BrookerC · 13/07/2013 21:42

You are so right darling fab! nomaybe c'mon hun-what's upsetting you? x

NoMaybeAboutIt · 13/07/2013 21:43

I'm spotting again. I just know in my heart of hearts that it hasn't worked and the thought of dragging it out for anther week makes me sad Sad. Sorry, I'm not meaning to drag the rest of you down when there has been so much good news the last few days x

BrookerC · 13/07/2013 21:52

Nomaybe, Sweetheart we are all here to support one another-what ever stage we're at. Are you 5DP5DT

NoMaybeAboutIt · 13/07/2013 21:58

Thank you so much Brooker. Yup, 5dp5dt. I just feel gutted! Hopefully things will seem better in the morning x

MotorcycleMama · 13/07/2013 22:05

maybe this is a truly horrible time in term of anxiety - I am right there with you, seriously. I had to send my very good friend home early this evening as I got it in my head the pregnancy had ended and I just couldn't speak anymore.
If I remember correctly, it is very early days for you - too early to test, but late enough for implantation? Spotting does not mean that it hasn't worked, but it is something you should discuss with your clinic if you haven't already. I'm sure everything is just fine. Hang on in there - we're with you. Xx

BrookerC · 13/07/2013 22:08

A good night's sleep can be a god send through all this stressing. Although it's 25 degrees in my house at the mo, even with all the windows open...
I know that feeling - it's the shittest of the biggest fattest shits in the whole shitty world Sad. You've got to keep going-it's fucking hard but you have to. xx

NoMaybeAboutIt · 13/07/2013 22:24

Thank you so much Brooker and Motor. Your words mean everything. Is everything on with you Motor? I can only imagine how you are feeling x

You are right, I'm a week of OTD. The blood was just on the end of my crinone applicator. It's just a massive head fuck isn't it!

Tis hot here too Brooker! If it could be warm in the day and freezing at night I'd be happy Smile

BrookerC · 13/07/2013 22:40

Yeah,I'm a fussy bastard too nomaybe Grin. The head fuck is the hardest part & I have never had a BFP so god help us all if when it happens.
motor sorry you're feeling so anxious. Please don't be tough on yourself. x

NoMaybeAboutIt · 13/07/2013 22:43

I know Brooker, I mean, my own personal climate isn't too much to ask for is it? Grin

I don't know what's going on in my stomach tonight. I have my pokey pains back again. They are nothing like AF pains at all maybe I need a massive fart

BrookerC · 13/07/2013 22:46

Send us some none stinky wind over love!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 13/07/2013 22:53

I don't think there's enough breeze out there to carry it Grin

resipsa · 13/07/2013 23:23

Maybe you will think what you will think about it all but with DD I had odd high up back pain (not like AF or wind!) from early on; I wasn't thinking about being P so dismissed it but in hindsight, it was something new for me...

NoMaybeAboutIt · 13/07/2013 23:26

Thank you Res. This is definite new!! I think you're just hyper aware when you know you have the embryo in you. Thank you for your reassuring words, I'm feeling a tad calmer now Smile

twinklestar2 · 13/07/2013 23:54

Rooting for you, nomaybe! Not sure how to comfort you but the odd spotting and twinge here and there is normal.

Lifeasafish · 14/07/2013 07:52

Wow - some serious crops being laid here! I'm impressed by 18 fertilised embies twinks.

motor hope you are ok, I'm fine - I just tend to be out from dawn until dusk when the weather is like this and still cannot post from my phone.

I'm sorry to hear you are anxious, it is horrid. DH is very anxious. Whereas I have ecided that the medical profession cannot do anything if my embie decides to leave (therefore it won't make a difference how early or not I notice) and this is the most pregnant I have ever been so I'm going to enjoy and believe.

Thats not to say I do not panic everytime I get a period cramp. Please remind me of all this is a week's time when I'm frantic!

Today is my OTD and it was positive. I do not have any tangible symptoms.

nomaybe the windies may be the progesterone, my tummy hasn't been right since I started on this journey. tmi constipated, but sat on toilet.. Right... Now. Multi tasking see Grin

I tested at 6dp5dt, after an ex colleague sent me a baby scan entitled 'someone wants to say hello' Hmm. (i know she wasn't to know and she's excited, but you can imagine how that felt)

brooker well done on the follies! Looking very promising.

tame hope it was a good wedding and that you had fun. Denise Welch go married esterday didn't she? Was it hers Grin I would love a glass of vino. It's pissing me off a bit as DH is refusing to drink as it isn't fair. I suspect his normal sense of equality will be back soon, but in the meantime he is depriving me of tasting/sipping his drink to ensure it isn't poisoned.

Hello to everyone else sorry I've not mentioned you all - I want to start cleaning so that the day is mine! I hope you are all enjoying the weather and soaking in some beautiful atmospheres.

Fish.x

nobeer · 14/07/2013 09:22

Fish What is it with these hormones and bloody (well hopefully not) constipation?! And congratulations on your positive! Can I ask you what does 6dp5dt mean, for future reference like?

maybe try not to worry too much, easier said than done I know. Can you ring your clinic today for some reassurance?

motor sorry you're feeling so anxious too. Sending hugs xx

I've got AF pains and a headache, but excited cos it means I'm a bit closer to FET! We might be looking at mid August. Not quite sure how it all works now but think the clinic ringing me back tomorrow to explain the next step.

Did anyone read the article in the Guardian about 35 years of IVF? Interesting stuff, and amazing how things have changed and improved. Originally women stayed in a portakabin near the clinic and they all bonded together and supported each other. This thread is a bit like that portakabin for me.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 14/07/2013 09:31

Brooker that's great news on EC Smile

Nobeer I read that article, I really laughed that they had to collect all their urine throughout the treatment. I think it must have been good staying in the portakabins with other people going through the treatment as back then they probably wouldn't have met other people going through infertility.

Maybe I hope your feeling better this morning.

I've been to the clinic for bloods and been told that even if I've responded well to down regging I've got to continue until fri/sat to accommodate the people on short protocol. I'm pissed off as I did ask last time I was there if my down reg might get extended due to other cycles and was told as I long as I had responded well I would only need to do it for 14 days.
