Welcome aboard ladies (though obviously sorry you have to be here). We're a friendly bunch so come in and plump up a cushion for POAS Fridays and lots of posifrickingtivity. With a few (gentle) fish slaps thrown in for good measure.

Ha ha yes, I think that rosé must have seriously addled my mind..Smile. When you said DS17 I did begin to suspect I'd got something seriously wrong!!! Must revise my mumsnet abbreviations Blush

alyant79 · 02/05/2013 08:43

Hahahahahahaha
birds that has really made my morning.
imagine saggy surrounded by 31 children and 5 ponies... Grin

loving the sounds of massages and DIY.
Also v impressed with your injecting of yourself sapphire. Is it very horrible?

Since it's such a lovely looking day today I've brought my running gear to work and intend to go for a run at lunch time. go me!

Thundercatsarego · 02/05/2013 08:45

Hi all

saggy sorry about painful af, sounds rubbish. Good work with the pony bathing and nature theory though.

Have to say I'm with birds - I've seen people put dd3 as in third daughter rather than age. I guess people do both?

Welcome zuid, and sorry you are here. Good to get back on the bandwagon again and it won't take you so long this time- you'll be graduating before you know it.

For my exciting thing- its my blood test result. Have a telephone appointment with the doc tomorrow but the result may be in today so I might just have to ring up just to find out the number today. I know I'm not going to be fixed but just pleased that I'm at the point now that if they're not low enough, I can adjust the meds a bit. Everything takes SO long damnit!

OneLittleToddleTerror · 02/05/2013 09:10

Haha, if saggy indeed has 14 DDs and 17 DSs, she could be on a new show called 31 and counting Grin

Bakingtins · 02/05/2013 09:48

Hope your result is low today thunder

Bakingtins · 02/05/2013 09:48

Saggy trying for your 32nd child is just plain greedy.

alyant79 · 02/05/2013 11:25

thunder let us know how the bloods look.

my nice things for the week done - played badminton tuesday night for the first time since i was about 5 month pg with DD. It was great Grin

Thundercatsarego · 02/05/2013 11:40

Ah that's great aly, who did you play with and were you puffed out?

Thundercatsarego · 02/05/2013 11:46

And just to update, the bloods (tsh) are down to 4.23. So not quite below 2 where I'm heading but they've come down from 15.3 six weeks ago.... I'm going in the right direction!

Bakingtins · 02/05/2013 11:56

That's good, thunder. Did they tweak your dose again?

Thundercatsarego · 02/05/2013 11:58

They haven't tweaked it at all yet. I'm speaking to the doc tomorrow and I expect she'll up it just a little bit. Guess this means I'm still out of the running for at least this month but trying to think positive.

How r u feeling tins?

Bakingtins · 02/05/2013 12:12

Ok thanks. Was a bit stressed yesterday and Tuesday as spent all day waiting for doctors to phone me back, and my sense of urgency is obv a lot greater than theirs. All sorted now and on aspirin, high dose folic acid and progesterone, so all I can do is wait. I have a scan booked in 3 weeks. Just need lots of things to occupy myself until then!

Thundercatsarego · 02/05/2013 12:35

Oh poor you- that's not on making you wait all that time. Good that you've got yourself some meds and a scan booked but yes you are going to have to think up some seriously distracting things! One day at a time Thanks

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 02/05/2013 12:45

Sending you lots of hugs and hopes for a stress free pregnancy Tins. x

katerinaemalina · 02/05/2013 13:28

Geelong everyone I can't keep up with this thread! I hope you are all ok today. I had some good news last fri - a bfp. I have been too scared to tell anyone - even you lot - as I think I will jinx it. But I thought well if it happens again you will know anyway and also I hope it might be a nice bit of posifrickingtivity too. Lets hope it stays. An now scared to death and constantly checking my pants! I do have some symptoms which reassures me a little but otherwise ill be hovering here for a good while yet! Love to you all and good luck poas tmw xx

katerinaemalina · 02/05/2013 13:29

Geelong meant hello! Autocorrect rubbish!!

Bakingtins · 02/05/2013 14:21

Katerina congratulations! Come to the grads thread. I decided this time round there is no point waiting. Won't be joining a January bus, but the grads from here will all have been equally anxious. They have a mantra "today I am pregnant" because taking it one day at a time is all you can do.

alyant79 · 02/05/2013 15:34

kat that's great!
but what's with all this secret POASing?

thunder that's really great news from your bloods. That sounds to me like a fabulous drop in just 6 weeks, and you're not far now from where you need to be. Wonderful.

Who is POAS tomorrow?

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 02/05/2013 16:03

Congratulations Kat. Grin. That's brilliant.

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 02/05/2013 16:12

I, on the other hand am having the AF from hell now! Confused this had better be my post MC clear out, before the final push to a BFP!

GuffSmuggler · 02/05/2013 16:42

I'm also having an awful post ERPC period, really hope it's a big clear out too leaving a lovely extra fertile uterus Grin

Good news on the results thunder onwards and upwards! and congrats katerina let's keep those BFPs coming!

Rockchick1984 · 02/05/2013 17:16

Saggy and Guff when did you both have ERPC? Mine was 10th April, didn't bleed until a week later and it only stopped 5 days ago so no idea when to expect mine! We are back to TTC (well, not trying to prevent at least) so there's a little part of me that's hoping I get pregnant and AF never rears her ugly head :)

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 02/05/2013 17:22

I didn't have an ERPC. I miscarried at the beginning of February naturally. I've had 2 AFs since but they were quite small. I was worried they weren't quite right deep down, so hopefully this big clear out will put me back on track.

Rockchick1984 · 02/05/2013 17:32

Hopefully it'll get everything back to normal for you Saggy

katerinaemalina · 02/05/2013 19:10

I didn't say last week, as I am that scared that it wouldn't stick Hmm- still am. I hope some more bfps come tomorrow and we can get some positivity from it. It's such a scary time of just agonising waiting. Am so pleased but now worried about falling from higher height if it happens again.

Anyway, saggy rubbish AF - maybe cycle will be back on track from here?

Am on phone so can't scroll so can't see rest of thread but am still here and holding hands with you all xx
