We've run out of room on Karbea's Jan IVF thread and it is too much fun to stop! We're all getting into comfy clothes and enjoying the side effects and surprises (and occasionally some hand holding).

In line with the ups and downs of this thread, I have also been boob prodding today, hoping they are getting less sore to indicate my hormone levels are dropping!

Just for the bloody hell of it, I've had a good old squeeze of my bristols. I am pleased to report that whilst compact, they are a damn fine pair. Grin.

Anyway, I've put them down for a minute to post.....

Scan today saw 11 follies, 3 of which are over 20mm so we're good to go. The nurse initially said I should go in for EC on Wednesday but my lining is only at 6.5 mm and they want to see it at 8 mm so my consultant had delayed it to Thursday. Anyone have experience of this ? The nurse said they were still pleased with my progress as (gulp) there was a chance that with my amh, it may have been cancelled due to poor response.

So, as they say in Harlem, the Bronx and all good Oxbridge colleges, this shit just got real.

I will ask after EC as I am curious a right nosey bitch who loves to worry about all this but not right now. It does make you feel like a fecking failure when they go on about it though, doesn't it ?

Noks...sounds like you have a good crop too...a day to get your lining up is normal.. My doc said they would do that but in the end the lining came good

Still no date from clinic...I've also been getting pain in my bum/bowel area...warning about to share TMI...it's like I can feel my poo forming...I don't always need to go but it's like a dull ache almost a cramp and very uncomfortable. I've not had it this evening so maybe it's going. Anyone else experienced anything similar?

Just read that back sounds gross! Sorry!

Nice growing Noks. I can't help on the lining ishoo. Years of heavy periods apparently have the upside that I have a great lining. Although I guess that may change post-mc. They seem to do strange things to some people.

I'm now getting some quite evil cramps although no bleeding yet, but I am really hoping that this is the start and the worst will be over before I have to sit on a plane for 9 hrs at the weekend. Come on.

nok what brilliant news on the follies. My clinic say lining of 7mm by the way. My ET is 6.30am your time tomorrow. Good luck for your trigger tonight. Ooh I just remembered with one of my iuis my lining was a bit thin and the doc said the hcg trigger would help thicken it.

Am willing it all to start and be over quickly, euro

noks/Scarlet my amh was 2.6 which they said is totally normal, so must be on another scale, normal is 2-6.8.

I think chic is Friday or Sat OTD.

My boobs are so sore and painful. And the nipples are just awful. Since before the pessaries, but getting worse. And I feel so grumpy and reclusive.

scar are you on the wax bullets now?

keep yes there are 2 measurement scales as I learnt when googling mine Grin I started pessaries last night, OH loved the terms bum bullets and uses it at all opportunities Hmm

euro will you go back for another scan?

Morning all!

What a lot of news over night.

Noks - great news on the follie action. It is real and it's very exciting. This is what we have been preparing for. Could acupuncture help with lining? When is the trigger? I'm so excited for you.

Scarlett - I hope you are feeling less sore. Any news on your eggies? Do you have an idea about ET? Blimey you must be on the edge of your seat.

Keep - goodness you will have had ET by now. What an achievement! Does it feel a relief to get over each hurdle? Do you feel ok? Did you have some good embies to freeze as well?

Honty - I hope you are ok. Sounds very uncomfortable. The waiting must be awful. I hope the clinic pull their finger out and give you some support.

Euro - gosh I feel for you. I hope it is over quickly and you can start to move on. You have been through do much and you are always so supportive of us all. Thank you for being so generous.

I hope the shazlett is ok in there. I think she must be constructing some kind of den for herself cause there is a lot of cramping and stretching going on. I woke up at 3.15 with what felt like terrible period pain. I then lay awake for hours with 1. The pain and 2. The worry about the pain. Somehow I resisted getting out of bed to get my phone to check in with dr google and this morning it all seems to have calmed down. I did google it this morning (obviously) and it appears that the uterus doubles in size in a few weeks so I guess that's it. There is no blood so I hope it's ok.

I have booked a doctor appt for next week to register and get the ball rolling and an appt with a nutritionist on Friday to check about this diet that I'm on for my other health condition. I'm worried shazlett will miss out if I'm eliminating things from my diet.

Mr S and I have decided to take shazlett on her first holiday after the scan. I have already booked the time off work cause I thought it was going to be the 2ww so we are going up go away on our own to relax and talk about some of the decisions that are ahead.

I'm still keen to meet up with whoever fancies it. Maybe in a few weeks when Noks has had her ET (I think you are the last one no?)

Have a good day lovely ladies. I'm off to work. It was hard concentrating y'day. When my boss was asking me to do things I kept wanting to say 'really? Look at how many f**ks I give? Do you know what I've got going on?'

scarlett I'll only have another scan if things don't seem to be progressing. Otherwise from what I have read online, you should just to a test a couple of weeks after you started bleeding and if that is negative, you should be ok.

shazz the worrying never stops! I know exactly what you mean about concentrating. I felt very happy and smug about my little secret.

Sorry about the sore boobs, keep. Mine didn't really get going until a few days after BFP. They were less sore than usual during the 2ww, despite the extra progesterone.

Annoyingly, my cramps don't seem to have achieved much, despite their evilness. I had some brown tinged CM last night, which I usually get an hour or two before AF starts, so I was hopeful that things were kicking off. And then woke up to find I had leaked pink watery fluid but the cramps had stopped and there had been no bleeding. I'm guessing the cramps might have burst the little sac and the fluid was the liquid from that, but I still have the rest of it to come. I have more acu planned for tomorrow to try to hurry things alone. I hope this wasn't too much of an overshare! I'm just trying to think through what is going on as I type.

Euro - its never too much to share. This is us remember. We've all been through so much together in such a short time. Thats one of the reasons why you girls are so great. euro if you can manage it, and since we are oversharing anyway, sex always brings on AF with me (only when it is about 'time' of course, not every time we have sex, that would be well annoying).

Hmmm. I thought it was dangerous to dtd once mc bleeding had started (infection risk)? I had been planning on it last weekend, but Mr euro had food poisoning and now it might be too late!

Well they said late morning and it's nearly afternoon now so I've pretty much convinced myself it's not good news,else they would've called by now...

They've called, Aparently the eggs fertilised in an abnormal way so not suitable for transfer, basically I have bad eggs.
