Come on ladies, this is the one! Time for some BFPs!

The smallprint- Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, must have a special pot, NO instadiffers)

I feel like I've done something naughty, like I've broken into the head's office and acted above my authority but I've started a new thread...

it's here

Please board the sausage shuffle!!

Scone you definitely need one to 2dp - this is the one I think most of us have (it's the one happy just mentioned - only £3.99 and free delivery!) Order one now in time to start your next cycle!!

Stuck on station, can't get to work.

Frog sorry DH being soo inconsiderate, sure what you said about difficulties in previous relationship plays into it - but still, hope he realises the error of his ways and begs your forgiveness.

Barking you've just voiced one of my fears - that if I do ever get diffed DF will act like all my idea. In fact I flipped on Tues after he said to leave dtd on crucial day til next morning and said if he wants kids he has to take charge. Has to look up how Clomid works and choose dtd days for next few months and make sure we actually can on those days given guests and separate travel, etc. Risky strategy given Clomid next cycle and Im sure ill end up doing it myself but something just snapped.

I think Bunny is on hols Shock. Bunny if you can hear us we need a new thread now!
Scone I got my BBT from Amazon. It's called Baby Mad (yes really!) and only cost about a fiver.
Frog hope all is ok with you today and you both enjoy your time away.
Just off to get my bloods done in the hope of being referred. Have a good day all.

frog I couldn't find a bbt so bought a digital thermometer with just one decimal place.

Enjoy your holds, are you going anywhere nice?

Thanks everyone. I think he is scared but won't admit it. It all went wrong with his ex after they had a child so I think he's worried that it could happen again. We're on hols today & tmrw going away tmrw night so can have some quality time.

scone do you use a bbt thermometer with 2 decimal places? I was using one with only 1 first & the rounding makes it harder to spot temp changes. I think the occasional anovulatory cycle is nothing to worry about. I did the same when I started temping & ended up with two potential Ov but in reality probably none. Next month was far more textbook.

goosey you're so cunning re barking's appt, I love it!!!

frog think scone is prob right, he's prob just freaking out. Don't forget we all have each other to talk to and men don't tend to do that

Really hoping this is my last baby-free hol. Had to make do with mothering rabid cats, in my cats absence. Just been to the shop to buy whiskers for the cutest little cat! She loved it!!!

If this was Feb or March, when we'd dtd every single possible day of shag week and then some, I might have some hope given I'm currently a whopping 10dpo rather than getting AF on 8dpo, but sods law meant dtd couldn't happen on the cycle I was trying vit b6 and it appears to have had an effect!! How long should a 'healthy' LP be anyway? Is 10 days long enough? I just know that 8 probably isn't....

barking stranger things have happened, have you poas? At least then you would know either way.

Report
barkingtreefrog · 16/05/2013 07:36

Thanks goosey I may just do that. The letter says it's less busy to call between 5 and 8pm so I'll wait until then and call whether AF has arrived or not.

Ridiculously I'm still half thinking 'could I be?' even though it would have to have been an immaculate conception given everything counting against us in shag week this cycle!!!

scone definitely not cause for concern yet, sometimes my rise is only 0.1 or 0.2, and as has already been said it's just a case of waiting to see that it doesn't dip again (although mine usually does, just once, purely to wind me up I believe).
I know from my large collection of charts that my coverline is pretty much always 36.5, but you'll only work that out after 3 or 4 cycles of temping when you start to see the pattern emerge.

Hehe barking my first reaction was same as yours, then I remembered what my friend went through. Her dp was an ar** all through her preg, then turned into superdad when Dc was born! Think he got all the diffed hormones!

Thanks happy its my first month charting bbt on ff so thought it would be more obvious when I ov'd!

Will wait and see what next few days temps say.

Report
barkingtreefrog · 16/05/2013 07:26

Ok, scone's approach was more reasoned there, probably just 'cos he's scared...

Report
barkingtreefrog · 16/05/2013 07:23

What does he expect frog?! That you make one of the most important decisions of your life (if not the most important), to try and bring a new life into the world, to make a real life human with your and his genes, and then sit back and chill about it?! Once you've made the decision to ttc it's all in! It's too momentous and too exciting to take any other way!!

'tis my rather ambivalent view on the subject anyway..

Grrr at frog's DP Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

And you're diffed!!!! How would he be coping if he was my poor DP - I'm still obsessing 18 months in and no end in sight!!!

Seems very harsh of him to even bother bringing it up given you're now pg. Is he trying to make out ttc was all your idea and he was pressured into it?!

Report
happylass · 16/05/2013 07:22

Scone the temp shift of 0.3 between yesterday and today could be enough to indicate OV but you'll obviously have to wait and see if it stays up. My temps don't go up by much more than 0.3 the day after OV but they do rise steadily afterwards and always stay above my pre OV temps. If you are using FF they won't give you crosshairs until a few days after OV as they need to see that temp is staying up. Fx for you.

sconeoclock · 16/05/2013 07:15

frog my friend had this with her dp when she was preg, turns out he was simply terrified and taking it out on her.

Maybe your dp is the same and reality has hit sand he's scared?

I don't think I'm ovulating at all :0(
Pos opk last 2 days, neg this morning no big temp shift and no cross hairs on ff.

Last few days temps:
36.7. 36.5. 36.6. 36.9

Feel quite gutted

really quick post, haven't had time to read all but saw your holiday / hsg apt dilemma barking. when i called for mine they didnt have any apts left in day 1-10 as meant to be! so gave me a later one which was ok with my cycle. anyway point being even if af doesnt arrive this am maybe call and make apt for what you estimate will be after bleeding (at least 24 hrs i think) but before hols, as longer leave it less choice youll get if clinic busy. If need to change it you could always say it was a false start to af just spotting. anyway, just an idea.

Well right now I wish I was diffed without a DP as we've just had our worst row ever. He said that I've been tunnel vision about a baby for months & that's all I've thought about to exclude everything else & he felt backed into a corner. He's upset me so much & it's such a lie as he was more keen to start TTC than I was. He moaned about the temping agsin. And all I can think about is how bad stress is for baby. Aaa aargh men. I want wine desperately.

Scone - I had an anovulatory cycle I think the month before I got diffed.
