Bunnygirlie · 18/06/2013 08:30

Come and join us elderly TTCers on the Sofa of Pity (SoP), Rug of Rage (RoR), the Pouffe of Possibility (PoP) or the Chaise Lounge of Limbo (CLoL) whilst trying to avoid the BubbleBath of Gloom(BoG)!

The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

Definitely a strong message there Boom. I've got to the point where I either feel productive or I don't. If I'm not feeling productive there's no point even trying as I won't get anywhere but I'll waste loads of time trying and get really resentful. Today is definitely an unproductive day. As soon as my phone is sorted I'm off out!
(A dangerous policy as I've got a mate staying over tonight as she's working nearby, so I really should pack my bag now - my class residential trip tomorrow, just one night away thankfully - rather than doing it very quickly in the morning and getting stressed!!)

Thundercatsarego · 10/07/2013 13:29

boom you're saying you look more like a peanut in Lycra than being tall with dark hair?!

What am I like then? Lion-o perhaps? Or the gorgeous cheetara? Hmmm maybe not!

Boomgoestheweasel · 10/07/2013 13:46

Oh...another FB announcement, 2nd baby on the way 'here we go again' Sad. This one's really upset me, don't know why because I don't know them that well and they're a lovely couple..and yet goodbye good mood (such as it was), hello wailing tantrum on the RoR!

Boomgoestheweasel · 10/07/2013 13:47

Thunder ....SNARF!

SidneyBristow · 10/07/2013 15:45

note to self, hide the Thundercats DVD set!

Spare I'm with everyone else, I can't see how an implantation problem would trigger an early AF. If anything it would be late. I think it happened to me once - v late, extremely heavy flow, but before I was PIMPing or anything so no way to know for sure. My advice: don't let yourself go down that road mentally. Less distressing to just think your cycle was a little off, and try again next month Thanks

boom maybe your Word has had enough & needs a break too? Maybe a bit of mindless TV is in order?

WTAF, 'here we go again'? In MN speak, "I'm sure they didn't mean to sound so rude" Hmm In Berry speak, I'd happily exchange a pregnancy for endless TTCing any day of the week. What's upsetting about things like that is that people never know how hard easy things like that can be, unless they're on the other side. Good for them, but distressing to those of us who have struggled.

Barking hope your phone gets sorted!

happy yes we are still cycle buddies, CD12 here and still High on CBFM. How's it going? Gearing up for daily shags so will be buttoning my less pleasant opinions on stressful topics for at least 2 weeks. DH will wish it was shag fortnight more often!! Wink Hoping now a FC referral is in the works, my body beats medical science to the punch.

happylass · 10/07/2013 16:06

Hey Sid. Cd12 here too and I usually OV cd11-13. DP left earlier for 4 nights away with work so hoping its already happened! Had massive temp rise this morning so it's looking promising th

Hey Sid. Cd12 here too and I usually OV cd11-13. DP left earlier for 4 nights away with work so hoping its already happened! Had massive temp rise this morning so it's looking promising though I've been ill the past few days so only time will tell! Fx the law of sod will come in to play and now we've all started the ball rolling medically we'll get our BFPs.

happylass · 10/07/2013 16:11

By the way Berries Tesco's ChokaBlok totally Minted is possibly the nicest thing I've ever tasted. Just inhaled ate a whole bar in 30 seconds flat. Lush Grin

Bunnygirlie · 10/07/2013 18:05

Helloooooooooooo!

hiya. Sorry everyone for dropping in and out. I do read and intend to post, then I start watching the telly and don't Grr get far.
I am intrigued by the visualising people have been doing though. I don't visualise anything, which is probably why I forget who said what.
What do you see me as? I know my name isn't all that descriptive so I'm intrigued!

Pipbin · 10/07/2013 20:02

Evening ladies.
I've felt I'm somewhat out of the TTCing loop right now as we are not actually DTD. I start with my first IVF injection tomorrow and I'm feeling rather anxious.

So, what have I missed. Who has had their BFP?

Bunnygirlie · 10/07/2013 20:21

Hey pip good to see you! TTC or not, we are Berry buds now!

Ooh ivf, scary and exciting.

No BFPs Sad

OP posts:
happylass · 10/07/2013 20:26

Hey Pip how exciting!! How long does the IVF process take? Keeping everything crossed for you - you may well be our next BFP.

BlindKitty · 10/07/2013 21:11

HEY guys! Grin

Just remembered bombastic peanut!!!

merk my friend swears by apple cider vinegar not that you're going to find any at the airport she reckons a table spoon every hour plus 250ml water when you have an attack

Just out of interest, what do I look like????

BlindKitty · 10/07/2013 21:15

pip afraid no good news in here! We've all especially me been a bit rubbish lately Sad. So no pressure but we're going to need to bfp from you if that's ok?!!

Pipbin · 10/07/2013 21:15

Well I start the injections tomorrow and assuming everything works as it should then egg collection should take place on the 12th of August, then they put an embryo back about 5 days later and its the good old TWW.

CatsCantFlyFast · 10/07/2013 21:28

Good luck Pip!

happylass · 10/07/2013 21:36

Sounds like you're next in the BFP line Pip and very rightly so!
Just had a positive OPK and DP left the country a few hours ago. Bugger!!

CharmingCats · 10/07/2013 21:47

blindkitty, I think you are a small cat wearing glasses, like moley from wind in the willows.
tally is a tall slim blonde wearing a patchwork quilt as a super hero cape.
barking is a definitely a husky dog.
boom is a meerkat.
merks is squirrel carrying a laptop and a gu pot.
happy is a smiling spaniel, a bit like boomdog.
sid is a marcia cross clone.
bunny is indeed a bunny.
Ha!

CharmingCats · 10/07/2013 21:50

boom, I'm curious about why they gave you progesterone and not metformin? I like the fact they felt you shouldn't have to wait around for naturally long cycles to start the clomid...wasn't suggested for me. Odd. Keep us posted, please.

Bunnygirlie · 10/07/2013 21:58

Oh wow pip it could happen soon for you! You seem to be the furthest Berry along the FC journey. I am only just waiting for me referral letter!

Anybody fancy an update list?!?

Bunny 33, TTC month 14, AF due 16th, awaiting FC referral letter

OP posts:
happylass · 10/07/2013 22:18

Love the comparison with boom dog Charming.

Bunny 33, TTC month 14, AF due 16th, awaiting FC referral letter
Happy 35 cycle 12, AF due 24th, awaiting tests before FC appointment. Last attempt at TTC this year Sad

CharmingCats · 10/07/2013 22:19

Please could you add me?

Charmingcats 32, ttc month 12, pcos, on metformin.

Fx pip

Boomgoestheweasel · 10/07/2013 22:27

Pip how very excitamalating! Sure there's a bit of anxiety mixed in but..this could be IT! Wooop!

charming I think they saw the look on my face when they said I had to wait for the next cycle. Plus I know what's what by now and asked if I could have it, by then I think I'd got them so flustered they would have prescribed anything I fancied to get me out of there! Mind you, metformin wasn't an option suggested to me...

Tally I had you down as a jockey in quilted silks...probably because you sound a bit like 'tallyho!' although then you'd be on a hunt and not the Grand National...hmm.

Kitty I'm sure I've already told you that you're a fluffy white cat in NHS specs?

Bunny a new list you say? Anything for you and your adorable curls!

Bunny 33, TTC month 14, AF due 16th, awaiting FC referral letter
Boom 31, meerkat, TTC month 15, 1mc, progesterone on the go, 1st cycle with clomid starts next week, expecting BFP about this time next month Grin

Boomgoestheweasel · 10/07/2013 22:30

Oh no, I can't bear it when the list goes wrong...

Charmingcats 32, ttc month 12, pcos, on metformin.
Bunny 33, TTC month 14, AF due 16th, awaiting FC referral letter
Boom 31, pcos, TTC month 15, 1mc, progesterone on the go, 1st cycle with clomid starts next week, expecting BFP about this time next month Grin
Happy 35 cycle 12, AF due 24th, awaiting tests before FC appointment. Last attempt at TTC this year Sad

Btw Charming, have I mentioned that you're Puss in Boots from Shrek?
