And also because I am on the computer to plan lessons and am therefore desperately doing anything but I have put up photos of my last cycle and current cycle charts. I am convinced that last cycle I Ov two days before FF tells me I did. This cycle I had opk + on CD17 and was convinced I Ov on CD18 (definite Ov cramps), but my temps only went up today, CD20. However, following the same combination of CBFM pattern + FF prediction from last cycle, I would be Ov tomorrow!! So basically, my prediction is again 2 days out from FF's prediction. If anyone is really bored you can probably see what I'm talking about here:

PIMP...Grin! I love it! We all need to get PIMPing on this thread. (Although I'm now very worried that I'm going to have Jay-Z 'Big Pimpin' in my head all day; surely a serious contender for the worst song ever.)

Cheers Boodle < heavy sarcasm implied >. For some reason I've now got the lyric 'ev'ry day I'm hustling' going round my head. That's not even the right song but I seemed to spring right into it. That's not going to help me plan an outstanding SEAL lesson for tomorrow morning now is it? < turns teacher stare uselessly onto Boodle who can probably deflect it with a better one >.

Unless your SEAL lesson is about the prevalent misogyny in popular music, probably not.

My bad.

Barking we can't see your pics - you need to make them/your profile visible to others

Report

Ah, hadn't realised I had to make the profile visible to make the photos visible.
Try now?

Right I can see them now (just as MN makes all pics tiny - if you can copy the actually FF link for your chart into the thread as it will make them not require a magnifying glass).

From what I can see (squinting) I would have had you potentially O-ing earlier last month too, and i suspect you'll get crosshairs CD19 this month (although why is the high temp an open circle?). After this month you'll also have a clear idea of your LP (which never changes) and can count back on previous charts to understand when you did O and therefore what your pattern looks like.

I'm not a paid up member of FF so thought I couldn't share charts? I just use the app.

Open circle as I thought setting an alarm for 7am when sharing a hotel room with someone I don't know very well after a night on the town on a hen do was a little antisocial, so temp was taken at 7.30am instead which of course wasn't antisocial at all. I've taken temps at 7am before, gone straight back to sleep and taken again at 8am with no change (just to check, out of curiosity sad person that I am , so I don't think it's misrepresentative.

I've been temping for months, and the charts generally have a very clear coverline, and more often than not, a very clear temp surge. This does not give a steady LP though!! It's never less than 7 and never more than 9, but can vary between them. Am I strange? Shock

If you log in online to FF (which you can do even if not paid), view your chart and right click. Select copy image URL and you should e able to paste that here

It's impossible (as near as damnit) for your LP to change hence that's your clearest indicator of O when you look back at old charts

Ignore that about LP length, it appears I may be wrong...

There is (for VIP members, which I used for the free trial period) a row for shortest, longest and average LP in your cycle stats, which is why I thought it was normal to vary (but only slightly).

Report
CatsCantFlyFast · 10/03/2013 16:00

Yeah i've been labouring under the misapprehension that it didn't vary. Anyways yes your link worked. I would say by that chart that you for sure O'd on CD18 with a 12day LP.

Report
barkingtreefrog · 10/03/2013 16:11

Eh? Confused I thought CD20, rather than FF's CD22, with an 11 day LP (which is why I was convinced last month I was pg given it was way longer than average).

Maybe my LP's are getting longer? Which means I have a better chance of getting pg!

I've decided btw that this cycle will be my BFP, brought on purely by positive thinking although was being v negative at that nasty hen do so maybe next month should be my BFP positive thinking month instead.

Well I'm out. On the way to do errands, DH and I passed by a restaurant full of happy families out for Mother's Day, and he made an Aww how sweet remark, which made me teary. Then got crampy which was much more distressing. And now my period has started, which just seems like the most cosmically cruel joke possible. Bastarding UK Mummies' Day!

So no PIMP needed (at Merkin that did raise a tiny smile from me) bc you can't really argue with blood in your knickers.

Better luck to the rest of you xx
Might hibernate for a while bc I think this is all starting to affect me really badly.

Sonics on first look i'm going to bet your erratic temps are to do with the times you're taking them... you have a lot of open circles however as just proven a minute ago I could be entirely wrong! When you come back later lets have a chat over wine and biscuits
Sidney sorry love (((hugs))) Don't give up hope, this could be day 1 of your shiny BFP cycle. Go and hug your sofa with some crap TV and DH cuddles x
