First month TTC #2. Got very lucky with DC1 and got a BFP on second cycle. Hoping we'll be as lucky this time round - haven't ever used OPKs but am pretty confident I know the signs from my body around ovulation - CM and I definitely feel ovulation pains. We managed to DTD for 5 days in a row ahead of and just after ovulation so I'm ready for a rest now that the 2WW is here. Hoping for a BFP on 15th June.

Feeling yeuch this evening and very headachy. felt a bit crampy and bloated this morning so I'm hoping it's not af on her way early.

Well this now seems like the day my period should have arrived based on when the clear blues said I ovulated but multiple BFNs. I'm hoping by posting here this might make make her hurry up.

I made myself a nice cup of tea to chill out and I had to nip out of the flat for a bit unexpectedly. I came home to find my mug of tea was just a mug and no tea, my fault for leaving it where the dog could reach it!

I just did another ovulation test and got yet another faint line, however also just found out that there is always some LH present in your pee so some women will get a faint line every single day. I think I now understand these sticks (key word is think) but now once again I have absolutely no idea if I ovulated last week, this week or not at all

I'm feeling a little overwhelmed with bumps all around me. My neighbour who has a 9 mth old is now 3 mths pg with #2. Seriously?! 15 mth age gap? Wow.

My SIL who is 7 yrs younger than me, got married 3 mths after us and who's baby is due next mth 'had words' with me today about not leaving it too long to have kids as I'm not getting any younger... All I could do not to cry!

Even the flies were at it in the garden today.

Still not got 'peak' on cbfm but expect it tomorrow so hopefully some more dtd tonight. I'm loving how it's so much clearer than peering at sticks! Get day 21 tests back tomorrow..feeling bit apprehensive!

Disney I had the same problem as you, I stated using cheapie OPK from CD8 for the first time this month. The first one I used I had a second line and I thought can I really be ovulating on cd8! So I posted on here and was advised to get a clearblue opk, which I did. But I continued with the cheapies until cd13, on cd11 & 12 I had no second line so wasn't sure if I had already ovulated. I bought the cb one and had a smiley on the morning of cd16 but in the evening went I tested again I had a negative.

Been trying to following the SMEP this month so got my fingers crossed as we have dtd more times this month then any other month since ttc.

Well I'm officially in the 2ww- already not feeling too hopeful as I've had very little ewcm this month and have only dtd 3 times!

Feel like I'm learning so much from reading all the threads on mumsnet- I was actually quite clueless before regarding conception vitamins, OPKs, basal body temp charting etc etc etc!

So from next month (if AF stays away) I'm doing the whole shebang of temping and charting and using OPKs!
Also ordered his 'n' hers conception vitamins after reading a telegraph article on conceiving and maintaining early pregnancy! (Google Telegraph pregnacare conception for article- admittedly the people involved were having fertility drugs but results were still encouraging)

So only on cycle #2 and already hopelessly obsessed

I am also attempting to follow smep this month crista however, I got my first ever +ive today but my sis is staying in the room next to ours... I'm really not sure how quiet we can be. The wall in question is substantial (original 30's external wall) but still ....

Much maligned internet cheapies are now showing a distinct positive for me so I think the problem really is I tested you early - now AF is due, a lime comes up clearly well within the ten mins. Maybe I'm just a bit lower in hcg than some so that's why they weren't working before.

Aaargh forget it!

AF got me feeling awful. Back to school after half term today and just sat here crying. I know it's stupid, I know this is only cycle 3 but everyone around me seems to be getting pregnant except me. I'm really feeling quite depressed and want to crawl into a hole.

Confratulations to all the BFPs!!! :) unfortunately for me AF arrived with bells and whistles on Saturday night (2 days early!) so I am giving up my spot at the front if the bus! Can my stats be updated to ttc#1, cycle 2, bfp 28th June and can I have a seat at the back?

Sorry to those who have been caught by the dredded AF. Im expecting her today, or the next few days at least, so wont be far behind you all. Im trying to hold off doing any more poas to avoid too much more disappointment. Its bad enough when AF arrives without getting loads of bfn's aswell!

Hello all. Sorry I have been missing for nearly 3 wks. This is my 1 week count down to AF. I am also turning 30 this week (seems to be going around!) in fact my AF is due on my birthday. So that is surely some sort of sign

This months hopeful (if tenuous) symptom spotting include:

• strong smelling wee
• stuffy nose
• my hairdresser commented on how unnaturally thick my hair was at roots, as it was during last pregnancy!

I'm sure I'll think of some more soon and add them! Anyone want to share their own personal neurosis and make me feel better!

some hope you're not feeling quite so shit as the day goes on. AF got you kind of early, didn't she? Does that mean anything?

I know what you mean about suddenly everyone around you getting pregnant. I'm sure I knew nobody with kids just a few months ago, now it's loads...maybe I just wasn't paying attention before.

bartbaby I know I am the same, AF is due to arrive on Thursday, and I have these sore boobs for more than a week, so hoping to be preggers, but cant help myself: keep taking the tests and keep getting BFN :(
now I ve used up all the tests, so decided not to test anymore but wait till Thursday and then do it, save myself disappointment
