Hello! Please can I join in too? I'm a new member and it's my first post.
I'm ttc#2, cycle 1, bfp around 18th august, trying to hold off testing until then!

Hugs Baby, I have had vertigo on/off for the last 18 months. It sucks but it does get better. Have they given you any medication? Mine is due to stress to meds don't control the symptoms but dealing with the stress has made it get better slowly.

I have had awful AF cramps for the last two days. Mother nature is such a bitch. I know I am not pg now a week before my af date, which is a kick in the balls to begin with but to top it off with really awful af cramps is just TAKING THE PISS screams and clutches sides thank heavens for codeine and wine and chocolate! In good news tho, dp has his first gig with his new band on Saturday so I am excited about seeing him play. He's had to learn 30 new songs in a month!

Luckily I didn't get a positive OPK whilst I was away for a few days

Back home now and we are starting SMEP as of yesterday.

Cd19 today and this is my 3rd month using digi OPKs. First month I got my positive on cd20 and last month on cd25.

Hate having long cycles!

I POAS this morning, but BFN Not that surprising seeing as I'm not due til Tuesday, though the nausea, cramps and metallic taste are making me wonder... I'm going to step away from the tests until Tuesday now. By that point I should have a definite answer either way.

I'm wondering if I ovulated yesterday or about to maybe. Not had positive OPK but temp up a bit this morning. Altho they have been all over the place this mth so who knows. Maybe will be clearer tomoz.

That sounds exciting gilly this smep sounds interesting, I might look at this for next month if AF turns up , I just don't know if I'm disciplined enough to stick to a plan [embarassed]

Wow,reading this, I actually think it might be a good idea to start using OPK straight away because then at least if I know I've ovulated, I can roughly choose a time to POAS! Otherwise it'd be a complete stab in the dark!

I know vjones it certainly seems that way..,. I held off opks as this is first month ttc and didn't want to get too stressed...
I've guessed my ovulation date ~ apparently if normal cycles then your ov date is day 14 usually so we dtd a lot around then, time will tell

I'm exactly the same - currently in month 1 and I'm on day 9 of my cycle but seem to have ewcm already, which is a bit early for a 28-day cycle. If this is going to be 'normal' for me then I guess I'll ovulate in about 3 days? Have no idea when my next period would be due though... am so confused!

Good news about not ov-ing while you were away gilly, the upside of having longer cycles!

I used opks from the start as I know I can get a bit totally obsessed about things so I need to know what's going on. I think it's good not to if you're more relaxed as it probably retains the fun and spontaneity a bit more in the early days though! I try not to tell dh too much about when I'm ov-ing etc to keep any pressure off but he seems ok and interested so far, always asking 'how's your pee doing today?'!

Was gonna start smep yesterday as cd8 but i fell asleep on the sofa when I got in from work and then felt really sleepy and groggy all eve so not in the mood. Dh has gone away for the night today so new plan is start tomorrow afternoon when he's back!

hey been busy with work past week but decided to do a random ov test yest morn and it had a faint line in test zone so I did another today and its gone. I'm guessing that means I ov'd sometime this week? typical coz yest was only day we managed to DTD since last sun so I'm not holding out much hope for this month bit DH did have a dream last night that we had a baby girl and called her Kaitlyn... not a name on our list lol he's never had a baby dream before tho . army wag sorry about ud results but hopefully that means they can get you sorted soon x

Skyler a faint like on an OPK doesn't really mean anything at all. I have faint lines every day of the month!
It's only when the line is the same as the test line or darker that you can be sure.

BFN this morning
Keen to start opks but not having a cycle (no AF) makes it tricky to know when to start...if I do them every day it could become an expensive business! I think I'll do a HPT again on Wed then make an appt with the doc if still BFN and no AF.

SMEP sounds good, keep us posted Gilly! We're just dtd every other day at the mo, not as much of a pain as I'd expected...yet! (Sorry if tmi)

Hi bloumermaid... I'd recommend getting some cheap OPKs on the Internet and start ASAP... You've got nothing to lose!
If/when AF arrives you can then count from day one and maybe then invest in some clearblue digi OPKs.

Asked DH to pick up some more pregnacare conception tablets for me today as i ran out this morning... He just called and said boots have sold out and he's bought seven seas trying for a baby tablets instead.

Gilly they are but the pregnacare ones have higher levels of some of the vits. They have basically the same constituents tho.

Ah I see. Well they will have to do for now I suppose! He's bought 2 months worth. Hopefully I'll get my bfp and can upgrade to pregnacare pregnancy ones

First testing the 23 :( would love to test earlier but not possible ...

AF due on Monday or Tuesday, I couldn't resist the temptation, went to superdrug and tested yesterday afternoon, got a BFN. Will test again tomorrow morning with FMU.

The thing is, I'm going to a really nice bar for my friend's bday tonight... I'd love to have a glass of wine but don't know if I should. What do you think? I don't really feel pregnant, and given the BFN yesterday, could I still be pregnant? Or should I have a drink tonight??
