You don't have to be crazy to be on this thread but it helps

(Ladies, I thought I would jump in and start a non-sweary titled fred. Feel free to turn the air blue now!)

You will probably down reg quite quickly because you have been on the pill. Your ovaries will be very quiet already.

Lucky you- those down reg drugs are rank!

14 dpo is a pretty good time to poas BUT be prepared for a BFN because hormones may not be high enough.

I would do it but you saw the confusion it caused me!!

Any symptoms??

eurozammo · 19/06/2013 11:04

I'm in a right snit this morning. I'm sure the drugs aren't helping.

I had another scan. After 4 days of hardcore drugs use, there are two big follies. I could have done that without the drugs! (I've laid two eggs on a natural IUI cycle and have twins in the family so it's not a surprise). Grr. Should have stuck to my natural cycle plan. I'm not annoyed that I am not getting a shedload of eggs, because I never wanted that. Just that the taking of the drugs (which I hate) appears to have been entirely fruitless.

tametortie · 19/06/2013 11:42

Oh euro. Are there smaller follies not far behind??

Perhaps naturally this would have been a one follicle cycle so the drugs have pushed for 100% more follies??

2 eggs will be good though x

MotorcycleMama · 19/06/2013 13:41

Well, I've returned from the clinic. My womb lining is 8.3mm which is fine. The donor has 12- 14 follies, which they say is ideal, but of course they are shared between 2 of us, so I'm a bit anxious. Egg collection due Monday or Tuesday. Have a bag of progesterone suppositories to start when directed. Nothing to worry about in all of that really, but that isn't stopping me, as I'm sure you can imagine.
Forgive the lack of personals, I am, I assure you, watching the progress of each and every one of you avidly!

mejust · 19/06/2013 14:00

motor iv got 14 folllies so about the same i wouldnt want much more than that incase i over stimulate.its only natural you will worry we all are.

JuicySausage · 19/06/2013 14:34

Right. There are two awards to be dished out on this 'ere fred. The first one is to the gorgeous and brave Tortie. These aren't empty platitudes we're chucking at you, you know, love. Everyone here thinks your amazing and you are so important to us. We are here when things get tough Thanks X

The second award is for Richest Fucker On Mumsnet and that one goes to.................sit down please, zammo.........KARBEA! What the actual feck? You retired last year AND you've paid for two rounds of IVF at ARGH! Envy I did consider giving up work, Karbs, but my pimp said I'll never walk again if I do.

Lots of ladies about to lay: brilliant and very exciting. I wish you all the very best.

Mejust, you poor lamb. If it's not one thing it's t'other, but we are here for you all the way, lovely girl Thanks

Motor, I demand you cease your insensibilities right now! We got nine eggs, seven of which fertilised and six of which became embryos. By the time D-Day came we had four left but knew only two would make it. I reckon for anyone looking for success you only need one smashing top grade embie and the battle is almost won. Donor egg = very, very realistic chance of success X

Zammo, flipping heck! I can see why you're vexed but please see this positively - two embryos!

Expat, thanks for coming back, we really miss you when you go dark, you know? Very excited for you x

Fish, where the hell are you, my mermaidy friend?

Oh, and Motor, any libidinousness has well and truly gone now, in fact I would rather suck the spaff off a dress than have a screw.

Ladies, I need some reassurance, please. I know I'm a kidder most of the time but right now I am asking this seriously: can straining to get a massive obstinate turd out kill the embryos? Just before I got on the plane yesterday I felt the urge to poo immediately but when I got to the toilet it was stuck. Time was of the essence (late for flight) so I strained and pushed in a way that would've made Salt 'N Pepa proud Sad I am so afraid I pushed the embryos out. Surely pushing like that is as dangerous as lifting something heavy (which they advise you not to do)?

I'm sorry if you think I'm being absurd but it is already spoiling any hope I had Sad

tametortie · 19/06/2013 14:54

Im loving the award- thank you!! I would like to say a big thank you to my friends on the egg Fred on mumsnet etc etc....

juicy do not worry about your embryos falling out. Even when you lay a massive log. Think of them as 2 little sesame seeds in a jam sandwich. They ain't budging.

I am also impressed with karbea- retired? 2 cycles at argc? Good work!!

Things are moving slowly here Hmm its happening. But not very fast.

I have watched every sex and the city episode between the 2ww, bleeding and resting. I love those girls.

JuicySausage · 19/06/2013 15:05

Tortie, I have taken two minutes from my preposterously important work as a particle physicist at CERN to tell you that I am thinking of you all the time. Please don't become alarmed at the pain; it will pass, I promise. Massive squeeze.

Back to the Hadron Collider (sigh!)... xXx

tametortie · 19/06/2013 15:10

CERN??!! If you are going to make a job up, think of something more glamorous than bloody CERN!!

JuicySausage · 19/06/2013 15:23

There is no glamour to be had when one is this frighteningly intelligent

JuicySausage · 19/06/2013 15:23

...plus there's a top chippy just down the road.

tametortie · 19/06/2013 15:27

Im really fancying a chippy dinner tonight. Or a Chinese.

JuicySausage · 19/06/2013 15:29

I'm getting a bollocking great chicken kebab and chips from Zorba's
