wish sorry to see you are in pain EC can make you very sore for a while because the ovaries are so swollen. This is my take on the codeine situation- it depends what strength. If we are talking 8/500 then there isnt enough codeine to really do the embie any damage BUT there isn't enough codeine to really relieve pain either BUT just enough to give side effects. That is the official BNF line. Personally, I would avoid and if the pain is really bad, see your GP. Have you tried natural remedies- a massage from DH?? Let us know how you are getting on. P.S if you are talking 30/500, I also wouldnt bother. Its just too strong and after a hard sort after pregnancy, just not worth it xxx

Question: do I get annoyed at OH for having a couple of beers today even though I'm a about to start cycling in a few days? Considering he had quite a few - and cigarettes - on Saturday?

Twinkle my DH got very drunk the second day into my cycle I went absolutely ballistic! He drank all through the 72 days he was supposed to be dry and the results were pretty evident...

The thing is, what is done is done isn't it, and it's cumulative, I don't think drinking once or twice a pint or two is going to make. A difference, but doing this regularly ain't good!

Does he have sperm issues?

Yes he does although he gave up drinking for 3 months and smoking too and it never made a difference.

twinks I would go ballistic yes, but that's just me. If I'm going to quit everything and go through hell then he should at least stop drinking and smoking. Others wouldn't agree though so it's what's in your heart

My DH hasn't drunk all year and it made no difference whatsoever to his sample. So Mel B said to have a bit of red wine, no more than 2 glasses a week as it obviously isnt doing any harm. The sperm is shit regardless

euro lemon I also suffer badly with hormonal depression, to the point where I find it hard to speak to people some times- I literally shut down. Which is really odd because I am so chatty and sociable but for a few hours/days each month I can't function socially. I have been on many anti depressants over the years for it and hormonal treatments. DR made me question my own sanity. If it wasn't for my friends I think I would have done something daft. Its a very real issue that gets played down a lot but I suffered really badly this time and felt very alone.

Officially test on Saturday, I found two unopened preg tests today, so might test Friday... But I know it's negative.

DH has drunk again tonight, currently asleep, snoring on the sofa!

I did have pineapple juice though which is good for ivf!!

And H didn't eat any of his dinner, so all he has had is wine, funny he has hardly any and what he has funny shaped sperm!
Sorry I'm pissed off!

I dunno about that, it would have a lot of sugar which is bad for hormones ;)
