GuffSmuggler · 04/06/2013 20:45

Yay!! Congrats fluff Grin

Penguinita · 04/06/2013 20:46

Good on you OLTT for spreading the baby dust and posifrickingtivity! (Wow, my autocorrect just guessed posifrickingtivity after I typed five letters! Smile)

And it worked! Hooray for fluff!

Welcome JPOBL, sounds like life has lived up to your name and been a bit of a b*gger to you for the last couple of years. I do like the sound of BESH though, sitting here with a G&T right now. A few more months of TTC and I'll qualify on all the other criteria too Grin

My heart goes out to you tins, what an ordeal. The waiting must be awful. But if the doctors won't do anything while the HB is still there then maybe there is still a tiny chance of a miracle? Sending positive thoughts your way.

Had another blood test today, down to 93, I reckon BFN day could be early next week... I've started monitoring my BBT in anticipation. Overanxious, I would get hassling your doctor for those blood test results, mine come back the same day.

Tomkat79 · 04/06/2013 22:06

Nice one fluff great news x

alicebear · 04/06/2013 22:29

Welcome JPOBL & hooble sorry you're here it sounds like you've both had a really tough time. hooble hope you're on your way to a BFP soon.
fluff great news. A super quick BFP for you fantastic Smile hope it's a sticky one.
over glad to hear you're feeling a bit more posifrickintivity now. Hope there is gd news with the bloods.

tins so so sorry to hear what you've been going through. It must be awful. As someone else said maybe there is hope whilst there's a heartbeat??

Let's hope for lots more BFPs this month.

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 04/06/2013 22:31

I'm shocked! Excited but so nervous that something will go wrong again :( Yes this is cycle 0 after miscarriage.

I was wondering about those digital predictor tests. Do you think they are worth while? I really aren't sure about dates, I bleed for 2 weeks after the ERPC so haven't a clue how that changes things?!

I know I've been really lucky for it to happen so fast. I've had a really bad run of luck since we lost the baby including my beloved cat being run over the week after :(

fluffandnonsense · 04/06/2013 22:51

Hooble it could well be implantation bleeding. I had this last week and thought AF was on her way but instead this week I have a BFP! Miracles do happen xxx Fingers crossed for you x

vix2812 · 05/06/2013 02:58

I've been TTC since June last year...still no luck and last month my body decides to throw in a missed period so I think I am and the usual let-down feeling sets in. Came on today so not a happy bunny. I'm just going to forget the whole thing and try to trick my body into it, like I did to get my daughter!

vix2812 · 05/06/2013 02:58

P.s my m/c was in May last year

BakingBunty · 05/06/2013 06:38

Yay fluff that's brilliant news! So many congrats.

Finally off to the GP this morning. Hoping she sends me for an early scan as I am a nervous wreck. A friend of mine who has also had a MC said that it takes a lot of the innocent excitement out of being pregnant again. I am totally over the moon and so very grateful for my BFP but she is so right.

Hope all of you are doing ok and are looking forward to a sunny weekend full of posifrickingtivity.

BirdsDoIt · 05/06/2013 08:35

Wow, you ladies have been busy! Just checking in after a week's holiday and a few manic days back at work...hello all the newbies - and speedy work, fluff, congratulations! And congrats liesl and bunty too. Here's hoping we're on a roll with these June bfps.

I've just started out on monitoring my bbt and cm properly (about a week ago) and now have a chart which makes little sense! I guess if you've never done it before then you need to do it for a couple of cycles before you know what's 'normal' for you - sigh - yet more patience needed. But as someone said upthread, it definitely makes you feel better to be doing something. Whoever said they were on cd15
and had been DTD since cd6, I salute you. Thought we were doing quite well with three consecutive days, cd12 to cd14!

tins so sorry to hear about what's been going on with you. I hope being in limbo is over soon xxx

HoobleDooble · 05/06/2013 12:51

Getting emotional reading the good news, bad news and everything else on here ... Maybe another sign?

alyant79 · 05/06/2013 13:21

Welcome hooble and vix

nice symptom spotting hooble, Fx!!

HOORAY fluff great news.
June is looking up up up

DearlyDepartedMrsFinch · 05/06/2013 14:35

Congrats Fluff!!

mini28 · 05/06/2013 14:58

Hello everyone! I'm back now for the long haul. I first posted back in early April when I had medical management for a mmc. Since then I was told I had "retained products" (horrid terminology), positive pregnancy tests for 5 weeks after medical management, af was no-show for weeks. All barriers to TTCing!

However, af finally showed about 2 weeks ago (although it was a really odd one - basically just spotted for about 10 days). But I think I ovulated over last weekend, so we DTD a LOT Grin

Have been lurking on and off, trying to keep up with everyone. Congrats on all the recent bfps!

And so sorry to hear what you're going through tins. I'm thinking of you and mr tins xx

StarsInTheNightSky · 05/06/2013 15:03

Thanks again for the warm welcome everyone

fluff that's brilliant news, congrats!!! Grin

tins really sorry to hear what you going through.

I'm now 14 dpo (technically af is late for me as my lp is usually 12 days max, I am addicted to charting, but after mc last cycle don't know) and my temps have stayed high, and this morning I thought I had a very very faint bfp. DP could see the line too, so I did two more and still very very faint lines. No signs of af but think it's my body playing tricks, have spent most of the day in tears, feeling like a wet blanket.

alyant79 · 05/06/2013 15:25

ooooh stars that sounds very positive, esp as DP can see the line too. Woo!!
test again in another couple of days i suppose and try and keep it together until then (easier said than done).
Oh, and a for testing on a day-other-than-friday.
Tsk tsk tsk, the standards are slipping around here Wink

mini I know exactly what you've been going through as the same thing happened to me back in feb/march. Sucks, doesn't it? I ended up having an erpc to remove the retained products. Did you escape that?
I hope all the dtd works Smile

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 05/06/2013 15:34

Ok. Ive done the hormonal ups and downs, the stressful DTD, the waiting, now Im onto obsessively symptom spotting. My breasts are really prickly tingly today. AF not due until next wednesday...

OP posts:
StarsInTheNightSky · 05/06/2013 16:07

alyant thanks, just feeling very worried as I haven't been able to stay pregnant yet. Sorry - I forgot to ask for my fish slap, please everyone slap away! Wink Does it justify it that I thought it was Friday today? Really annoying mistake to make when it's only Wednesday!

saggy it's sounding positive so far, really hoping that it's your cycle this time.

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 05/06/2013 16:36

Congratulationd Stars. Smile

hey alyant, thankfully I managed to avoid the ERPC because what was left was under 1cm. It just took a long time for the hcg to leave my system, grrr. Sorry you had to go through that. I can't imagine how hard that must have been Sad

stars that sounds really promising!

kat I know how you feel! Really, we should have kept going and dtd again last night, but I just had to have a rest Blush

Sounds good saggy. Fingers crossed for you!
