Hi Gingerandcocoa (which sounds delicious btw). We've been trying for just about 3 years now! (That is a LOT of shagging.) I've had a couple BFPs/chemical pregnancies/early MCs in that time, but not even one of those for over 2 years now. And yet, this month I'm feeling hopeful. I blame the 5 days (!!!!) of EWCM. (Haven't seen that kind of thing since I was a horny teenager.) How long have you been TTC?

Anyway, hope it's gloriously sunny where you are too. I've got a busy day of basking in the sunshine planned.

I feel a bit guilty as in comparison we've just started trying, really, this was our 2nd cycle, AF due tomorrow but BFN today so I think it didn't happen this month. I always thought I'd fall pregnant immediately (why wouldn't I?), had no idea you could only get pregnant on a specific day of your cycle, that chances are 25% per cycle etc!!!

Ginger, I tested with FMU the morning before my period was due and got a BFN so I thought the same as you. However, I took another test about 8 hours later and definite BFP!! Until AF arrives there is always hope!!

ginger I was the same before we started ttc, no idea that the window for conceiving was so short. You spend your youth being told you will get pregnant if you so much as look at a boy the wrong way! Damn lies!

I'm in the dreaded 2ww. Not sure when I ovulated. Had ewcm one day and then again almost a week later (both lasting just 1 day). Did anyone else experience anything like it?

Writer, that gives me a glimmer of hope :) Anyway, now I've run out of tests so will just wait and see if AF comes over the next couple of days. I'm tired of all this waiting!!!

Imaginary, that's so true, I was once convinced I was pregnant, even though I was still a virgin..........

Think I may be on my way out - cramps and some serious spotting today after the BFN yesterday morning. However, it ain't over til it's over so I'll stay on for another few days until I either hit CD1 or a BFP.

Ginger, but what about dirty toilet seats?! You shouldn't feel guilty at all, it would be wonderful if everyone who wanted a baby could just get knocked up first try! It would save a lot of anxiety and heartbreak. And honestly, I still don't see why I haven't just gotten preggers straight away, it makes no sense to me. Part of me is still convinced I'm uber-fertile. deluded

I'm new to mums net I'm not sure i understand all the abbreviations but I stoppedy pill July 20th and I'd love to be pregnant already! I've been having a brown/ red mucus for a few days which has sent me off in a panic as I've never had anything like this before, everything I read tells me something different though x

Have you got your last breakthrough bleed yet? I'm guessing so, as July 20th is a while ago.

Yes that was a week after I'd stopped the pill. Sorry I'm not very good with this we are trying for our first baby :)

Thought I would join in as I have been lurking all month.

Not sure ive got all the abbreviations yet, but im ttc #1 started this month. AF is due on the 26th so ages to wait.

Trying not to get to obsessed and just making sure me and the hubby are at it every other day or more if we feel like it.

Had an irrational drunken fallen out with the boyfriend last night, which I reckon means AF is on her merry way.

Actually feeling quite positive about it. Our uncreated child has obviously decided that it doesn't want a late April/early May birthday!

Also means I can drink wine, eat brie & rare steak on my birthday, if I so wish and there's lots more dtd to do

I'm on day four of opking and had three days of flashy smileys I'm only cd8 today but taking no chances and planning on cutting sex down to every other day to increase possibility of pregnancy.

I know this sounds odd given how much extra effort I'm making this month compared to previous but I'm not feeling it this cycle at all anyone else ever feel a little despondent?

So got my positive digi OPK this morning and managed to dtd this morning AND this evening! DH is feeling very pleased with himself and I am very pleased with him also lol

Looks like, Dragons Den style, "I'm out". Spotting has now turned into a proper period so I guess this is were I change buses and hop onto the September one.

I've been feeling nauseated only in the evenings for past 2 nights and just starting again....but bfp due approx 18th so surely too early for symptoms! I think I'm symptom spotting oh well
