The important thing about my apt today is the i have prescripton for Clomid in my bag and am on waiting list for IVF. The confusing thing is that fc said short luteal phase is no barrier to successful pregnancy. Does she know what she's talking about?!

Knackered. Very busy at work today so lots of baking to do in the morning. Plus younger sister's best friend who got married after us has just added scan picture announcement on Facebook!
Oh and the dog took a dump in the kitchen! (Upstairs kitchen, not shop kitchen!)

Barking ive been told to take the Clomid CD2-6.Could you call and see if they could fit you in a week earlier? - or, if your hsg all clear, maybe gp could be given go ahead to give you the prescription??

She said the wait for IVF is around 2 to 3 months from something - now? My first apt with th IVF clinic? Yet again I realise what I dont know after leaving! Anyway, 3 cycles of Clomid prescribed.

The IVF seems to happen pretty quickly after first appointment.
Good friend of mine is updiffed from IVF, first attempt failed but second was successful and all took place quite quickly from her first appointment, but not sure if that was because she already had fertilised eggs frozen. (she had cancer so had eggs frozen before chemo)

Had a few people invited so thought coping with fertile friend pg with number 4 would be easy but oh no she chooses tonight to be early rather than her usual late! Luckily her bump isn't too obvious as she is a big girl but I did have to walk away from 3 friends chatting about their baby experiences at one point!!!

That is a while to wait Boom - I don't really know much about pcos, if the large ovary does mean that does it at least mean there's a clear course of treatment?

Cate according to a book I read (Taking Charge of your Fertility) a 10-11 day LP is borderline, may or may not be OK.

But then again if my FC's not completely talking out of her arse which quite frankly I'm not convinced about, it doesn't matter how long or short LP is anyway... Grrr... every time I go to see GP or consultant they seem to say something different not only from everything I've read about charting etc but also completely different from each other!!

My friend posted a pic of her little girl kissing her bare & very large baby bump with the caption kisses for mummy & baby [surname]. Even as an updiffed person that made me & want to puke. If it had been last month I would have sobbed my heart out.
Thx merkin yes dd according to FF is 13 Jan. Feeling pretty rubbish today actually as feel like coming down with a cold & very achey. One thing no one told me till now is that apparently being pg lowers your immune system so you catch every bug going.

Oh tally sorry about AF. Go for it on the weed - medicinal for AF cramps right?! We were at a band night at a pub the other week & I smelt some & it brought back good memories. No chance now or ever again now tho as DP is in the police!

Scone I think it is quite high, but it's the change between before and after that's important. Also for me it took me around 2 or 3 cycles before I had it all working properly. Well either they were all annovulatory at first or I was getting it wrong. For me, as I don't sleep so well sometimes trying to take it at same time each day wasn't working. I've settled into taking it whenever I first wake up instead, meaning that times vary (which isn't what's advised but works for me). Quite personal I think, and I felt it just takes a while to get the routine down.

Charming - you've been about a year off pill/injection/implant haven't you? How long does it normally take to settle down afterwards? Is it Clomid or something else you expect fc to prescribe? Can you switch to NHS when run out of insurance?
