Put on your vest/shades and grab your weapons, it's Action Hero Time.

The BESH are experts in all matters action, but specialise in taking out the local droids and sometimes Druids Wink

Cover me, I'm going in!

Oh God, the luxury of just realising. And then being one of those women who has a scan and discovers she is four months already.

On way for first tracking scan. Then on to Wales to AMNH. With a rucksack full of drugs.

EuroShagmore · 08/02/2013 10:22

Yippikayay, soon to be mothers.

TWinklyLittleStar · 08/02/2013 10:31

You can't know that it hasn't worked euro. You are bracing yourself for disappointment by telling yourself it's over, I think. Here, have some monkfish. I will hair stroke with nice fishy hands.

I have severely woken up on the wrong side of the bed with HWCA this morning. I am being completely unreasonable, but I am angry that the last time I was even in with a chance of getting diffed was NOVEMBER.

JethroTull · 08/02/2013 11:17

euro I swung between knowing I was absolutely not pregnant and having little flashes of hope. You cannot know this early. It's so hard but you just have to wait.

Don't even look at my kidneys, I can't handle the pressure :( I'm sure it's just a blip, and I'm menkulling enough... I also feel dead tired - which combined with the strange temp makes me assume I'm coming down with a cold or something - it's far more likely than diffage.

Also, I have been picked from the ballot to do Ride100 this summer, but HOTB has not. I really don't want to do it without him though, and the thought of riding 100 miles makes me want to cry - which is surely an imminent-droid sign.

:) thanks, moll maybe I should watch a nice mindless gratuitously violent action film this evening, that's bound to help.

FriendofDorothy · 08/02/2013 13:34

Ooooo I had forgotten that my temps dipped then went up... here is a link Draf if you want to menkul over it.

Hi all.

draf I totally agree - IMO it ain't over til the metal arse face arrives. I was adamant I was 'just very tired' and had PMS, just thought it was a particularly bad cycle when I was actually diffed. I too swung between feeling disheartened because not only was I not diffed but we'd decided to stop TTC(!) and having a funny, tiny niggle that I couldn't shift that just might be!

Sympathies TWink. It takes its toll :(

maamalady · 08/02/2013 14:15

I don't POAS until droid is a week late, bugs. Ask me again next weekend! (there will be no need, droid will have arrived by then I'm sure)

Droid has been approx six days late twice - its arrival is infinitely preferable to a BFN. It's not so much steel will as being too cowardly to face a single line.

DolomitesDonkey · 08/02/2013 14:43

Actually, just to fuel the menkul - we did have a BESH who went along for a miscarriage de-brief at 8 weeks... only to discover she was in fact 12 weeks with a healthy foetus!

Bugs I'm afraid I have no idea. When I tried Letrozole, I oved at day 20 on the first cycle and day 12 on the next (higher dose)! I always feel ov and I temp, so I don't take much notice of any other signs.

draf I completely understand. I'm not a tester (usually) either. I've used about 10 tests in over 2 years of ttc, and most of those were on one cycle when I tested every day from a few dpo because I was getting a few days of symptoms almost every cycle and wanted to try to figure out what was going on. The others went on occasions when I wanted to get trollied at a wedding reception or something just when my period was due, and so tested to give myself permission. I also prefer Droid to an(other) arctic stick.

Northey · 08/02/2013 15:24
Northey · 08/02/2013 15:25

Also, I have 12 good follicles, and a lovely womb lining (apparently). Should be ready for egg collection at some point Wed-Fri.

I am seriously thinking about buying a horse. I appreciate this may be displacement madnes.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 08/02/2013 15:39

But well done on the lovely follies and lining norf. You're doing well.

Gentle menkul-fueling poke in draf's direction. Hold strong on the testing, I prefer droid too. I've done a grant total of 3 tests while TTC, 1 BFP, 1 delayed droid on hols, under duress, one to check whether I could get trollied over NYE. Which I did.

And listen here, children, I had NO symptoms when I was diffed (and had an absolutely outstanding first hcg-level). I got some and kept them until the embryo passed, even after it stopped growing 10 days before. So symptoms are useless wrt clues on diffage - stern look all round and sadly also useless as indication of whether or not a pregnancy is likely to continue

No idea bugs I never used clomid (and I never ovulate past day 14). I'd say sometime that weekend, and thus you are at least 11dpo now.

EuroShagmore · 08/02/2013 15:40

norfy! Nice follicles.

In the run up to EC we almost bought a kitten. Post ET, we are thinking about buying some really big guns. Tis quite fitting given the current feme.

lovesLemonDrizzleCake · 08/02/2013 15:45

A kitten with huge guns sounds like an amazing superhero :)

Northey · 08/02/2013 15:56

Now that is an action film I would totally watch!
