Ooh vocal could you be tempted to test on fertile Friday? Grin

ChristineDaae · 20/03/2013 09:42

Hi all, not been around much but had to come and moan to someone who would understand... EVERYONE is pregnant Hmm I have fond out in the last week, all 3 of my friends who were pregnant with me when I had my daughter are all pregnant! One due right around the time I should have been. So so mad at the world!

katerinaemalina · 20/03/2013 10:07

Vocalist I hate poas but am crumbling - may test fri otherwise may go bonkers. Am now googling every little pseudo symptom.

Christine yup feel the same and the added kick is they weren't desperate for a baby either. Try hard not to descend into mess of jealousy though. Try to think it will be me soon and when it is all fine you will be even more happy. Got to have hard parts to appreciate the great Grin

HotCrossCatPuss · 20/03/2013 10:47

Hang in there girls, it's fertile Friday really soon. Who knows which of us will get BFPs and join the ranks of the PG! And there's always next week. Our turn will come! To quote all of the really annoying sympathy givers, we know we can do it...
Where's your Posifrickintivity?!

HotCrossCatPuss · 20/03/2013 10:48

And just think, lots of friends with slightly older babies means lots of lovely barely used hand me downs! Wink Grin

LittleBairn · 20/03/2013 11:04

bakng I agree the CBM is probably better are helping you understand your cycle. I still haven't got the OV sign yet on day 13 I don't think I will get it this cycle at all. I'm certain Ovulation was actually day 11 the only day we didn't DTD. I pretty annoyed at myself for not trusting the signs my body was giving me bit at least if no BFP this month I'm going into next month better prepared.

It will be strange for us if I get pregnant this month giving a due month of Dec, December is when we lost our DS, buried him and received his PM results. I'm not sure how I would feel about that but at the same time their is no way I would skip a month TTC.

On a positive note I've started Knitting baby things again because I WILL be having a baby at some point. And I totally loose my knitting mojo when pregnant. It actually makes me happy to do something productive for my future DC.

HotCrossCatPuss · 20/03/2013 11:49

Ooh, I thought I was the only one with a knitting fetish! I am dying to start knitting wee things, but am worried DP will think Ive lost it! Confused

IBelieveInPink · 20/03/2013 11:57

Omg I knit too! I haven't been able to face it for a while, but my friends due date is getting closer (same week as my first mc was due) and I need to make her something! So picked it up again this weekend.
DH calls me grandma when I knitting. I will use this as evidence that it is not just me!!!

ChristineDaae · 20/03/2013 12:00

Thanks ladies. On the plus side it's given us a but if a kick up the bum, we've been slacking a but on the TTC. That's it now, we are on a mission. I WILL hav a new baby before my wedding!Angry

LittleBairn · 20/03/2013 12:11

Ibelieve lol all my family take the mick too. I've been knitting since I was 24 all the cool kids do it! Wink

Well I just go a shock. Not long after posting about PM results my consultant called to say he's reviewed everything and he now feels that I should take Asprin in pregnancy. Originally we agreed I wouldn't because I have a stomach ulcer, usually fairly dormant expect when pregnancy it goes flares up.
But he said he saw changes fairly early ( not sure what he's writing to us) and that I shouldn't wait until 12 weeks until I started on Asprin I should start early.

Does anyone else take Asprin and/or take it before 12 weeks?
I understand the roll of Asprin but not why it's now recommended for me. Confused

Feel a bit shaken hat rely was a call out of the blue, 3 months since we last spoke!

HotCrossCatPuss · 20/03/2013 12:59

Little that sounds positive. One more thing not to worry about. I asked about aspirin, but the GP I saw said I didn't need it. I don't think he knew much about it, but EPAU said they will see me early next time, so I can ask then.

fod27 · 20/03/2013 13:26

*christine I totally understand....it's the whole "oh just fuck off! It's not fair! It should be us" thing

I even swear at the baby adverts on telly now, your not alone and you will get there xxxx hugs xxxxx

Thanks jmf it's a horrible time and as he won't talk it's sooo frustrating plus he's smoking, drinking and had a tattoo! Which is making me so angry!! He should be looking after himself more than ever now....then in all his wisdom he has created a page on Facebook called 'me and my cancer' I just feel as though he should be telling us that stuff and not his looser friends in fb!!! Sorry rant over

Hope everyone is having a better day than me xxx

HotCrossCatPuss · 20/03/2013 13:27

OOH! Much darker line on the OPK today. Not quite as dark as the control line, but close. Exactly 14 days after my first heavy AF day.

ACTION STATIONS! ACTION STATIONS! STAND BY YOUR BEDS! Grin

LittleBairn · 20/03/2013 13:51

hotcross think its your man you need to stand buy not your bed. Wink

LittleBairn · 20/03/2013 13:56

fod I may come across as a complete bitch but I wouldn't be putting myself through the ordeal of giving bone marrow and stopping TTC for someone who won't properly take care of their health. If I was sacrificing so much I would be expecting him to make his own sacrifices NO smoking or alcohol at all, health eating and following Drs orders. Doing everything in his power to stay healthy and activily fight against the cancer.

HotCrossCatPuss · 20/03/2013 14:21

Nah, laying down is better for conception! Wink Grin

LittleBairn · 20/03/2013 14:40

Grin oh trust me afterwards even DH is "nnnooooo you can't get up keep lyng down..."

katerinaemalina · 20/03/2013 15:35

I put pillows under my bum and stay there for 10 mins lol so sexy!

HotCrossCatPuss · 20/03/2013 15:39

I stick my Mooncup in after! Blush keeps everything where it needs to be and stops the Erm... Mess! Grin

GardenWorm · 20/03/2013 15:54

Tins am impressed with your Drs, sounds like a very comprehensive list!

So how many are there for this Fertile Friday?

fod27 · 20/03/2013 16:45

hot what is this mooncup??? Please share hahaa
little I don't think that at all, the same thought has crossed my mind too but I feel so guilty about it x

Mummytothearkbuilder · 20/03/2013 17:13

Hey ladies, hope you are all having cracking Wednesdays!!

I too am intrigued by the mooncup - what is this?? I am imagining all kinds of strange things!! I have started putting pillows under my bum and staying put for 10mins after too - its not exactly romantic!!

saggy - excellent news on the opk - I was so excited when mine started to get darker on Friday - bless my DH though I was so excited he thought I had got a BFP preganancy test - oops!!

Fod - so sorry you are having a rough time with your brother - my brother is a similar age and I honestly cant imagine what you are going through - sending hugs and positive thoughts xx

Good luck to any fertile friday testers - if AF doesnt make an appearance I could be joining you next Friday (fingers crossed) - i'm not quite sure when to start counting my DPO - I got a positive OPK on Friday so does that make me 5DPO - oh the confusion of ttc drives me mad!! The timing between ovulation and AF varies cycle on cycle for me (once it was only 7 days) and I am already dreading AF arriving - I have a bit of back ache and convinced myself it was all over today when it is probably just the rubbish chair I have at work!!

xx

Vocalista86 · 20/03/2013 17:15

You ladies have persuaded me.. In fact I've just picked up 2 of Superdrug's finest tests. It'll be the day before Af is due though. I'm saving my clear blue digital to confirm my positive WHEN I get it... Even of not this month.

I'm so hopeful as if it's not this month I won't be able to help thinking that it's going to be more difficult for us than I thought.

So tempted to test tomorrow now I have the sticks!!

icklemssunshine1 · 20/03/2013 17:36

A moon cup is for the socially conscious of us out there who are doing a bit for the planet by not using sanitary towels or tampons & using a "cup" to collect our menstrual blood. I for one am lazy & unco-ordinated & no doubt end up with major leakage so I'll continue to destroy the planet!

HotCrossCatPuss · 20/03/2013 17:44

I'm not any of those things Ickle I'm an old bird who at one point was getting periods so heavy she needed to use 3 super tampons at once!! It was costing a fortune and wasn't doing the sceptic tank any favours, so I switched to a moon cup. It's great, if slightly leaky, but now instead of 57 tampons, I can manage on a Mooncup and a small pack or pant liners! Grin
Moon ups are bloody marvellous. My cramps are much less horrible now too.
