I hope bunny has made enough macaroons for the rest of us!

Feeling a little teary watching 'long lost family' on itv. So lovely to see adopted people reunited with their mum but so feel a bit sad for their adopted mums.'

thunder nope, allergy free I think so should be ok! Er I'm CD11 today so yeah, I suppose once hycosy is over tomorrow we'll be back on shag duty. Don't have SW though because don't ever have +OPKs and cycles are so random, we just dtd whenever! I don't think I ovulate anyway, counting on the docs giving us something. We did go through a period of trying EOD but when months go by between AFs it gets a bit wearing...

bunny seriously, you made macaroons and you're not offering them around? Shame on you

love the glucksmerz! I need this word in my life. I can't admit I feel like it in RL let alone be able to sum it up like that.

boom what a wicked word, Gluckschmerz, I am so incorporating this into the next thread!

bunny hope the sausage injury will not prevent the filling of said macaroons...

Isn't it a great word! Totally sums up my mood tonight!

thunder 5 to 6 days of AF here.

And thanks MN for advertising a maternity wear website with a big bump photo and the tagline 'style for your bump' at the side of a conception thread. Just lovely Angry. I thought fb was bad enough giving me 'fertility treatment abroad' adverts, but I really don't need big f8cking bumps in my face when I come on here feeling really upset about still NOT having one. This is supposed to be my BUMP FREE SAFE PLACE Angry.

Off to bed. Not happy as DP was supposed to be finally contributing to the California planning tonight. He found 3 campsites then went off to the pub saying he'd book them tomorrow. As there seems to be a silly registration process I said I'd book them as I was already registered with the same site - only he'd only got one specific campsite on the list, the other two he said were 'the ones in the lonely planet guide', only he'd got the 'long day walk' down as what the guidebook described as a '3 day strenuous hike' and the bit he particularly wanted to do was in the middle, so a campsite at one end or the other would not be any good, but I've spent an hour not finding a suitable one. Grrr. I should have left it and passed it back as soon as I realised he hadn't actually done the job properly, instead of wasting an hour when I've done the other 3 weeks of planning anyway, and these are the 3 nights that were his to sort out!!!!!

kitty you did say I was allowed to whinge... And I can't believe I missed long lost family while not booking the campsites that DP was supposed to be booking!!!

Boom I'm sure yours will be absolutely fine. As my mother said when I told her what happened 'Well you know what you're like with your allergies, it's just another to add to the list'. What??!? I get hayfever and I'm allergic to shellfish, it hardly makes me a freak?!

It's been a busy couple of days, I can hardly keep up! Think I am the last woman standing in terms of AF's arrival this week. Sorry she's shown up berries.

Was feeling a bit positive this morning as haven't had any pre-AF symptoms but think they may just be starting to creep in. I had smiley OPKs 13 and 14 days ago so puzzled that I haven't had pre-AF symptoms yet which was why I was quietly getting my hopes up. Who knows, I'll give it until Weds but think I'll know either way tomorrow.

Try not to worry about the Hycosy Boom. I took a couple of painkillers before and was gardening an hour afterwards!

AF tends to be around 6 days for me Thunder and I also thought it was fairly normal.

Why are you having dildocam tomorrow Barking? When I had my ultrasound last month they did a regular one first and then said they wanted to do the vaginal one. I mentioned that I was CD2 and the guy said he'd prefer to test a few days later as things could be seen more clearly at that point in the cycle so was rescanned on CD5. I think the sonographer maybe saw my endometrial polyp from the regular scan but wanted to confirm when my uterus wasn't so thick.

Enjoying the hols so far in Cornwall although weather being a bit rubbish. Looked very windswept and interesting yesterday after waiting for 6 hours at Land's End for DH and 500ish other cyclists to finish their 9 day ride from John O'Groats. Amazing what they've achieved, I am in awe.

Gillster, it's Wednesday. The FC clinic wanted the HSG and the dildocam done before I saw the consultant. I assume the results of both then dictate the next steps. They routinely book the dildocam immediately before the consultant appointment to avoid you having to come in on two separate occasions. There's plenty I've found through google about it not mattering when in the cycle they're done, and I've been given no information to call and cancel in the result of AF showing.

AF has turned up, just for a change! Should have known it was impossible to symptom spot by now. Well at least I have an appointment in 2 weeks to get the ball rolling again. Also DH said that friend in States is getting married on 28th December so at least I'll be able to go to that now. I'm looking for the silver linings but I'm having to look very hard! Given that my birthday is in March, I think this was the last chance to at least pop one out in my 30s. Sad
