I have to admit, I did the whole legs in the air for half an hour after dtd last night...even though all the reading I have done says it really has no effect....but this month I'm doing trying anything!!

Any other tips?! If no bfp this month think ill order some opks for the next cycle.

Baby (you're full name gives me bad dreams) lob one of the jaffa cakes will ya? I'm meant to be healthy but I'm constantly ravenous and loooove 'em. Opks will make you more obsessive but do definitely take the guess work out of the whole process if they work for you. I find ics fine but I know lots of these ladies prefer cb.

Hey! Any room on the bus for me??? I am hoping for bfp this month. Ovulated and ttc A LOT on 29th july (prior to and after also) not sure when to do a test tho as I only came off bcp on 22nd july but pretty certain I was ovulating around 29th! I know I'm being completely optimistic that it will happen so soon after bcp as I haven't had an af since coming off it on 22nd so who knows what's going on with my cycle! :/

Hi pixie ! I've started the usual pre period spotting today and a bit yesterday so expecting to be thrown off the bus tomorrow! Thanks for asking! . Didn't think I'd be lucky enough to get a bfp 2 months in a row. Doesn't stop you hoping though! You've been ttc for a while too? Have you had any early miscarriages? I'm wondering whether to make a trip to the docs as I'm no spring chicken anymore!

Impatientlywaiting you sound similar to me - what did you count as CD 1 after miscarriage?

Hi marie sorry you've got normal pre af symptoms. Have heard increased fertility after mc so had my fx for you. I've not had any mc..never got to a bfp sadly so I can't imagine what it's like to go thru the ups and downs you have. We've been trying aaaaages...perhaps I'm the oldest timer on this bus? Not sure, started joining back in oct I think. Been trying since got married last year and in earnest for 12 cycles. I'm in my early 30s so thought I'd better get to Dr sooner rather than later. started having blood tests - cd21s fine but they messed up last month's cd3 set so have to have them done again. Dh having fishies test end of mth having waited months for it. Think I need to find a thread with knowledge on referrals as not sure I'm doin or what I should be asking!

Unfortunately I can't work my stats out as yet, just came off the pill on 22nd july and haven't had withdrawl bleed or af so far but had signs of ovulation on 28/29th july so af due this wkend!! But just being very unrealistic and hoping it doesn't arrive!! But if it does I can then monitor my cycle properly for ttc this month :) I am trying for no 2, my first child is 12yrs old!!! So I'm not in the way of this at all now. I wish u well with your journey, hope u get a bfp soon!!

Hi Pixie. That must be so frustrating for you. At least you are under investigation and hopefully a positive outcome for you soon! I have everything crossed for you! I'm in my early 30's which makes me panic a bit too! I'm sure that whatever stopped me conceiving for such a while was also the cause of early mc. Convinced its low progesterone as have other signs such as shortish luteal phase and pre af spotting. I can recommend that you have a look at the elderberry pavlovas thread! It's for women over 30 ttc number 1 for longer than 3 months. The ladies on that discussion board have so much information and knowledge to pass on. I'm sure you'll find it helpful!

Ah Marie I'm so sorry you think AF's on her way. Are you ok? I'm actually pretty scared for my AF to arrive. Although I try to tell myself that it would be unlikely to get a BFP two cycles in a row, because I got my last BFP on cycle 2, I think somewhere in my head I believe that I'm going to be preggers by the end of the month. I'm a bit worried I'm going to be really upset if I'm not.

Sorry you've been through the same thing Cheesy. I MC'd at 5 weeks. Spotting on the Friday, bleeding on the Saturday and a negative test on the Monday. I'm counting CD1 from the bleeding on the Saturday, but def think I'm a few days behind, as by this stage last cycle I'd had my O symptoms and this month nothing.

So those tablets worked really well.

Now I've lost them and AF has come back with a vengeance. I think she's trying to kill me from the uterus upwards. Cow.

I think today is the day. Seems to be a lot of fuss being kicked up in my womb area the last few days. I hopes it's Miss. Flo herself. Sorry to everyone that she did get though. Think positive, at least she is here, unlike me and my 102cycle :D

I hope 2 in a row starts a new trend and we see more BFPs (nice to see purple's putting the legwork in).
Sorry to those of you that are out til next month and much respect to captain for being so sensible and deferring ttc- I really hope you get a +ive in the first month of trying again.

marie and pixie sounds like we all in similar boats... Also early 30s, cycle 8 of serious trying and not so much as a sniff of a bfp if no luck this month going to take myself off to the doc to start the process.... BUT it WIll be our month so hopefully no need for that x
