ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Oh blimming heck there's a lot of late ertds/poss bfps going on here at the moment! I'm now 1 day late, but actually 4 days late if I calculate my average cycle without the freaky long one messing up numbers boobs still sore and feel bigger than usual, which is exciting as they are generally not my best feature as someone else got my share! Might test again tomorrow but can't really bear the sight of another bfn.

bear I want to give you big squeeze. Don't ever apologise for being down on here. This is the place where you don't have to hold it together and pretend you feel fine. What you are dealing with is really really hard and you are doing amazingly and we're all here for you and we will be right up to the day you hold your baby in your arms, because you will, we all will, but til then, we're all here to hold each others hands through this.

Essie I really hope you get your bfp - although if your boobs are getting bigger for no good reason then that is definitely a bonus! Although not good to hear you've sprained yer ankle - there's a reason we become less nimble as we get older, so we're not tempted to over exert ourselves on children's play equipment!

I spent the day chasing after DS1 on the beach which is always fun and he was pretty much asleep before I could finish washing the sand out of his hair - the only thing I have to contend with are the sandy poos. I'm not sure at what point sand doesn't become desirable to eat.

I'm also back on paleo whole 30 from today, I need to be back to my fighting weight before my girls trip to Toronto at the end of the month - time to get my act together!

Haha stroke - sandy poos - gross! How old is DS?

So today is cd32, I usually have 28 day cycles. Not tested since Sat, and boobs still sore, but now I've got EWCM today so who knows whats going on?!

Ankle better this morning thank goodness! Actually got quite worried last night as it swelled up frighteningly while I was watching countryfile, but seems to have gone down now.

Anyone else tested recently?

Ps Countryfile is my guilty pleasure, I love it. It feels wrong to admit it. It's so wholesome, like visiting old folks or helping with the scouts. I feel impelled to eat biscuits and read a gossip mag to balance things out.

Right, holiday was great but now back to the daily grind which for me means going to bloody Cuba for the night, Gah. But I can eek out my leave till tomoz night at least. Husband had to go back today and it's his birthday, he's a bit miffed haha.
On the JSing front, I managed to get 10 days in, sometimes with 2 times, was so much fun (epically as the hotel we're in has a free porn channel)!
It was my fertile week so I pretty much did all I can do so fingers crossed.
Already got sore nips, backache and those cramps but I get that every blinking month before ERTD so I'll have to wait and see I guess.
Though I'm exhausted, like literally can't keep my eyes open (but I'm ok to surf on MN of course), but that could be the horrific jet lag.

We met a couple in their 60s whilst away who were asking why after 12 years being together and 5 years of marriage, why we didn't have rugrats. She got onto badgering the husband who bless, was saying 'we're trying etc' and making him blush. As we were leaving they had bought us a baby's t shirt and hat and told us to get on with it.
I teared up, it was so lovely. I'd love to let them know that we'd finally cracked it. But due to me feeling the same as I do every month, I don't think this is it. (though a whole day of heartburn with nothing touching it got me excited)...

This has really cheered me up, just mc at the weekend and this is the first thing to make me laugh - Thank you

TTC: Well I ran out of pills in about December, couldn't be arsed to go back for a repeat prescription and we sort of used that as an excuse to start TTC, but in the true spirit of the JS way of not really doing anything else about it!

Minion, holiday sounds fun. Bless the cute little old couple. We had a bit of that at the weekend at the wedding. Quite a few oldies we hadn't seen in a while kept asking what the hold up was. I trotted out my stock line about how it looks like hard work so we're not in any hurry.

For those hating the 2ww, if it's any consolation (I know it's not), the wait for the 12 week scan is AGONY. Every twinge feels like the end is nigh. I have a week left to go, and no hair or fingernails left .

well I have been an incontrollable emotional wreck today and I don't really know why! and after last month's mad symptom spotting I'm not allowing myself to think of it as a symptom, especially as only 7dpo today. I just feel strong enough to face another bfn. I have a girly spa weekend with some friends this weekend so hopefully that will take my mind off TTC.

I'm approx. 10 days into the 2ww and it is driving me mad. Especially as today I can't help but symptom spot. Had little cramps, craving salty foods and serious fatigue and constipation

Could really be nothing or maybe even Ertd.

I bought myself a new copy of Mario kart Wii (ds scratched mine) so plan to have a race on that everytime I get all impatient for end of 2ww.

TTC since: June 2012 (started on our wedding night), thought it was time to give our DS a sibling. Tried for 9 months before I got a BFP. Ended in MMC :-( now JS with intent but pretty sure my ERTD is coming as haven't had one yet since MMC. Just hope it don't take 9 months this time x
