Ladies - a brand new lovely shiny thread for us to fill! Enjoy x

OP posts:
icklemssunshine1 · 20/03/2013 18:24

Maybe I should switch too (periods aren't too heavy I'm just bloody tight)!! :)

HotCrossCatPuss · 20/03/2013 18:57

I seriously love my mooncup. Its not perfect, but then what is, but its a damned sight better than tampons or towels, and the risk of toxic shock is greatly reduced. And its always funny to see DPs face when he finds me giving it it's monthly boil in its special saucepan on the hob!
But anyway. None of us here are going to need a mooncup for anything other than post DTD mess prevention. So I'll shut up now! Grin

ChocolateCremeEggBag · 20/03/2013 19:01

Evening all

I'm a knitter too! Well a pretty rubbish one (I'm chocolateteabag on ravelry if you want to look me up)

Christine - just found out my Sil is pg and due in Nov Sad and my other SIL is about to pop next month, so everyone is all about the new babies.
Having said that, HotCCP is right about the hand me downs, far better to be the one on the receiving end, plus you get to see what is worth shelling out for and what is pants. DS is the youngest of my immediate friends and has a fine second hand wardrobe and toy selection and cheap parents

Cd9 for me and the start of CBfM POAS-ing. Bored of it already, want to be doing fertile Friday tests already

icklemssunshine1 · 20/03/2013 19:09

Puss that's hysterical, own "special" saucepan. Do you having bubbling alongside your veg?! Ha ha!

Here's to no more AF's though!! Looking forward to seeing if anyone gets a BFP this week. Been 3 weeks since my ERPC & have DTD a few times when registered positive on OPK, althought this was at 2 weeks post ERPC & have since read this could be just diminishing hormones. V confused! Shall I POAS next Friday or just wait (& wait & wait) to see if AF shows?

Aaaaah!!!!!

HotCrossCatPuss · 20/03/2013 19:34

I would POAS next week. Its 2 weeks from ovulation, so it seems right to me!
I seem to be ovulating some time soon, so Im looking at POAS around the 3rd or 4th April if AF doesnt appear first! It doesnt seem to be getting any closer! Sad

LittleBairn · 20/03/2013 19:52

katerina I do that too and stay minimum an hour but try to DTD before bedtime so I'm in bed all night. Blush

hotcross that's a genius idea! I don't own one but might buy one now....

Chocolate I've friended you on Raverly my user name on their starts with a H.

Does anyone else's DH have not baths?
DH LOVES baths but he's trying to avoid them during TTC week but roast his baby making bits every other day of the month.
I know it's not great in general but how much damage does it really do to the average guy?

HotCrossCatPuss · 20/03/2013 20:07

Id love to lie with a pillow under my bum, but I have to be careful! DP did NOT want any more DCs, then when I got PG in january, he had a change of heart. He saw how happy I was, how great our teens were and how positive everyone was, and said we could try again.
But I really dont want to freak him out. Ive been keeping the OPKs really low key, and not pressuring him too much to DTD.

Also for my own sanity I need to not become obsessive. I'm just coming out from under the black cloud of MC misery and I need to keep some balance, no matter how much I want this.

WillSantaComeAgain · 20/03/2013 20:48

Am I the only POAS this Friday? I don't think that I can cope with the pressure ladies!

Thundercatsarego · 20/03/2013 20:50

I should've been, santa, af is due tomorrow or fri (of I'm getting back to normal). Don't think there's any hope for me tho Sad I'll be with you for moral support though x

HotCrossCatPuss · 20/03/2013 20:52

Whats the matter Thunder? Remember posifrickintivity! Wink

Floweroct · 20/03/2013 20:53

Sod it, Santa ill join you! It's probably too early 10dpo but can't wait til the Friday after and I can't go breaking the rules :)

Thundercatsarego · 20/03/2013 20:56

Well, thyroid stimulating hormone levels should be less than 2 to conceive really, (upper limit of the range is 3-5) and mine was 15.5 a couple of weeks ago! That's why Wink

IBelieveInPink · 20/03/2013 21:00

I can poas again Santa if you like!! I think I know what it may say though, almost just chucked up my dinner. Again. :)

Thundercatsarego · 20/03/2013 21:02

How are you doing pinky? apart from the near-vomit

Bakingtins · 20/03/2013 21:04

Chin up, thunder it will get sorted soon then you are good to go. I know it must be frustrating but at least you know what the problem is and it's very treatable. When's your next blood test?

MrsSpencerReid · 20/03/2013 21:05

Hello, today was another bad day Hmm but I will poas on Friday in support of whoever else was! AF due sat but I don't think I ovulated this month Hmm hope everyone is making lots of babies or at least having fun trying Wink

HotCrossCatPuss · 20/03/2013 21:05

Argh! Sorry thunder I forgot.
Soon... {hug}

Thundercatsarego · 20/03/2013 21:07

Thanks tins, yeah I'm not too sad really- starting to get my head around it now. Just don't want to be on this thread all alone because you'll all have graduated and left me long behind.

Next blood test supposed to be 2 months but I'm now armed with more info (thanks to the other MNers) so arranged to speak to dr next week and hope to get it done much sooner!

HotCrossCatPuss · 20/03/2013 21:10

{hugs} for MrsS too. Good luck for friday. And remember the POSIFRICKINTIVITY! Grin

Thundercatsarego · 20/03/2013 21:12

No apology needed for me hot I'm ok really. Just a moaning old biddy.

IBelieveInPink · 20/03/2013 21:12

Hey thunder. Symptoms galore over here, which is keeping me happy for the time being although I know it means nothing

Still freaking out daily, but trying to be productive rather than panicking. Booking lots of distraction stuff in to keep me busy.
And got my mw appointment, and paid for a private scan as the hag midwife wouldn't give me one so all sorted. Now just wait and see!

HotCrossCatPuss · 20/03/2013 21:12

*Thunder, you'll never be alone. As one graduates, another turns up. And you wont be here forever. We will ALL do this.

Bakingtins · 20/03/2013 21:15

Well I have about 3m of tests ahead of me then it's taken 5-12m TTC before now so I'll probably be here long after you! There will be resounding cheers from over here when you get your BFP. You can't alter the delay to get your levels right other than by being tested quicker, so make peace with it and be confident that once that TSH is low there will be no stopping you.

Thundercatsarego · 20/03/2013 21:26

Yeah thanks girls, you are lovely. hot I know unfortunately there will always be people joining this thread but you lot (and all that have recently graduated) are my friends!

tins I reckon we should go together!

pink that sounds like a good pma and some positive action. Am pleased!

shellshock7 · 20/03/2013 21:41

tins and thunder you'll get there, you're seeing the right people and we're here in the mean time Smile

pink loving the symptoms Grin good to hear all your posifrickintivity!
