face why don't you just cheat on her this one time? Like you say your fridge takes loads of upkeep and you'll need another trim soon, by which time you'll feel loads more comfortable with the pregnancy?

scarlett not one to normally find animals dressed up amusing but there was the CUTEST pug on hol. Sits on a bar stool wearing a basketball vest. Clearly the owners use him to get customers to go in but afraid it worked!!!! Seemed perfectly happy though with everyone fussing over him all the time.
No letter I'm afraid but I was getting my hopes up with all your iui talk. Tbf they did say it will be June. Any more symptoms?

kitty I think I will. be nice to go to a salon again I think anyway, more of a treat. bets its a lot more than the 20 quid I give h though.
sometimes people just don't realise how difficult that question about having kids can be.
oh I luffs a dog in clothes (i know I know) I can't help myself! my mum,has a westie who has a fair few items we love to dress her up in. I love the little hooded dressing gown she has sooo cute. its never bothered her wearing clothes I think she quite likes it. Grin

face my friend used to have a border collie who used to LOVE wearing a bandana around his neck (probably not very safe but hey ho). He used to sulk when you took it off!!!

kittymy fridge takes loads off upkeep, I keep eating everything in it! Grin

Re hairdressers, I had a similar thing with mine but more because I had talked to her about the IVF and everything, it's all she wanted to talk about Hmm last time it failed I text her and said it hadn't worked but I dont really want to talk about it and she seems to have got the message - maybe you could let her know you've had a couple of disappointments lately but you don't want to discuss it [i know disappointment doesn't even touch it but it saves getting into too involved a conversation]

haha brilliant typo and I didn't even notice!
I'm tempted to cheat on h this once and then after that take scarletts approach. I don't necessarily mind talking about these things but it can be a bit awkward and I get teary so best avoided really. its such a shame but I do tend to avoid people when im pregnant just because the questioning makes things difficult. 'why aren't you drinking' etc etc there's only so many times I can say antibiotics. I wish could drive just to have that as an excuse.

Def far too early for you though - maybe try wednesday if you're up to it? Have they given you progesterone to take?

trix it was an ic 10miu, consoling myself with the thought that implantation can happen up to day 10 - if the speed my follies took to grow this month is anything to go by then its prob still mooching down the tube taking in all the sights on the way Hmm

scarlett I have just snorted coffee at reading that we may have synchropeed! I too used an IC (oh the shame!) but also a CBFM stick to see what my oestrogen levels are doing. I have very expensive habits!

I'm in Camp Cringe when it comes to dressing dogs up, I'm afraid. I even find it weird when people insist on putting coats on dogs because it's a little bit chilly or rainy. I can understand it with greyhounds because they genuinely feel the cold very easily but ffs a golden retriever does not need a tartan lined frigging wax jacket on!

cartoon thanks for clarifying about fridge/fringe - no matter how many times I read kitty's post I kept reading fringe and had no idea why scarlett was suddenly talking about her fridge

My fridge is my favourite household appliance... It holds my wine when I'm allowed to drink it, sob and my cheese Grin

My fringe I grew out a year or two ago and can't bc bothered with the upkeep to have cut back in again Grin

Ps They haven't given me progesterone this time, I suspect because you don't down reg they expect you to produce your own? I have a full box left over from last IVF but I'm saving that in case we pay for a cycle of mild IVF later this year - may make me a tightwad but I'm stockpiling as many drugs as I can for that!

Had my scan this morning, my fibroid is down from 40mm to 10mm, not sure if this is due to the downregging or all the vit d I've been taking, but its good anyway. I learnt how to stab myself and I start on wed :o

Will catch up more later as I'm sitting on a train next to a colleague and don't really want him to get nos about what I'm writing Blush

Report
ControlGeek · 20/05/2013 13:01

beedle well done! How long have you been taking the vit D for? Good luck with the stabbing, at least you haven't had to do that for the DR too.

scarlett not a tightwad at all, I think it is very sensible and would def have done the same myself. There is no point paying for more than you have to. What is mild IVF? Is that like normal IVF but without the stims?

Hullo

Sooooo... over on the FB group we're having a little cute-off photo sharing thang. Mainly DCs at the mo', although one ball of fluffy gorgeousness is doing sterling work for the fur babies Grin

If anyone has lovely photos of cuteness, whether human baby (related if poss, for privacy reasons!), furry or even an exceptionally hot cute DP/H, do come along and join in with the squee-feet.

My poor shrivelled old ovaries have been positively twanging all morning, I'm hoping for a slew of BFP's off the back of this! Grin
