Sorry BESH but I'm afraid I've started bleeding this afternoon. They can't fit me in for a scan until Friday morning so I'm in limbo.

Oh frank what do you mean by bleeding? Fucking Friday, that's ridiculous. Seconded not all bleeding is bad, my sister bled a fair bit with her first but I know that doesn't mean much. Handholding here too.

It's dark red blood, but there seems to be so much of it, enough to make me change a panty liner. The nurse was great and said the fact I don't have any pain is a good thing but they can't fit me in for a scan till Friday morning.

HWHNN is on a course all day so I can't get hold of him.

This is fucking unfair on you. It could be fine but torturing you like this, it's not right.

Thanks hags. My best friend is on her way over, bless her. I sent her a text asking if she could come over and she's on her way already. Haven't even told her what it's about.

Oh frank sorry about the bleeding and the stupid wait. I second that it does not need to mean anything. It is horrible though. No pain is good, my MC hurt a fair bit too. Great friend, if she's on her way already! Hang in there. Horrible to be so far apart from HWNN at times like this.

I had a lot of bleeding at about 8 weeks. Horrible red blood and it scared the living shit out of me. I had no pain or cramps though which was a good thing.

Thanks all, she's just left. She's made me feel a lot better as she went through something similar at the same stage in her pregnancy and she also has a miscarriage prior to that so was able to talk me through the difference between the two.

HWHNN has got permission to leave his course early and come home tomorrow so that he can be here for the scan on Friday morning.

My boss has also texted me to say not to come in for the rest of the week and to take it easy.

The bleeding has slowed right down, barely anything there when I wipe at the moment so I'm hoping that I've just had a massive freak out over nothing. I'll keep you all up to date x

Oh that's good Frank. It's not a freak out over nothing though - when you've waited so long to get diffed seeing blood is terrifying. I'm glad you're luffly friend could come and that HWHNN is coming home.
