I think I'm just going to drive myself crazy with symptom spotting but I have been REALLY tired this last week I assumed it was just from my holiday the week before and I was catching up on sleep but even after the weekend (I did nothing but sleep) I'm still sitting here yawning. My boobs are also getting very tender. Could just be af but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. My pg tests were dispatched this morning so might have to take a test as soon as they arrive!

londonchick · 03/06/2013 12:05

some please feel free to moan on here. You are with people who feel your pain.

No AF yet but 3 BFNs in quick succession so she must be on her way. Rubbish.

Sorry for those already visited by AF. Fingers crossed for everyone else!!

DisneyDiva87 · 03/06/2013 12:20

Here Some have a huge bar of chocolate I'm off for lunch so I should spoil my appetite by eating it myself. Hope you feel better, it's ok to feel down and to vent here. Lets face it, most of us are probably here so we have somewhere to vent without making all our RL friends hate us :o)

SunshinedreamIng · 03/06/2013 13:06

feel like AF is coming on, cramping and bloated Sad

SunshinedreamIng · 03/06/2013 13:20

I ve just googled "the accuracy of pregnant tests" and there were different responses. One woman had BFN on the day of her AF due ( with clearblue PG test) and did not get her BFP till 10 days later.
So there is still some hope! londonchick , it is not over till the fat lady sings!!

Pixie001 · 03/06/2013 13:23

Sorry for those that the witch has got. She's not particularly sympathetic eh? For some of us, ttc will take longer than we'd hope and we just have to stick with it and wait for the right time. Flowers Know it's easier said than done but that's why these forums are great, we can vent when we're upset. and not always take it out on our dh

Got my day 21 bloods back and all looking ok so that's a relief! Grin Just need to convince dh to get to dr. He seems to have been putting it off. Confused. Also got 'peak' this morning so plenty of dtd for us!!

DisneyDiva87 · 03/06/2013 13:25

fingers crossed for you Pixie

DisneyDiva87 · 03/06/2013 13:31

I've been googling a few pregnancy related things and I have to admit it worries me when I read some of the comments; "when your pregnant your bladder grows 8 times in size" this is given as the reason provided to the girl by her dr why you pee more when pregnant!

Dear help the poor woman who's uterus AND bladder grow to 8 times their original size.

londonchick · 03/06/2013 13:40

Yep there is always hope until AF actually shows!! Thanks Sunshine

Sounds like it'll be an active few days in the Pixie household. Have fun!

SomeDizzyWhore1804 · 03/06/2013 13:52

Thanks for all the sympathy guys, and thanks for the chocolate Disney Grin

I know that all is not lost and it's a journey and it can take ages and ages for people- of course I do- it's just that being relatively youthful I guess I expected it to happen faster. And also my hormones just feel outrageous- I am all over the place. I have pre menstral and pre ovulation tension and just tension!! And I had forgotten how tough periods are (or mine are!) on the coil I had virtually nothing, a bit of spotting occassionally and no pain, but now I have agonising cramps and have to take Feminax and take to my bed. Plus work is awful at the moment, there are some wider family problems going on and it just all feels overwealming.

I know I need to relax and keep calm but it's so hard.

Thanks for letting me moan. You're all so kind.

DisneyDiva87 · 03/06/2013 14:01

Don't worry Some we'll all get our own back and then you'll have to listen to us Grin

londonchick · 03/06/2013 14:33

Some I totally get your issue about periods. Mine are truly evil and it just makes every little thing seem harder than it should. Add a bad period to someone's pregnancy announcement and I feel like an emotional wreck!!

You have to look after you. Easier said than done when circumstances don't really allow it but you're not responsible for what others do or say. Your mental health is paramount to YOU!

I completely hear you about work too! I am an A&E nurse so taking a complete battering at work and in the press at the moment (Thanks Daily Mail!!). Every shift us a new battle. Doesn't help DTD at any point when I've been shouted at all day!! Working for the NHS should carry a conception warning :-)

Say as much or as little as you like on here but please vent if it helps!!

heidihole · 03/06/2013 16:23

Have had BFN after BFN so far! Been testing since 7dpo (I know, I know!!!)

AF due tomorrow which is 12 dpo. Only cycle 2 but we were successful first time with DS so moving onto cycle 3 isn't what we expected. (Naive!!) will let you know when AF arrives so you can boot me off the bus :)

DisneyDiva87 · 03/06/2013 16:54

I'm feeling a bit rough again, it's come on quite suddenly and accompanied by a headache. This is not good for my crazy I'll be convincing myself it's morning sickness

SomeDaySoon74 · 03/06/2013 18:27

dizzy - sorry it's not to be for you this month. But like others say, we're all here for you to offer support and egging on etc.
pixie - great news on blood results & opk results. Get thee to it Grin
Londonchick, sunshine, heidi - I think I'm in your keep-getting-BFNs-but-still-in-with-a-slim-chance gang! Have been testing religiously but no sign of a BFP or of AF (now 2 days late). I'm on somewhere around 11dpo based on my opk test, or 13dpo based on when I usually ovulate. Hmmm. But realistically I would have expected at least a glimmer of a line by now if I was having a lucky month? How many dpo's are the rest of you? When should I call it a day with the testing and stop daydreaming?

heidihole · 03/06/2013 18:58

someday are you often late? How unusual is it? 11dpo isn't enough to be totally out of the game. I am too today but like you deep down I know realistically I should have had a faint line by now.

When I got pregnant with dc1 I got a bfp about 4 days before AF I'm sure!

SomeDaySoon74 · 03/06/2013 19:10

Thanks for the reply heidi. I'm usually fairly regular between 31-33 days. I did have a weirdly long cycle in Feb (38 days) but that was the month after my op so I put it down to that. The two times I've been pg before, I got BFPs at least 3 days early. Hmm I've got a really achey right ovary and 1 spot on my chin -I never get spots!) so surely these must be signs??!! Wink

SunshinedreamIng · 03/06/2013 19:36

I did not know spots were another sign!!!Grin

some I've got two spots too!! and I never get spots , even before Af's visit, so you, there is still some hope for us!! Grin

sending you some Biscuit and Brew with hugs to cheer you up!!

Gillster · 03/06/2013 19:54

Congrats on the BFPs so far and commiserations on those hosting AF. My mood improved this morning when I got a Smile on the OPKs. It's a week later than usual so was about to give up testing this month. I think prolonged cycle was due to my sub conscious temporarily shutting down ovaries with DH's 3 week absence. Looks like I'm going to have to shuffle down the bus a bit.

Bit of a Brucie Bonus this evening in Tesco - CB OPKs were only £8.75 for 20! I promptly bought 2 boxes as sub conscious clearly not expecting a BFP any time soon! Still waiting for polyp removal appointment after chasing hospital for second time in as many weeks. Grrrr.

FX for the ladies testing in the next couple of days, surely some more BFPs due on this packed bus!

Thatssofunny · 03/06/2013 20:50

Hello AF, you bitch. Yet again, how unfortunate to welcome you. Oh well. some Would you like to share my cider? It's really nice (pressed red grape...will have to try the cherry one as well at some point) and goes nicely with the tomatoes, mozzarella and prawns.
I've got an appointment with my gym instructor tomorrow, to try and lose a little weight before my wedding (now, will I for the first time in my life try and get to a size 12? I've been a size 14 since I was 15).

DisneyDiva87 · 03/06/2013 21:39

Funny you should go for it, plus it might help you to have a specific aim to keep your sights on and motivate you.

I think I have the beginnings of a slight thrush infection -hrmph-

Fingers crosses for you hangers on! I hope you get your bfp's!Grin

gillywillywoo · 03/06/2013 21:50

Disney I've got a bit of thrush at the moment too Hmm

OP posts:
Pixie001 · 03/06/2013 22:06
