Oh and sorry, didn't mean to ignore everyone!

charming glad you see it the way I do! I don't expect acu to fix all my issues, but it might help improve things a bit, and if it makes me feel better where's the harm? How long have you been having reflexology now? Is it just feet? I'm a bit funny about feet so maybe that wouldn't be for me!

barking sorry you're stuck inside. I'm actually supposed to be writing my dissertation but instead I'm searching for potential new woofers on the Dog's Trust website. There's a gorgeous collie cross that I'm dying to phone up about!!

happylass · 28/05/2013 15:07

So sorry you've been upset Boom. I understand how you're feeling but you musn't blame yourself. Have some Brew and Flowers.
Wedding planning is going well - thanks for asking! Venue, registrar, cars, photographer, cake, flowers and DJ all sorted. Dress shopping next but going to leave that until August when I'm off school so I'll have more time because I'm a fussy bugger
Plan for today was gym, revision and reports. So far I've defrosted the freezer and had a power hour. Now I need to do a massive food shop as cupboards are bare. Plan not going too well then!

MrsB00Mbastic · 28/05/2013 15:37

Ha happy thanks for the timely wang! Ooh sounds like plans are going well. Wedding dress shopping is great, although I felt like a Muriel's Wedding-style fraud when we went, even though I really was getting married!

My plans for today included acupuncture, dissertation, cleaning the bathroom, removing all my revision junk from the living room where it's been festering for two weeks, and going for a run. Instead I made (and ate) loads of dips, and started searching for rescue dogs online. Can't believe it's £100 to rehome a dog! (Ours came to us through a friend so I've never done it 'officially' before) Makes sense I suppose as they're already chipped/neutered etc but OOF..

barkingtreefrog · 28/05/2013 16:23

I can't believe you made me go on the Dogs Trust site!!! I want all the collie crosses!!!! Grin

OP posts:
barkingtreefrog · 28/05/2013 16:24

So... which one do you want then? Spill!! Seeing as I've got the website open now an' all....

MrsB00Mbastic · 28/05/2013 16:28

Haha! Sorry barking, you're on the slippery slope now! I want Angus, he's so gorgeous AND he's got a cool name!

MrsB00Mbastic · 28/05/2013 16:30

Although he needs an adult only home apparently...well no problems there at the moment ha!

MrsB00Mbastic · 28/05/2013 16:31

Spud is pretty gorgeous too though...

barkingtreefrog · 28/05/2013 16:47

They're both lovely. Looking on that site just makes me want to quit work and take them all home though...
My dog is a black & white collie x spaniel. I didn't used to be a dog lover but have no idea how I'd cope without him now, I really miss him if we go away for a week and have to leave him behind!

Eee there's quite a gang of us yorkshire lasses on'ere int there? (Spot the try hard yorkshire-but-actually-from-the-midlands lass - not sure what my accent is...)

I went on the dogs trust website a while back when I got my af one month and it made me all gooey-eyed. Dh said if we weren't pg in 6 mths he might come round to the idea Smile he's not normally a big fan of the idea of having a pet...

Bunnygirlie · 28/05/2013 20:18

Just catching up.....

boom that's rubbish, DH and I have had many squabbles about TTC but just about me pressurising him and being a narky cow when AF arrives. I have been having monthly reflexology apps since December, I started with 4weekly sessions so I've spent quite a bit too but it makes me feel in control a teeny bit and I feel better for having them so i know what you mean.

happy I was surprised I didn't feel completely devastated getting to 12 months this month, it was weird!

puppy sorry witch arrived!

boom have a very late sausage wang from me!

I sponsor a dogs trust pooch! We have agreed we will wait to get one till I am part time, with a child! Like that is ever going to happen Hmm

BlindKitty · 28/05/2013 20:30

aquarius I don't know how I'd have survived without my cat these last 2 years. She's my absolute world Smile

boom vomming cat is fine, although hasn't vommed on anyone's carpet for a while. Covered in mud atm from digging in the garden!

barking I clearly missed you off on purpose as you're bound to be preggers soon!!!

So met my pregnant friend tonight and did all the pregnancy chit chat, looking at scans etc....and then bam...I burst into tears in the restaurant Blush. So annoyed with myself! Apart from with you guys and dh I generally hold it all together. Now I bet she'll constantly feel like she's reading on egg shells!

BlindKitty · 28/05/2013 21:17

Or treading haha

Bunnygirlie · 28/05/2013 21:18

Oh kitty hugs! Did your friend already know you were TTC?

Have you all read about the baby in China, weird how we are all so desparate for a baby and this was flushed down the toilet Sad so sad

BlindKitty · 28/05/2013 21:42

bunny yeh and tbf I'm normally fine ish with the exception of bikini bump pictures, etc

The baby story is horrendous! I'd love to be his mummy! X

Aquarius1 · 28/05/2013 21:52

[.... daydreams about working part time and having cat / dog / baby ....]

Kitty poor you - it's good to have a cry though - hope you felt better after

MrsB00Mbastic · 28/05/2013 22:09

Oh I saw that baby in the drain story bunny and couldn't bear it! I can kind of understand that it's obviously an act of desperation but the pictures were just heartbreaking, that poor baby Sad Sad Sad

kitty sorry you had a bit of a public meltdown. It's bound to happen though, it's a lot of emotion to keep bottled up all the time, got to come out somewhere. I'm sure she'll understand!

barking I wasn't planning on ever being a dog owner either but adore our springer. She really needs a buddy though, she's a bit antisocial...I can see a weekend trip to the dogs trust coming on soon!

PuppyMummy · 28/05/2013 22:19

Yorkshire here too! And have a fur-baby spaniel! Crazzzzyyy but my baby!

BlindKitty · 28/05/2013 22:37

Thanks aquarius and boom. Glad I've got it out of my system. No more meltdowns for a while I promise! I defo need bitch slapping with the sausage tonight!

puppy I think if we ever get a dog we'll get a spaniel. I live their big floppy ears and nice natures

BlindKitty · 28/05/2013 22:38

*love

Bunnygirlie · 28/05/2013 22:38

So most berries are either teachers or dog owners or from Yorkshire, or all 3 LOL

I'm not a teacher, I'm from Gloucestershire and I have cats and chickens lol

Tallyra · 28/05/2013 23:52

Well I have a dog and work in a school but live in Kent.
I've spent the day teaching 2 kids to sew, taking ferret back to vet and collecting him, going to my quilting group and then taking dog to the park in the dark and throwing golf balls and not actually having time to eat the dinner I cooked when the girls were here. I need sleep.

please could you add me to the list?

Tallyra, 33, TTC for about 3yrs. 3 mmc, with hg. Appt with fc next week to see what they have to offer test-wise.

Tallyra · 29/05/2013 01:00

now another ferret has escaped for the 3rd night running and we can't figure out how, and the sick one cost us another hundred quid and is still throwing up his meds. if we can't look after a bloody small animal how the hell will we cope with a child?
