Just relooked at the tests. The faint line is much clearer and definately has some pink to it. Am I right in thinking that evap lines have no colour?

So it looks like a BFP but considering I have the worst crampy peroid pain ever I can't imagine that it is going to stick more than a few days.

I agree Hopecat and Suzi, will cut right down on alcohol and caffeine just in case. Am going to a wine tasting tonight but will try to remember to spit it out...

The digital test sounds a good idea but I remember reading somewhere that they are less sensitive than normal tests, so might leave it a few days - if I can bear to!!! I've got 2 preg tests in my bathroom cupboard as well left over from last time - just bog standard cheapo ones - it's a good thing they have long expiry dates!

Oooooo congrats Suzi2 and Tuttifrutti! It's hard to believe isn't it.

I caved again wasnt going to test until w/end but on way out door to work dh suggested I do another test...well he didnt need to ask twice! This time it was a definate bfp....wooohooo I am actually pg, i still dont think it's sunk in!!

On CD20 today and managed a sneaky bd with dh before the builder arrived to talk about the extension!

hey suzi.....just in a quandry....

TMI alert. I thought AF was on way yesterday due to pinky colouring in pant area. Addressed as if AF with sanitary ware and when checked later, not much at all.

Set off for work this a.m, with tampon is situ in case it started big time. Checked later...this time NOTHING.

Did pg test, and have the absolute faintest line. Is Boots own. Firm horizontal line and very faint vertical line.

Sorry third thread in row. Got other test out of packet to hold up to the light and compare. Line has appeared a little more during evening, but then that could just be the test contaminated. DH gone out to Tesco for more reliable/expensive tests. Tis unlikely to be positive cos we only bd'd 2 or 3 times due to bad month timing and I have been feeling "PMT" for 9 days now, which is something of a record for me, but def PMT sore boobs, weepy, sleepy. Am sure am reading into this faint faint blue line.......

I feel very excited for you as EXACTLY the same thing happened to me when I feel pg with my ds.
I put in a tampon after I thought AF had begun but it was only a tiny bit and then nothing on the tampon.

A year amd a half later (and by using MN) I discovered about implantation bleeds - never knew abput them then but that's what mine was for sure.

I wish you were still around to chat to!!!!!!

Tesco is a few minutes away, but he will be gone an hour as he is fetching provisions for a World Cup boys only weekend - I am being uprooted to my parents for weekend!!

I need a wee now!!!!! We did it at 7pm or so, not been since. Have spare test from Boots.

have wasted £3 and done the other one in packet whilst he is out.....thick clear horizontal line (ie BFN) with very faint background line, but so faint is could just be wear the strip of stuff is, showing darker cos of the urine

i meant WHERE the strip is, not wear. am losing ability to spell.

It sounds hopeful. I'm in a similar quandry TBH. With DS the line was strong and my AF pain kept coming and going but wasnt' too sore. This time I feel like I'm coming on big style!

At least we know one thing - if you have a coloured line then sperm has met egg and it has implanted. Technically - YOU ARE PREGNANT!!! :-D

Just read your latest - aparently a true evaporation line takes a while to appear. So it's likely that it's a BFP. If you stick with me I'm testing again on Sat . If you wait a day or two it should be more obvious. I still reckon you're pg though!
