NoMaybeAboutIt · 11/06/2013 08:50

Oh and Gen 5 months?! No way Shock hope you are all doing well x

keepitgoing · 11/06/2013 08:53

solars, I had cramping before and after bfp. Xxxx

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 11/06/2013 09:40

Cartoon that's wonderful news. How have you been feeling?

Solars I really don't want anyone to know the exact dates either. It's just too much pressure either way. How are you feeling?

Kitty I know how frustrating the waiting is. I hope you have lots going on over the summer to keep you busy.

Well I need lots of brooking. AF turned up yesterday. The clinic called me this morning and I've now got a scan and bloods booked for tomorrow afternoon. If the results are ok, I will have my teach on the 1st July. I'm meant to be on long protocol which I assume would start on day 21 which is the 1st July. I asked the nurse would I be starting down regulation straight after teach but she didn't seem to understand me so ill have to ask tomorrow when I go in.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 11/06/2013 09:43

TMI alert-I'm worried about the scan as I've never had one so early in my cycle. My AF is quite heavy for the first few days so I'm unsure what I should do about sanitary wear Blush any advice brookers?

NoMaybeAboutIt · 11/06/2013 10:06

Oh Cups this is amazing news!!!! Hurrah!! As for the scan, I wouldn't worry, I had my first one early on too, really wasn't too bad. You need to have a wee before the scan anyway, so you could always sort yourself out then?

LP does start on day 21. Maybe she will give you your first jab? I'm so excited for you. How are you feeling?

ControlGeek · 11/06/2013 10:08

Am on phone so apola for imp gingers and fprgetting what I have just read!

Cups that is fabulous, wonderful news! So pleased your clinic didn't dare turn ypu sown ahain. Their processes could do with a bit of revision, you'd think they'd understand how much extra stress they are causing people.

Gen I can't believe five minths has gome by already! Congratulations :)

Solars omg OTD has come round so quickly. You are so brave to not be testing yourself.Try not to worry too much abput other people knowing the dates, I am sure they will understand that this is an incredibly private time for you and dh, regardless of the outcome (which will be a bfp), and will give you whatever time you need. So sorry about your cycle buddy's news.

Maybe well done on cd1, I am sure the dr drugs probably had something to do eumith it baing delayd.

My froend percy and his mates are still eith me so will probably be in bed most of the day again. Si much for a ni e week off work :(

V faint line on ic the nmorning, maybe a tiny bit stronger than my evaps but came up within the time limit. Nada on morrisons own. Only habe 6 ics left. If I putan order in today I wonder if it will arrive by the weekend?

When did everyone else start cranping? I've been having mild ones all night. Oddly enough I feel less pg than the months where we're just dtd. Need to ring clinic today to find out if 6cell made it to blastocyst stage.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 11/06/2013 10:27

Geek I love your imp gingers Grin. Fingers crossed your other embie is doing well. I'm going to assign Percy as a 'lucky pile'. Like a mascot. I love your science experiments. I def reckon your delivery would arrive at the weekend. The only tests I have in the house are 2 CBDs. I haven't PIACC for over a year now Grin

Solars · 11/06/2013 11:00

Fantastic news Cups Im so happy for you that you get to start!! Don't worry about the scan, i'm sure they are used to it, I had to have a scan early in my cycle too. Brooking all goes well tomorrow afternoon!

Keep that's very encouraging.

Maybe & Cups I'm feeling ok so far, have been busy with work this morning and still have a fair bit more to do today which is good. Not sure how i'll be this evening though or waiting for the call tomorrow Confused

Geek I know I can't believe it either, we had another discussion last night about testing today but DH is still saying no, which suits me to keep the illusion a little longer. I was however tempted to PIAR with an opk this morning. What will be will be and I keep thinking that at least the clinic will have gathered a lot of information for the next cycle should we need it. Hope your new found friends bugger off soon!

keepitgoing · 11/06/2013 11:14

Yay cups!!! I think go for a wee, take out tampon, have pad, wipe self with pad just before taking off knickers. They've seen it all and worse before...

solars pretty much everyone freaks out about cramping around bfp time.

Poor geek. I think I had cramps maybe two days post 5dt.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 11/06/2013 11:33

Thanks everyone Smile I wasn't feeling excited tbh but DH is pretty excited. He wanted to take time off work to come for the scan tomorrow but I've told him there is no point. He's booked time off for the teach, I think he actually wants to stab me! I don't think ill need him to do any injections but I might have to let him so he feels involved Grin

Solars well done for resisting the urge to test. I'm brooking for a lovely hard earned BFP for you and MrS tomorrow.

Geek that is the worst case of imp fingers I have ever read Shock I forgot to send my sympathies over Percy. I am unfortunately no stranger to the little blighters. I've even been admitted to hospital once with a particularly painful totally embarrassing episode Confused

TheLittleFriend · 11/06/2013 12:04

Really pleased to hear you're starting this cycle Cups.

And great scan news Trix.

Super sonic brooking for solars tomorrow morning Smile

NoMaybeAboutIt · 11/06/2013 12:32

Little I must say, I was by no means referring to you when talking about Geek's little friend Wink

That's lovely of MrC Cups. I'm so pleased I don't mind stabbing myself, MrM says there is no way he could've done it wuss

ControlGeek · 11/06/2013 12:46

Cups that's so sweet of mrc. Mrg came to all pf my appointments but that's mainly because I don't drive and the clinic is miles from a train station. Do as the othrs have said before the scan. At my clinic they were ecer so gentle and even apologosed for making me bleed... Af was in town, what dis they expect?

SweetieTime · 11/06/2013 13:06

Solars I second what keep says about cramping. I had cramps for ages, I was convinced af was about to turn up. I even asked the nurse at my 7 week scan. she said it is a combination of the progesterone and everything stretching to make room for embies. I wouldn't see it as a bad thing. Good luck for tomorrow.

Cup exciting that you are starting this time. You will be happily jabbing away before you know it. My DH came with me to the teach too but never did any of my jabs. He did have to sit with me once for my first certrotide jab on the instructions of the clinic.

Geek hope Percy and his mates leave you alone very soon. Fingers crossed that the other embies get to blasto

BeedlesPineNeedles · 11/06/2013 13:09

cups Fab news they have accepted you :o
Are your cycles particularly long/short? Cos my day 21 start was actually CD 18 (due to my ridiculously short cycles). Don't want to worry you, and I really hope they let you start straight away but I don't want your hopes to be crushed on the day.
MrB came to virtually all my appointments, and even stabbed himself with one of my spare (unused!) needles, just to see what it felt like :o

Love the imps fingers geek hope you feel better soon.

Still feeling rather periody (no bleeding though) but generally I'm feeling OK, sometimes I even manage to work for 5 mins without thinking about everything :o

solars I have everything crossed for tomorrow. maybe I misunderstood but are you just going to wait for the call from the clinic rather than POAS at home first Shock

NoMaybeAboutIt · 11/06/2013 13:14

Beedle, what is your clinics policy with testing, I have forgotten?

I think you are being very calm Solars. The fact you are managing to get work done is impressive!

How are you feeling Sweetie?

BeedlesPineNeedles · 11/06/2013 13:41

maybe with my clinic its POAS (my own stick, they don't even provide one, but I have a special brookers endorsed FRER from olives) and then ring them with the result. After that whether its positive or negative I have no idea but I only have enough progesterone gel to last me until test day, so I hope they sort out a prescription for more nice and quickly.

I was going to ask them what happens when we went for ET but they just sent me into get changed, then we had a 5 min discussion on how badly my eggs had fertilised and did we want to put 2 back, then up on the bed for ET, hop down again get changed and go home. No time for any discussion on what happens next Shock

NoMaybeAboutIt · 11/06/2013 13:45

Oh Beedles that sounded very rushed! Is it a language thing do you think? That's the same policy as my clinic. Though I have 30 days supply of Crinone. I think they ask you back for a very early scan a few weeks later

BeedlesPineNeedles · 11/06/2013 13:51

I don't think so, the actual EC and transfer we did in English :o They were running a bit late and I didn't realise until it was too late that they we were just going straight home with no chánce to ask any more questions. To be honest we were both a bit shocked at the poor fertilistation rate that we didn't really think about anything else at the time.

I think they will do a scan at 7 weeks, but I can't find anything written down about that - it had better not be 8 weeks as I'll be away!

BeedlesPineNeedles · 11/06/2013 13:53

Oh and I'm not worried about getting another crinone prescription, I'll be able to pick it up from any pharmacy that stocks it about 5 mins after the dr has written it. Its all done in a centralised system so I won't actually need to go to the hospital

NoMaybeAboutIt · 11/06/2013 14:09

Ah, that's good. I totally understand being shocked. It's always afterwards that all the questions come

SweetieTime · 11/06/2013 14:12

I have had a bit of a panic today as I lost my schedule for weening of the meds. I only had it Friday but it has now disappeared. I rang the clinic and they told me over the phone.

I am doing great I am one of the lucky ones who wasn't sick. I felt a bit sick two days in a row and that was it. All the months spent symptom spotting and now I have very few. I am not complaining I know I am very lucky.
Cannot wait for you all to be getting your BFPs and joining us over on the other thread.
Hugs to each and every one of you

Solars · 11/06/2013 14:16

Yep Beedle they've already given me a blood form so I need to go the clinic in the morning, get my bloods taken and then wait for them to call me with the results, from what I've read it can take 3-4 hours before they call you! I like that centralised system for your prescriptions what a lot of hassle that must save! Could you ring the clinic now to find out what happens?

Thanks Little & Sweetie And Sweetie how lucky being symptom free! How was your recent scan?

If i didn't have work Maybe I think I'd be climbing up the walls by now!

Cups DH started off with doing the jabs for me in my first cycle so he felt he was involved and then he kept hurting me by going through blood vessels and putting it in at strange angles and giving me bruises and he's a dr so I took back control!

solars you have nerves of steel :o

DinoSnores · 11/06/2013 14:48

Just popping in to Brook for a good result for Solars tomorrow. You sound very, very calm!
