...then come and get your flipping baby here. We are a group of utterly priceless loons who are deadly serious about buying our babies at the highest price (or free if you're a lucky NHS bastard). There are no failures here

I've never heard that before. I'm not usually positive or negative before EC. Just a complete nervous wreck a couple of days before collection

FlowersBlown · 25/06/2013 16:32

Juicy that's brilliant!!

I had a good feeling!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 25/06/2013 16:35

Juicy that is amazing, amazing news! Well done old chap!

Euro I'm keeping everything crossed for you.

nobeer · 25/06/2013 16:40

Juicy Hoorah! What wonderful news!

resipsa · 25/06/2013 16:45

Joos fan-bloody-tastic. It was sounding good! You are now my heroine. Lucky bugger (do I mean you or the baby???). Grin

resipsa · 25/06/2013 16:50

motor I hope joos's news fills you with optimism. Any more news on yours?

JuicySausage · 25/06/2013 16:52

Aw, everyone is so ace on here. I never, ever thought it would be me being congratulated. You spend so long on these freds cheering others on whilst all the while feeling like wringing their necks when they get their BFPs (or is that just me?) This is proof that it does happen if you do the wheel barrow

The thing is, when others were getting pregnant around me I would wail "It's never going to happen!" Then, when ladies on the freds got BFNs I would still wail "See? It doesn't work for them! Why would it work for me?" I think we are so worn down by TTC and seeing white sticks and periods that we lose the ability to have rational hope. We don't think normally any more, do we? But that doesn't matter - 'cos it does still work, whether you think it can or not Smile

I'm sorry. I don't want to come across as preachy just because of this good news. I'm saying it doesn't matter how depressed you feel...you simply cannot know what's going to be. And that is good news X

Sorry. I sound completely patronising Sad

Not at all, you make total and utter sense Grin

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 25/06/2013 17:25

You lot can talk - swear - chat... How many of the 7 pages I missed do I need to read?

In case anyone wondered about our story, 34, TTC for three years now, unexplained, 3 natural IUI, first SO IUI BFP+MC at 7+4, 3 more SO IUI BFNs. Now LP IVF and murderously knackered DRing.

I see what I missed. Congrats juice. I reckon it/they should be called not-quite-a-turd. Wow and well done.

MotorcycleMama · 25/06/2013 17:33

JuicySausage you fucking star!! I am absolutely over the moon for you.
Congratulations. You've made me cry. You've also given me hope that this donor egg malarkey can work.

MotorcycleMama · 25/06/2013 17:35

resipsa yes, I am remaining positive. I am quite aware that every day it could go well, not so well, or downright badly. So far it has gone well, and I just pray that it continues that way.
How are you doing?

JuicySausage · 25/06/2013 17:40

Aw, fanks again, slags Smile

Motor, stay cool...it will happen X

Congrats on the PUPOs wish and zammo.

Karbea · 25/06/2013 18:02

Just saw 3 magpies, that's got to be a sign surely!

twinklestar2 · 25/06/2013 18:04

Grrrrr the stupid pharmacy hasn't given my injections that start from day 2, only the ones that start from day 6. I already had to leave work early today before the hospital closed, sooooo annoyed.

POAS when I got in. BFN. That's the hope of a last minute natural conception happening then.

twinklestar2 · 25/06/2013 18:05

I meant gone instead of then.

JuicySausage · 25/06/2013 18:08

Twinks, I know that feeling, but try to look ahead. Ignore the annoying small stuff. Let science do its miracles. Your mates are ace, by-the-way Smile

OP posts:
JuicySausage · 25/06/2013 18:09

Karb, that's the spirit! Do you pray? I'm praying for all of us

OP posts:
Karbea · 25/06/2013 18:18

Juicy I don't really, but I've been praying every night and talking to my dead grandparents.

JuicySausage · 25/06/2013 18:42

I don't talk to my dead grandparents specifically because the last time I visited them when they were alive my bonkers grandmother accused me of being my dad's girlfriend. I was ten Hmm

Whooptyfuckingwhoop that is amazeballs news Juice!!!!! Well done you!!!!GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

MotorcycleMama · 25/06/2013 19:18

euro I might be day 2 transfer as well, or possibly day 3 depending on how many of the 4 are still going tomorrow, and what grade they are. Stay positive - it's all good! Your clinic will do whatever it takes to maximise your chances, maybe because they are good people, definitely because their prosperity depends on their success rates.

NookNook · 25/06/2013 19:35

WHOOHOOO! Well done Juicy!!!!! So so so happy for you!

Euro Are you PUPO? I've missed too much today!
