Hello ladies think I need to board the June bus. Have POAS this morning after having 4days of brown mucus (sorry tmi) with no blood as of yet but bfn. Guess I need to take this as my Af as it started 3 days before af due. Just so annoying as have 35day cycles as it is and never been on pill or anything so guess mine are always going to be long. Really hope this doesn't mess up my next cycle. Going to try to sit here patiently whilst handing out double chocolate brownies.

Hi tinker! Sounds like we are all having weird cycles lately! Day 42 for me now and still no sign of AF and defo not pregnant! Very annoying!!

oh gilly! thats getting silly now. it must be so frustrating not knowing.
my friend actually skipped a period. kept getting bfns. then the next month got pregnant. so her last period was a month before it should have been. doctor told her that it happens sometimes. may be you just wont have af this month! keep dtd!!

We hasn't dtd for a week or so anyway due to shift work and stuff... Just want AF to come so I can feel like im kind of in control again... !

Now, after another day of doing paperwork in the sun...(why do I have to go to work tomorrow?...don't wanna... ), I'm now starting to get ready for the cycle ahead. [continues to prod AF in gilly's direction] Perhaps you are missing out one cycle, and AF comes when your next period was supposed to appear?

gilly, I thought you might be the person to ask for a little help. I've started charting, but I'm finding the whole thing a bit confusing. It says to take the temperature in the morning, before I have moved around. Aehm,...I'm a really light sleeper and generally wake up before my alarm goes, so I move around a lot all the time. Will that still be ok? I'm mainly using it in conjunction with opk, to see whether I actually ovulate. Last month, it seems to have happened several days after the +opk (got smiley on cd15,...and app puts ovulation date on cd20 now,...very strange).

hmmm... I don't really have an answer for that cos I have the same issue! Pretty much always wake up during the night... I either go back to sleep and do it when my alarm goes off OR do it when I wake up before my alarm if its within an hour or so...

Hi again! AF has finally left I think so time to get focused on the task in hand. Trying to temp this month but it seems to fluctuate quite a bit and I work shifts so it's likely to be even more messed up when on nights!!

Gilly, sounds like we are pretty similar. I was married in Nov and came off the pill after 10 years. Started with cycles of 37 days but then was thrown a curveball at the beginning of April and now cycle seems to be 29 days!! Any sign of AF for you yet?

Keeping my fingers crossed for us all this month!!

Hi Londonchick! Glad AF has left you! Maybe she's on her way to me now as no sign of her yet!

I do nights (sometimes... but rarely) and when I do nights I just don't chart a temperature at all. But still handy for the rest of the the when I'm on days!

Going to stay with my sister for the rest of the week without DH.. She lives 5 hours away so having some time with her as DH is working all weekend and weekend anyway. AF will probably come when I'm at her house sleeping in her nice white sheets!

I thought finally had finally arrived yesterday.. Wiped when on the loo and saw some blood... But nothing since. 100% NOT implantation or ovulation so hopefully AF IS on the way... CD 46 today.. This is getting a bit ridiculous!
Bbt seems to be slowing going down so... Fingers crossed AF will come and I can finally start a new cycle.

Is your cycle normally a bit up the left? I'm hoping mine's sorted now, I used Vit B-50 Complex and cut down on some prescription medication I was taking that has (in a very small number of women) an effect on periods.

I'm not doing temp taking, any chance that might be wrong?

Only came off the pill at the end of December after 10 years so cycles are taking a while to get back to normal but this cycle is particularly long! Temps are defo right.... I ovulated very late this cycle and if my ovulation date is when I think it was then AF should come any day now... Which would make sense as my temp is going down... But we'll see!

I don't understand the temperature thing, surely it's dependent on so many other factors?

Hi Zola.. Yes other things can effect your temp... but generally if you take your temp at the same time every day as soon as you wake up you will see a pattern

I am going for it this month though. Temp charting, opk, lots of swi!! And my 30th! Bring it on!

Just a light hearted story from my day about the evils of AF for you all.
I was just heading to change my sanitary stuff at break time (teacher) when a child came running in asking for help with one of my class. He was about to kick off and attack another pupil. (V violent history and he reenacts when provoked) I called out to him and he backed off and ran off. Just fabulous, I think, because protocol is for nearest teacher (me) to follow him. So I run after him, chase out the school gate and into housing estate. He slows to a walk but still won't stop. Then I realise I am really really leaking! There are blood streaks making way down my legs. So in desperation I shout out to child (please x, I really need a wee!) he then laughs and stops and comes back to school with me! I then have I go home and change. Ahh the joys if AF!

I'm 39 (DH is 32) and TTC#1, cycle 15 (ish). BFP due 11 June.
I'm currently having tests to see if anything is wrong. Starting to get really frustrated with the whole process so would be good to be on the bus with with some similar ladies.
