buzz Can you send Barry over here please?

rabbit and gin I think Michel Roux is phwoar too. ^tries to redeem myself somewhat over the PA shame. I blame my mid life crisis--

Poutintrout · 08/09/2013 00:15

nelly glad to hear that your cat came home Smile

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 08/09/2013 06:45

Just a quick good luck for the testers if they are anything like me the test is done and dusted, but then the two times I've tested on OTDs it has been sort of positive, which goes with insomnia for me.

Cosmos1 · 08/09/2013 07:13

Was awake till 5. Just tested. It's only a bfp. Am slightly shaking. Oh god how long will this last and what new horrors lie await I wonder purely pragmatically in a true 10 plusser way. (smile) please stay please stay...

rabbitonthemoon · 08/09/2013 07:27

Cos - YES!!!!!! If I could come round your house and dance around with you in the garden I would SmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmileSmile made my day that has.

Cosmos1 · 08/09/2013 07:36

1st ever positive after 6 bleeding years and another one for Ivf doing its thing, no matter what happens next, plus this is embie numbers 6 and 7 that got put back and gradings weren't that high. Just saying. Maybe it's just about not giving up. Even if this goes wrong gives me hope something will work eventually. I think the extra progesterone injections have made a difference.

Ginestas · 08/09/2013 07:59

OMG!!! cos am so so soooooo thrilled for you Grin Grin. I actually have a little tear in my eye. Enjoy the day - my first ever faintest of faint lines in 34 years was one of my best! No worrying until at least tomorrow.

Come on fertility gods, let this be a double bfp for the 10+ers

ThatWayMadnessLies · 08/09/2013 08:03

Grin cos!!!

MrM is currently terrified that the blood test tomorrow will contradict it but my little digital test just said BFP Shock.

I'm just like you cos, even if this isn't viable I have never had a positive on a test before and that has to be a good sign.

I hope it makes others feel more positive even though I found that really difficult that after three and a quarter years, 2 surgeries, removal of a Fallopian tube, 6 months of downregging and two ivf cycles, we may have just cracked it.

ThatWayMadnessLies · 08/09/2013 08:04

Cross post gin Grin Grin. Maybe they were listening!

Cosmos1 · 08/09/2013 08:10

Mad Grin !!!! And yes I agree with the hope thing

rabbitonthemoon · 08/09/2013 08:16

Mad and cos just checked in again and I have a tear in my eye. There isn't a cloud in the sky here, the most perfect early autumn day. Enjoy this bit in technicolour loveliness. Love to you both and you've given me hope. I feel totally soppy!

akuabadoll · 08/09/2013 09:16

Both! YES. wow, wow, wow. This is a massive massive step. Congratulations to cos and mad

Poutintrout · 08/09/2013 09:28

Waking up to a Ten Plussers double win is amazing. Congratulations cos and mad Grin Grin Grin

joycep · 08/09/2013 09:28

Mad and cos!!!!!! Yes yes and flipping yes!!!! This is just wonderful news.
I've got more to say but rushing for a scan and blood test.

(Punches air with excitement)

Cosmos1 · 08/09/2013 09:31

Team hug. Come on the gods, everyone else now please. Grin

eurochick · 08/09/2013 09:51

Oh yes! It's only a double win. I am so thrilled for both of you! What brilliant news.

joy well done for being on the way again.

critter what a shame that they are trying to screw you on mat leave. I hope it all works out.

gin and buzz I can understand how it must be hard to get your head around. doll I hope you are doing well.

pout it sounds like it won't be long now until Colin comes home.

PrincessChick · 08/09/2013 10:47

Woohoo! Huge congrats cos and mad! Huge wonderful news! Let the autumn bfp bonanza be off to a start! I'm so so so so so so chuffed for both of you Grin Grin Grin Grin a big smile crept over my face when I read Cos's post this morning.

euro your friend's email horrified me. I'm in no way bigging myself up and I do have grumpy days with mini princess but all of the other mums I've met moan so much about every aspect of motherhood from horrific births to horrible babies. I truly haven't felt like this. I'm so grateful for mini princess and I'm battle hardened after 4 years of making her - it makes you stronger. I bet your friend is a self entitled moany mum. How bloody dare she! You'll be a far better mum.

critter woohoo! A likely girl Grin!!

Right, loads of love to all the 10 plussers

Ps do you know about PAs huge dong? Jordan once compared it to a sky plus remote. Wink Grin
