I take a test monthly - sometimes more than one. It's an expensive hobby! Can anyone tell me where I can get good cheap pregnancy tests?

You can get a big bag of the strips from inside the usual Clearblue-type tests. These ones, for example.

They do work, gave me my BFP with my DS.

Poundland. THey are "dip tests" but its 2 for a pound

Online. I think mine come from Access Diagnostics but loads of places sell them cheaply online.

The 99p store had packs of 2 or 3 (for 99p, surprisingly)

I'm thinking the Internet might be a good place to get some - that way I have to wait for them to be delivered before I take one Grin

Possibly a daft question, but have you thought about trying not to test? I know that I (almost 3 years TTC without success) find a negative test far more upsetting than the arrival of AF, so I don't test until my period is at least a day late.

Obviously it takes willpower and the only way I can do that is to have no tests in the house!

Ebay.
They cost pennies

WakeyCakey · 06/03/2013 10:52

I got loads off amazon, ones like the little strips on the link and normal stick ones.

Only problem I get is that they are in the house so I test way more often than I should! For instance this morning 1 week into 2ww and got a BFN-I knew it would be- total waste of test!!

Not testing is a lot easier when there aren't tests hovering around the house!

eBay. I got 20 for £2-3 including shipping. If you buy more it is even cheaper. Amazon 3rd party sellers would be my other choice. The highstreet shops like pound land is a rip off.

Thanks everyone that is great Grin

I do try and wait - but I don't have a regular cycle length and can therefore convince myself I'm late every month! (It ranges from 30-40 days).
