Hi all, can I please join you?

I had a Mmc in May and after getting the all clear yesterday as it was not a molar pregnancy as they suspected we are now ready to start ttc again. I am going to get a pregnancy test today to hopefully get a negative then it's time to get going! No AF yet either so hope it will be soon. Good luck to all and congratulations to all those with BFPs

xx

nearlyreadytopop · 01/06/2013 08:35

thank you for ovulation advice One Little, trying not to get my hopes up but if I did ovulate then there is a chance I could be pregnant as there was some dtd actionGrin .

alyant79 · 01/06/2013 09:00

over 400 sounds positive for your potential dates, but really the only way to tell will be with the repeats bloods. fingers, toes and everything else crossed for you.
Sal have a lovely lovely hens do this weekend. That ex of yours is obviously a complete waste of space. Good riddance to him.

flower that's really good news about the cyst.

Tomkat79 · 01/06/2013 09:38

Hi noahs

Hope you're doing ok. Glad you got the all clear x

RainbowConnections · 01/06/2013 09:44

Shit shit shit. Tested too soon. Cramping and spotting. At Sainsburies to buy bloody Pregnacare vitamins.
Is there any point in even seeing GP Monday. Will this even count as MC? Mc 2 May, OV 19 May.

Misspositivity · 01/06/2013 11:09

rainbow. Spotting and cramping can be normal. Keep your appointment and consider yourself pregnant until you are told otherwise. Keep your appointment an stay positive.

Misspositivity · 01/06/2013 14:16

Waves frantically at newbies. Welcome sorry your hear but you are in good company.

Started poas (ovulation please don't slap me with a fish. Using clearblue advanced, the one that tells u 4 days you are fertile. It was neg yesterday then a peak smily face today at cd11. Seems to have missed the high fertility stage and I normally ovulated at cd17 -19. DP away so unless it's a load of crap that's another month gone. I used some ovulation strips and normal clearblue test I had in my drawer and they are not registering lh surge.

Yes folks I have been peeing on any stick I can find.

Anybody any experience Of this.

Misspositivity · 01/06/2013 14:16

Rant to say no ewcm. I usually get loads. Crampy though.

ladybonifer · 01/06/2013 14:47

Hi ladies,

I see you're all in the Uk? My home town is Bristol! Im in Australia now though. Met hubby here. All was well and three months into marriage conceived easily. 9 months later a full term still birth was what awaited me after a perfect pregnancy. 5 months after birth and funeral I was diagnosed with Hashimotos. Ive sadly had 2 miscarriages since and I think Im on my third now! This is getting a bit much for me now as I dont know anyone here with any of these issues and my family are all back in Europe. Wanted to reach out to a few who understand. Im on a few immune treatments advised by Dr. Gorgy in London and im monitored by my fertility doc here but it seems it might be in vain again! Reading all that you're going through fellow stick wetters and my thoughts are with you. Can any of you recommend a page thats suited to me if you think I'm in the wrong place?!? (sorry) Complete forum virgin!

Penguinita · 01/06/2013 16:10

I've got my fingers crossed for you rainbow, it must be hard not to think the worst after what we've all been through but MissP is right.

Really great news on the cyst flower. Let the TTC commence!

My (four hour long!) revisit to the EPU wasn't so successful. The mystery object is still there, they think it is probably a cyst but they can't be sure. It is one of the biggest they have ever seen apparently, and at the point where the tube joins the uterus. So there is a small chance that it is a rare type of ectopic pregnancy called a cornual or interstitial pregnancy. It will be pretty bad news if it is.

I had a blood test for beta hcg and it is about 200 - no idea if that is good or bad? Back for repeat bloods first thing tomorrow, I've got everything crossed that they will have gone down.

Rubbish timing too as tonight I have my first girls night out where I can drink in months. Best not get totally wasted or my blood test will be pure alcohol Smile

Emki · 01/06/2013 17:04

ladyb welcome - you have been through so much, you poor thing. I lost a baby at 5 months pregnant last July and still not over that - cant imagine what you went through after going full term - so sorry xxx

Stick with us here - lots of great and fun conversations and lots of support.

What is your next step? Where are at now with current pregnancy? X

Good luck at docs tomorrow penguin

rainbow definitely go to doc - those signs do not spell bad news x

{{{waves}} to newbies xx

Misspositivity · 01/06/2013 18:15

lady welcome. Yes stay with us
So sorry to hear what you have been through. I can't even begin to imagine. There are some interesting conversations on here that will at least make you giggle.

Misspositivity · 01/06/2013 18:21

penguinta. Fingers crossed all ok tomorrow. I wouldn't worry about alcohol tonight don't think it will make much difference.

DearlyDepartedMrsFinch · 01/06/2013 20:32

Hi all! Feeling decidedly chirpy tonight as AF has arrived Grin. So my WTF cycle has been 36 days, which is pretty much normal for me. Yippee!

So sorry to hear about the cramps rainbow. Hope you're okay. MissP is right, spotting and cramps are normal. Hoping for you.

Hi to the newbies lady, I can't imagine what you've been though. Stick around though, it makes such a difference to be able to spout things on here that you may not be able to in RL.

Penguinita, have a good night. Fingers crossed for your bloods in the morning.

Over, saying a tiny prayer for you, too.

BakingBunty · 01/06/2013 20:34

lady so sorry to hear what you've been through. This thread is great, really supportive and some smiles along the way.

rainbow I'm thinking of you. I'm about a week ahead of you and keeping everything crossed for us both.

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 01/06/2013 21:29

Welcome Lady. Do stay. You'll be someone for the rest of us to talk to in the silent watches of the night. Grin
Having a total funk here! Sad DP and I rowed last night and he isnt speaking to me. I've been at work all day and I'm just so miserable.

Hey everyone! guess Im supposed to refresh the page more! Its like my first day at school! Thanks for warm welcome you lot. G&T, Just what I need dearly. But yet another weekend ruined my impending gloom so I'll be doing that next week no doubt!

saggy try to keep positive. Im not so close with my husband since my obsession with beating this situation started. I hate that he leaves all the leg work and investigation to me and forgets emotional support altogether now. Guess he's tired of it all too. Feels like a prison sentence most of the time.

miss positivity I've had the same thing with opk. Totally missed ovulation like overnight, it showed, so I stopped using them. Try and run a simultaneous test with different brands maybe? This time I'm pregnant without using temp chart, mucus obs, OPK kit but its a weak pregnancy I can tell. I had a negative blood test result 6 days before MMP. All of a sudden its a positive home test two days after expected period. No symptoms at all and I normally get a few. The negative blood test has freaked me though. penguinita how far along are you meant to be? Fingers crossed it's all good. 200 is good for early preggo but number drastically vary between peeps I'm sure. Emki So Sorry about your little one. It's the saddest thing. When they born like that when you know they could have been kept alive in ICU if you actually could tell what was going on in there. It's heartbreaking. We can't let it destroy us, although I think I'm going slightly mad as they say! Working for a baby photography company doesn't help! I Know, I know. Stick electrodes under my toe nails and turn on the electric would probably be less painful!

Koala kisses!! xxxx

RainbowConnections · 02/06/2013 04:58

Hi ladyb. You've had such a sad time. Can only imagine how you feel. I hope talking to the ladies here helps. You've had so much to deal with i'm not surprised you feel like you are going mad. (And what a tough job for you to be doing!)

Hello to other new people too.

Penguin good luck with the testing. I hope you had a good night out.

Fingers crossed to those ready for TTC action and BFPs in June. Good news re the cyst flower.

Thanks for the reminders that bleeding/cramping doesnt necessarily mean anything. I was so angry i couldnt think straight. Feels inevitable now but i know i just need to wait and see.

BakingB hope you're keeping well.

Saggy hope you have a better day today.

icklemssunshine1 · 02/06/2013 07:18

Morning everyone,

Not been around for a couple of months but good to see some familiar names. After my last post early April I ended up in A&E and 2 MRIs revealed I had 2 slipped discs that were compressing my sciatic nerve. Maybe the little bump I lost was looking out for me as there was no way I could've carried a pregnancy to term. I've just had steroid injections & waiting on surgery but finally feeling positive for the future. As soon as the surgery is over I'm back on the TTC bandwagon!

Bit overwhelmed by all these posts so hope no-one thinks I'm rude that I haven't read through them all from start to finish. Hoping there's been some BFPs.

Baking I'm hoping you're okay.

GuffSmuggler · 02/06/2013 09:48

Hi all,

Welcome to the new people and welcome back ickle, hope you get all better soon.

saggy sorry to hear you're having a bad weekend Sad hope things are a bit better today.

I've got a rotten cold and my voice has gone but am still on AF so have got a few days to get all better and try and feel sexy again Confused OPKs are in the post but seeing recent updates not sure they are going to be all that useful!

icklemssunshine1 · 02/06/2013 10:09

Guff, feel your pain. I've got a stinking cold too. My body must know I'm back to work tomorrow after my sick leave!! I used OPKs with DD but didn't use Internet cheapies. I found they never gave me a dark line. I used Boots OPKs & they were fab, needless to say we conceived (same too with the little bump in the sky) but they are expensive. Hope you feel better.

Emki · 02/06/2013 11:00

Morning all - looks like i'm out for this month - tested this morning and got a big BFN (yes 2 days early - so could still be but I can't think like that - i've had cry and now trying to look ahead) Luckily I got in the wine and the maxi sanitary towels last week.

Only thing now is that DH is away over the next 3 weeks - he will be home at weekends so hoping I OV then - eek!!!

So think i'll try preseed and acupuncture this month - if I manage to DTD at all that is!

guff sorry to hear you're not feeling well - hope its sunny where you are and you can lots of Vit D

saggy how are you today - the pressure we are under is just immense - its a miracle if DH and I don't argue at least once a fortnight - {{{hugs}}} to ou

Hello ickle

Emki · 02/06/2013 11:04

Question ...... I've never used preseed or conceive plus, do any of you have any recommendations??

icklemssunshine1 · 02/06/2013 11:41

Hi emki, I've used conceive plus. Not sure of its benefits but as someone who has to use lubricant I opted for this as its supposed to be friendly to sperm. I conceived DD (& my little bump in the sky) by using this & OPKs so something works!

icklemssunshine1 · 02/06/2013 11:42

Oh & I used the tube not the little pessaries as couldn't be bothered with the hassle of inserting it 20 minutes before intercourse.
