Me first this time. Smile

It may only be May 4th, but I'm out for this month (although technically AF due 30th May - I just like starting new threads).

Thanks Jenswish. What is the state of play with you?
Welcome Alexh. You never know? Miracles do happen!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you? Are you getting any symptoms?

alexh · 09/06/2006 12:16

Indigestion. and tired. But am always tired. Have 11 month old DS.....last time felt sick v early. But guess you can have different symptoms with different pregnancies?

Jenswish · 09/06/2006 12:22

Different symptoms different pgs, but never say never alexh, stranger things have happened (as I was told, lol)

SOL, I'm TTC since Jan but not TTCing very well, lol. I'm not putting enough effort into it really. You?

alexh · 09/06/2006 12:26

Virtually no effort here as TBH don't really want to conceive till about September (fancy a 2 yr age gap) and finances mean that would be better to have maternity leave later in the year rather than earlier. Only BD'd once this month (another reason why I think v unlikely) but that's all it took for DS.....

Sexonlegs · 09/06/2006 12:38

Have dd now 3, and only been ttc for 2 months, but frustrated by it all! As conceived dd in the first month, we have set ourselves a precedent! Trouble is, I am heading for 36 and I think things have slowed down a bit!

alexh · 09/06/2006 12:39

I am nearly 38 so should really be trying like mad given advanced age....

Jenswish · 09/06/2006 12:43

thats not old nowadays tho is it. I mean it is if you think of all the teenage pgs etc but then there is loads of actual grannies who are having kids now. lol

I'm 21 (22 on 29th Grin)
DP is 31

TTC since Jan 06 but only Bd'ing once or so a month at the mo till I get new job.

Sexonlegs · 09/06/2006 12:50

You're right; it isn't that old, but I do think my system has slowed down a bit.
Anyway, let's keep at it, and see what happens eh?
xx

peachygirl · 09/06/2006 13:01

WOW CONGRATULATIONS Mazaa and Tuttifrutti. Heres hoping you have a happy and healthy 9 more months!
Wannabe pussycat hasn't been arond for a while. The email i sent you and trace was bounced back to me from her.I'll try again her later
love to all

hairycaterpillar · 09/06/2006 13:26

Thanks everyone for your best wishes and advice etc. Think I'm due mid Feb. so will pop across to the due Feb thread...but will pop in to see how you're all doing. Happy BDing and hope to hear of more bfp's soon Smile.

xx

Sexonlegs · 09/06/2006 13:28

I am getting all emotional with all these bfp's and people moving off the thread!
Come on everyone, let's see what we can do!!!

coggy · 09/06/2006 14:37

I'm feeling stuck..like I might be here forever!

Sexonlegs · 09/06/2006 14:44

You and me both Coggy! Mind you, it is so lovely to have mumsnet to be able to share our woes as it were - kind of makes things a bit better!

trace2 · 09/06/2006 14:46

well i feel like I HAVE BEEN HERE FOR EVER, me peachy and pussycat and wannbe all joined the jan thread together, and still here

Natty1806 · 09/06/2006 15:07

i am still here too, even though i do not post much on this thread.

been trying since last July and since being told at end of Feb that i do not ovulate, i have not really been ttc as i can't but yet still everyone still asks are you pregnant yet - even though they know the situation - [angy]

Oh well wishing the weeks away for hospital appointment.

We will all get there in the end, at least we will build up e-mail friendships along the way.

Sexonlegs · 09/06/2006 15:08

Trace2, you are quite right. Hopecat has been hanging around for a while as well hasn't she. I am relatively new in the grand scheme of things - it just feels like an eternity!!

trace2 · 09/06/2006 15:37

yes she as ive been ttc for 15 months but joined the jan thread! but we are all in the same boat wanting a baby, lets just hope we all get our bfp , soner rather than later!,

Hopecat · 09/06/2006 16:14

Afternoon all. I've finally come in out of the sunshine to check on you all, and 2 BFPs! Huge congratulations Maazaa & Tuttifrutti Grin

Welcome alexh - fingers crossed for you. Smile

Sorry some of you lot are feeling frustrated. I'm right there with you. (Although it's hard to feel too sorry for myself when the weather's this fantastic, I've got the afternoon off and me & DH are having particularly good sex at the moment (not RIGHT this moment - too hard to type at the same time Wink)).

Coggy, Trace, Sexonlegs, Natty, Jenswish, Peachy, Pussycat - we will NOT be here forever. We will make it to the antenatal threads.

We've actually decided that if we don't manage to conceive we will try to adopt. So chidren are part of our future one way or another.

Off to the hairdressers now. La la.

Natty1806 · 09/06/2006 16:42

Well miss positive - you have managed to cheer me up, we must all try this positive angle, however sat in a hot office all day does not help when alls you wanna do is sunbath.

Oh well getting drunk tomorrow, watching the football (well talking to other girlies in the pub) and sitting in the sun. lovely Smile

suzi2 · 09/06/2006 17:34

I took another test this morning (Savers chemist cheapie) and it was a BFP - still quite faint but since AF is now technically late, I'm going to shuffle on accross to Feb07. Looks like I conceived around CD19 when EWCM came back and I thought it was too late for ov. So never stop babydancing! Grin

coggy · 09/06/2006 18:20

LOL at you Hopecat!!
Glad you made me laugh, just found out that a good friend of mine is 11 weeks pg.

Hopecat · 09/06/2006 19:09

Congrats suzi2! Grin

Natty - you're right - I wouldn't be nearly as cheerful if I was stuck in an office. Weekend's here now though!

Sorry you've got a PG friend to cope with coggy (although glad for your friend obviously).

I'm having a guinness now. Reckon the high iron content cancels out the alcohol.

Possibly.

Congrats Suzi!!!!SmileSmileSmile

You have really given me hope as I'm sure I ov sometime between days 19 and 21 which seemed really late, but you never knowSmile.

Somehow I doubt I'll be that lucky though!

peachygirl · 09/06/2006 21:35

congratulations suzi! This thread has been a very positive one.

Sexonlegs · 09/06/2006 23:03

Fantastic Suzi - really great news.
Everyone is dropping off gradually.
Emjoy the sun, football and any bd action that may be occuring.
