Loving the new thread and reading your news.
Cd 45......
Enjoyed the reflexology session last week, going again n Tuesday. Floated home. Am cutting down on wheat, dairy and sugar with the view to eliminating very soon. Not feeling the benefit yet, as still been having some, but no bread this week. Adding pasta and milk to the list next week... Had a latte today...goodbye my friend.
Found a great beauty therapist who doesn't charge the earth - apart from a baby and a good hairdresser, that has been my holy grail.

Evenin' all

Just popping in quickly to wave at you all! Halfway through an incredibly dull essay...can't wait to no longer be a student, at my age it's undignified and I loathe essays. Just LOATHE them.

Thunder Just looked pob up. Errrm...suffice to say that that is not featuring anywhere in any of my activities!

barking step away from google! None of the advice it gives is ever good for anything other than worrying you. I know because I'm always doing it and therefore being a massive hypocrite telling you not to!

Charming boo to getting to the 40s. Never mind, I'll be joining you tomorrow!

Barking glad you're back on the bright side Smile

I know I've missed people out, but have to get back to bashing out a few thousand more words. Those of you on the Wine have one for me Wink

Re alcohol, my fc said no more than 7 units with or without clomid. I've tried to completely abstain but it just makes me more miserable. However, dh rolled his eyes when I changed my 'coke' to a 'vodka and coke' on plane and said 'its absolutely fine if you can live with the guilt' wtf?!!!! so I ordered another

Welcome home kitty

I was grounded last night by DP as I've been coming down with something all week and yesterday I was in the house wearing thermals, a hoody, a down gillet and a woolly hat and I was still cold. Fell asleep for a good 3 hours when I crawled into bed to get warm. So I wasn't allowed to go to our mate's bbq last night Sad . This morning I don't have a temperature any more but I do still have sore throat etc. Have a bike ride planned with 4 other girls that I've been really looking forward to. Leaving in an hour. Can't decide whether to just go for it or to stay in bed Confused .

So this has annoyed me before I've even got out of bed! Not just the theme of the thread but the ridiculous comments like 'if women had babies earlier in life then they'd be less cost to the NHS'. So, we should all not have a career/life and settle down with the first bloke that comes along just to save the country a bit of money?? When in fact I've been working full time for the last 12 years and paying thousands of pounds in taxes and think I fully deserve any help I need! Also who knows if we would have got upduffed any quicker 10 years ago? There are actually lots of women in hir 20s who have problems TTC. Grrrr.

happy I've already posted my tuppence worth on there on exactly the same lines! Who do we think is going to cost the state more overall - me with my older therefore allegedly more complicated pregnancy or DP's instadiffing 18 year old benefit & council house eligible niece?!

Anyway didn't KG get papped smoking when pg? Hardly a role model. The whole campaign is basically an advert for first response so I think that there should be a POAS boycott of FR.

Well my opinion is I have given the NHS 13 years of not going to the doctor much and not having a sickly child/many sickly children for them to look after compared to having then at 20. how my h money am u going to cost them now? hopefully not much more than I would have earlier. what difference does that make? ooh that has made me angry. I married dh at 27 and wasn't ready til 29. was I supposed to get duffed asap once I met him? good way of scaring him off too! ffs.Angry

Barking sorry you're feeling rough, did you go biking in the end?

Tally hope you're feeling better too!

Bunny hugs x

Hi puppy!

happy, frog I went off the deep end with that bloody campaign. Who does she think she is to swan around telling everyone else what not to do when she's done it herself, and with fag in gob to boot! Pot - kettle - black. Besides which I would happily have started trying years ago, lack of parter and then lack of willing partner held me up I'm afraid. How selfish of me to wait until I'm in a loving, stable relationship in which to raise my kids. Should I have lined up the one night stands, flushed the pill and stuck pins through the condoms instead? Grrr Angry

Anyway. Rant over. Nose back to essay grindstone...

Just throwing in my crazy idea on booze. Until u get a bfp the placenta hasn't formed therefore the little mini baby doesn't have access to your blood and all the alcohol so until you get a bfp I'd say there is no harm in a few bevies just keep hydrated Smile

boom had so much get-up-and -go from 4.00am that was strait up doing the washing, etc so left dh in bed. Now slumped on the sofa trying to get my sorry ass to sainsburys but can't seem to summon the energy! Will have to jump him before bed!

frog didn't know that ch was caught smoking. You see all the heavily pregnant chavs doing it outside the hospital where I have my fertility appointments. She's no better than them!

That article (and some of the posts on that thread) made me Angry Angry Angry Angry. I am not ttc at this age out of choice, and actually we moved a lot quicker than we would otherwise have done because I was incredibly aware of my age and knew it might not happen straight away so we needed to get going. We started ttc when I was 32 and we'd only been together just over 2 years. DP asked if I would prefer to be married first and I just said maybe in an ideal world but we didn't have time to put it off until after we'd managed to get that organised and done in case it didn't happen straight away for us! So glad I made that decision as we're now 18 months down the road and we could be just starting to try now and have the last 18 months still ahead of us, while watching all DP's friends have babies one after the other. We'll probably still end up getting married before pg at this rate Sad. I'm 34 next month and I'd really like to think I will be pg by the time I'm 35 given I started trying at 32!

Boom, thanks, yes I went biking but did 15 miles rather the planned 20, which I think was sensible!!

Got back and DP told me he thought our next door neighbour was pg again - she popped out the back door a bit later and yep, there's the obvious bump that until now had been hidden by layers of clothing in the colder weather. That'll be her 4th then Envy. They can't control the 3 that they've already got, you just hear them shouting all the time. She gets pg so ridiculously easy, I remember her telling me a couple of summers ago that she was thinking of having another baby and a few months later she announces she's pg. That one has only just turned 1 and she looks about 6 months gone at least with this one. Not fair!!!! Envy Now literally surrounded by pg women. She has to walk past our door with her three kids and bump to get out to the road as we all use the back doors on our bit. So right in my face every day. Sad

On a more positive note should be OV ing anytime now. Have DTD 6 times this cycle already (3 times in the last 24hrs - not normal in the happy household!!). So if I don't get upduffed this month there's no hope!!

Hi, please can I join the berries? A bit of background: I am 39 and have been TTC for about 15 months with DH (32). I am in the middle of a load of tests and have my HSG on Tuesday. Ultrasound last week showed an endometrial polyp which has probably been preventing implantation and needs to be removed although don't know yet when this will happen, hopefully it will be soon. Still going to make an effort with DTD but not holding out a lot of hope until this is sorted. Would be nice to natter and get support with some fellow berries.
