...then come and get your flipping baby here. We are a group of utterly priceless loons who are deadly serious about buying our babies at the highest price (or free if you're a lucky NHS bastard). There are no failures here

Well, we'll all be rooting for you. You sound pretty calm and resigned - are you okay really? Don't forget that this is a place you can come and be as fed up or upset as you feel, before you put on your brave face for the outside world.

twinklestar2 · 27/06/2013 17:06

My clinic make me angry! Just feel like sometimes they don't know their arse from their elbow!

In other news I'm def doing ICSI - well that's if I can actually start on Saturday. They rung to say one blood result was inconclusive and could I come in and redo it. Reminded them that I was in on Tues and have already redone the test. They said I have to wait for the result of that then before I can start! I said no I'm starting on Saturday so you better sort it by then. They're calling me tomorrow to confirm. Argh.

JuicySausage · 27/06/2013 17:07

Motor, you sound so lovely. Are you a serial killer? My prediction for you tomorrow is.............two 16-cells leading the pack Smile

Karbs, you Just. Never. Know. x

Big waves to rachel, flower, nokkie, mejust, cupcakes, fabuluce, raspberry, maybe, wish, drizzle, zammo and all the shy lurkers x

Pissing £500 gas/electricity bill from Eon for between Apr-Jun.
WHAT THE FECK?!!! Especially when I have solar pissing panels and haven't had the heating on! I've had a plumber in and out all day and may as well stick the phone to my mush cause I've been on it all god damn day! Anyway....

Karb I really hope tomorrow surprises you and you get what you want. If not, we will be here

Sort 'em out Twinks. Tell them to get their shit together! I'm so happy you get to start earlier

JuicySausage · 27/06/2013 17:14

Wish, I would be roaring with fury. Did you have some kind of reduction-in-bills guarantee from your solar panel company? Eco-arsewipes. You can't have used that much gas/leckie, surely? Angry

OP posts:
wishicouldhavealargeMalibu · 27/06/2013 17:17

Our solar panels heat our water so we're not using gas for that. We only use gas on the hob cause the heating hasn't been on for months! Our house is so warm anyway, its like the tropics at the moment, especially with the tumble dryer on.
The leccy is fine, its the amount of gas being used. The plumber said that amount of gas is industrial use and is ridiculous! I've been on the blower to Eon and they tried spouting some crap to get rid of me but they don't know how stubborn I am! Mwuaahahaha
I'm not paying it

wishicouldhavealargeMalibu · 27/06/2013 17:17

Oh and the panels came with the house... just a bonus Grin

JuicySausage · 27/06/2013 17:29

I don't know owt about sonar panels but I always welcome the opportunity to rage vicariously Smile

OP posts:
wishicouldhavealargeMalibu · 27/06/2013 17:38

If I'm honest I know bugger all about solar panels, they're just stuck to my house and are meant to make my bills cheaper

eurozammo · 27/06/2013 18:02

That's ridiculous, wish. It's 1/6th of an IVF (at university I measured things in pints, now I measure things in IVFs )

JuicySausage · 27/06/2013 18:05

Grin at Zammo

wishicouldhavealargeMalibu · 27/06/2013 18:16

Ha euro that made me laugh but sad all at the same time Smile Sad

Karbea · 27/06/2013 18:57

Bloody hell Euro how much did your ivf cost? £500 wouldn't buy a 6th at the Argc!

JuicySausage · 27/06/2013 19:32

The ARGC is outrageous

OP posts:
tametortie · 27/06/2013 19:35

How much is a cycle at the argc?? I know its expensive. I pay about 4500/5000 a cycle once I include drugs, extra for icsi and a scratch. Its a lot of money x

JuicySausage · 27/06/2013 20:45

I'm sure its £9k-a-cycle Shock

OP posts:
tametortie · 27/06/2013 20:55

tametortie · 27/06/2013 20:59

twink fab news that you are good to go, shit news that your clinic are pissing about!! What blood test is inconclusive??

wish that gas bill is ridiculous. Have you checked for a leak? Are you lighting street lamps?? Last thing you need at the mo Sad stay calm chick x

karbea good luck for the test. Keep the faith. Xxxxxx

tametortie · 27/06/2013 21:01

And karbea thanks for the pep talk earlier. Baby announcement at work made me really wobble today. I am ok now- will stop worrying and leave it to the clinic. I trust them x

tametortie · 27/06/2013 21:03

And yes I am having a little break, I won't cycle till September xxx

Pipbin · 27/06/2013 21:20

Will everyone on the telly stop with the fecking babies already. Even the sodding Argos poxy aliens are updiffed.

Well I got the dates through from the clinic today. I have my first scan in a month and I get weighed then too. My BMI is 29.5 and if it's above 30 when i get weighed then i get sent home!

Karbea · 27/06/2013 21:34

Tame I hope you are going to go out and get drunk, eat McDonald's and generally have a good time for a bit then.

I think my cycles have cost about £12-15k ish :/ tried not to think about it...

wishicouldhavealargeMalibu · 27/06/2013 21:34

I know what you mean pipbin. Everyone in soaps are preggo, baby stuff sale at tesco and asda, preg test adverts. It used to be cause it was on my mind but now it's just everywhere!

tame it really is the last thing I need cause DH is stressing about it and his mood is changing which gets to me. Typical!

Wow! 9k for a cycle? Do they grow the baby for you?

tametortie · 27/06/2013 21:40

pip that's harsh!!

Im having a little glass of red now but I can't eat McDonald's!! Grim!!
