Ginger: my honest opinion is that one drink is not going to damage anything if you are pregnant so I would take a drink tonight if you wished for it

I'm out for a friend's birthday and have made the decision to have a couple of bevvies but drink mainly soft drinks. I expect people will ask why so I'm going to pretend I'm on antibiotics rather than tell everyone that we are ttc!

Hi bloumermaid. I haven't had af or withdrawl bleed since coming off the pill. What pill were u on? (I was on cerazette). Like you tho we have just been ttc anyway to see what happens as I'm pretty certain I ovulated on 28/29 as had the mucus but did 2 preg tests, both bfn. But have had pink/brownish spotting the last 3 days (literally one spot per day) so quite confused! Just trying not to think too much in to it but if no proper af might test again early/mid nxt week.

I used ones similar to those Italian but they were more sensitive (10mgu). I got a really faint BFP on 9dpo with those (not fmu), so I think they were fairly sensitive.
A week on an I still don't have clear symptoms (just to keep you all hanging in there). It still doesn't feel particularly real without symptoms though

Going home from my little holiday tomorrow and the bleeding has thoroughly slowed to an almost stop, so maybe tomorrow night I can actually dtd which will be a welcome change

CD20! Earlier than last month which I'm happy about.. Maybe my cycles are going to start being a bit more normal from now on.

Now kind of annoyed we didn't dtd last night but we DID dtd Friday night so that's good I guess

Gonna make DH dtd this morning AND tonight ... Dunno if that's possible nowadays but I can try! Lol

How many days do people dtd for in a row once they get their positive? Due to DH going away with work, we only managed to do it on the day of the positive and the day after last month and then he went away for a few days.

Today , tomorrow and the following day? And the day after?!

Gillywillywoo I think SMEP would say today, tomorrow, Tuesday and Thursday. So I guess that's the ideal! (Sounds a lot to me :-) )

Good luck Gilly... three days in a row then one day off and a final go seem to be what's recommended in SMEP. Ive never quite managed that though.

I'm halfway through my 2ww and dying to test even though I know it's far too early and I dont have any symptoms. Waiting is agony!

Does anyone know what's the reason for the "day off" in SMEP? Is it just so our men can have a rest? ;)

Also I should add, just did a test with EMU and BFN.... A bit disappointed but hoping AF will come tomorrow so I can start the next cycle!

Even if we don't manage tonight, we will dtd tomorrow and Tuesday.. And then Thursday.... As per SMEP! Well.. We'll try anyway!

Also halfway through the dreaded 2ww and symptom spotting like mad... know its too early and most symptoms can be practically explained away by other factors - but have definitely never felt like this in 2ww before so can't help but get a little excited slaps wrists and puts practical face back on been on and off nauseous since about 2 days after presumed ov (I use an app no testing), defo off some of my favourite food and not handling the heat on holiday at all well (im usually - the hotter the better! ) also, (tmi alert!) weird brown type colour in a lot of cwem this am! very unusual.
telling myself to not get excited-will feel like a dunce if not - probably just a dodgey tum....
hoping this next week flies by! who is testing next - we need some excitement! xx

Hello, ladies. May I join you? 4 dpo now, due to test on Aug 22nd (my DH's birthday! - if only I could have a BFP as a present for him...)

TBH, I feel a tiny bit silly joining one of these buses as we've been trying for absolute yonks and are due to start IVF treatment sometime in next couple months, but no harm having a last natural hurrah, eh? Even if still being hopeful that it just might work after all this time does make me feel a little silly.

Congrats to all those who got BFPs so far, and good luck to those still waiting to test! May it not be too mental a wait. drums fingers impatiently
