Come on ladies, this is the one! Time for some BFPs!

The smallprint- Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, must have a special pot, NO instadiffers)

Cheered up a bit now Smile.

Tally no they don't know, I'm applying there for a job in a couple of months so letting them know that I'm doing my damnedest to get besprogged isn't the best tactic! I'm normally fine, I think it was just the total lack of interest this woman had in her BEAUTIFUL baby. She just turned her back on it. Broke my heart. Of course I know there could be all sorts of underlying reasons, but it's still hard to control the gut reaction! On the bright side, I stole the baby for mega cuddles since nobody else seemed to want it. Such a pudgy little cutie Grin

sconeoclock · 15/05/2013 20:50

Roast lamb was lush! Although now too full up to dtd, might have to walk the woof to burn it off!

Boom you must have the patience of a saint, think I would have lost my rag completely with anyone so disinterested in their own child. Clearly an unworthy instadiffa!

Cate555 · 15/05/2013 20:56

Boom working as a mid wife what's your thoughts on natural birth vs c section (obviously massively jumping the gun as can't get pregnant in the first place but just interested) Smile

MrsB00Mbastic · 15/05/2013 21:38

Oh scone I'm drooling on the keyboard at the thought of your lamb! We have roast butternut squash and lemon sole here. But I want gravy now Envy And not really the patient of a saint, I don't think saints cry in the toilet haha!

Cate well personally I'm all for natural birth, which is why I got so upset when the scan showed I'd probably end up high risk. But I'm very much each to their own, I'm not one of those rabid midwives who push breastfeeding and drug-free birth if it's not what someone wants. I guess I'm pretty moderate in practice, and a total hippy in private! Sections are harder to recover from, which is my main problem with them - we discharge these poor women a day after major abdo surgery, with a new baby to look after - no wonder they struggle. It wouldn't be for me if I could possibly avoid it. I could honestly bang on about this for hours, don't get me started! now watch me get diffed and have every intervention known to mankind

Bunnygirlie · 15/05/2013 21:54

Hola lovely berries, have you missed me lol Grin

Day 2 of holiday and weather not as good as hoped, seem to be eating loads to make up for it, I have a serious food baby going on, shame its not the type of bump I want!

Typing on this iTouch drives me crazy so I'll keep it brief but hope you are all well!

bunny 33, married, cycle 12!!! Just had third blood test after first two said low levels of progesterone so may not be ovulating Sad AF due next week when back from holiday

OP posts:
BoodIeBee · 15/05/2013 21:59

Thread title will need to include lunching, sperm omelettes and cat vom.

Just saying.

I should probably also say good evening, Berries!

Barking, sorry your AF is playing hide and seek. Obviously I hope she doesn't come at all and you get a miraculous BFP, but if that's not to be, she needs to hurry up and get going so you can book your HSG.

Boom, honestly, I have no idea how you do the job that you do! It's bad enough for me seeing the millions three fat lumps pregnant ladies at work and the frequent facebook sonograms. Delivering babies into the world every day must be emotionally draining to say the least. Much admiration for you.

In Boodle news, I'm being a bit of a dickhead and trying progesterone cream again this month. I'm hoping for a slightly longer luteal phase so that when I go the FC, I'm not going to be 2 days too late to start a clomid cycle, if that's what they decide to give me next.

BoodIeBee · 15/05/2013 22:50

Damn it. I've killed the thread again. Must've wandered in nude without even realising it and sent everyone running away and screaming for some brain bleach.

barkingtreefrog · 15/05/2013 22:58

In the same boat again then Boodle! I'm still just about on track to be two days too far into my cycle to start clomid immediately if I get it! When is your FC appointment? I think I might try the fit b6 again next cycle, it may just do enough to stretch it out a couple of days!

Got cramps tonight so fx AF arrives in the morning and I can call to make an appointment for my hsg next week.

MrsB00Mbastic · 15/05/2013 22:59

Bwaha boodle brain bleach! Where do you get your prog cream from? Not that I'm thinking of it, I don't think it'll help my issues, but can you just order stuff like that off t'interweb or does it have to be from doc?

Am off to bed now, up at 5 for more babycatching duty...

sconeoclock · 15/05/2013 23:01

Waves to boodle I'm here, still recovering from huge roast and hoping for a temp rise in the morning

barkingtreefrog · 15/05/2013 23:03

Oh, and I second the inclusion of lunching and cat vom Grin

I'm currently opting out of the list as I'm holding back on a feminist rant about the relevance to ttc of everyone listing 'married' after their name..... Wink Shock

Have left DP in the pub with his mates from uni. I left when they handed out the jäger bombs! On a school night!

barkingtreefrog · 15/05/2013 23:05

Keep us updated on the temp rise scone! Could still be Ov tomorrow and then temp rise on Friday though, don't despair if it doesn't go up tomorrow!!

sconeoclock · 15/05/2013 23:12

Thanks barking jager bombs on a school night! Little bit jealous of them, I can't handle late nights anymore!

sconeoclock · 15/05/2013 23:13

Quick question, what is an anovulatory cycle?

barkingtreefrog · 15/05/2013 23:15

One without ovulation.

BoodIeBee · 15/05/2013 23:23

Bleurgh! Jäger bombs! One would kill me on its own, let alone as a chaser!

Fingers crossed for a temp rise tomorrow, Scone; I had mine this morning, which is why I've dived on in with the prog cream.

Boom, I have to confess it is just bought off the internet (source naturals on Amazon). I've tried it a couple of times before but both times I don't think I used enough, and that can cause more problems than it solves. One of our grads, MotherofCleo used it the month she got her BFP, which is why I'm still tinkering with it. I figured it can't really hurt this month since I'm off to see FC one way or the other - I just wondered if it might lengthen my luteal phase. Very much mixed reviews online though, and I think probably the truth is that it's a load of tosh and only proper prescribed progesterone will be strong enough to have an effect.

Tallyra · 15/05/2013 23:25

good point barking, I don't see the need to put our marital status - there clearly must be a partner of some sort in the mix if we're here, and a piece of paper doesn't make it any easier or harder to get diffed...

sconeoclock · 15/05/2013 23:25

Thanks barking

boodle fx it does the trick for you.

Night all

Frogcatcher · 16/05/2013 00:22

Well right now I wish I was diffed without a DP as we've just had our worst row ever. He said that I've been tunnel vision about a baby for months & that's all I've thought about to exclude everything else & he felt backed into a corner. He's upset me so much & it's such a lie as he was more keen to start TTC than I was. He moaned about the temping agsin. And all I can think about is how bad stress is for baby. Aaa aargh men. I want wine desperately.

Scone - I had an anovulatory cycle I think the month before I got diffed.

BlindKitty · 16/05/2013 02:59

Wtf frog??!!! I can't believe he said that! Just try to stay calm and perhaps talk about it in a bit. Men are rubbish sometimes !!!

GooseyD · 16/05/2013 07:12

really quick post, haven't had time to read all but saw your holiday / hsg apt dilemma barking. when i called for mine they didnt have any apts left in day 1-10 as meant to be! so gave me a later one which was ok with my cycle. anyway point being even if af doesnt arrive this am maybe call and make apt for what you estimate will be after bleeding (at least 24 hrs i think) but before hols, as longer leave it less choice youll get if clinic busy. If need to change it you could always say it was a false start to af just spotting. anyway, just an idea.

sconeoclock · 16/05/2013 07:15

frog my friend had this with her dp when she was preg, turns out he was simply terrified and taking it out on her.

Maybe your dp is the same and reality has hit sand he's scared?

I don't think I'm ovulating at all :0(
Pos opk last 2 days, neg this morning no big temp shift and no cross hairs on ff.

Last few days temps:
36.7. 36.5. 36.6. 36.9

Feel quite gutted

happylass · 16/05/2013 07:22

Scone the temp shift of 0.3 between yesterday and today could be enough to indicate OV but you'll obviously have to wait and see if it stays up. My temps don't go up by much more than 0.3 the day after OV but they do rise steadily afterwards and always stay above my pre OV temps. If you are using FF they won't give you crosshairs until a few days after OV as they need to see that temp is staying up. Fx for you.

barkingtreefrog · 16/05/2013 07:23

What does he expect frog?! That you make one of the most important decisions of your life (if not the most important), to try and bring a new life into the world, to make a real life human with your and his genes, and then sit back and chill about it?! Once you've made the decision to ttc it's all in! It's too momentous and too exciting to take any other way!!

'tis my rather ambivalent view on the subject anyway..

Grrr at frog's DP Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

And you're diffed!!!! How would he be coping if he was my poor DP - I'm still obsessing 18 months in and no end in sight!!!

Seems very harsh of him to even bother bringing it up given you're now pg. Is he trying to make out ttc was all your idea and he was pressured into it?!

barkingtreefrog · 16/05/2013 07:26

Ok, scone's approach was more reasoned there, probably just 'cos he's scared...
