Put on your vest/shades and grab your weapons, it's Action Hero Time.

The BESH are experts in all matters action, but specialise in taking out the local droids and sometimes Druids Wink

Cover me, I'm going in!

Mmmm curry. I am having pizza.

Tell us about the allergy thing then, rierie. What are they testing you for? Just allergies, or allergies with a helpful TTC slant?

ArielThePiraticalMermaid · 07/02/2013 19:24

Oh God it's tedious. You know the FC sent me away the other week and told me to get a referral to an allergy clinic before they would continue with IUI? Yes, after a year of waiting...wankers. Well they rushed me through and I saw the guy today. Had to drive two hours, but still. Not allergic to peanuts, so that means they can safely put peanut butter up the foof during AC Hmm. Not allergic to hormones during the luteal phase which can happen apparently. Had blood taken so it can be sent off to be tested for a million things. I then have to go back in a month for the follow up. He is also going to phone the FC to ask what on earth they were playing at.

So I guess that's encouraging.

Northey · 07/02/2013 19:30

Hahahahaha at peanut butter up the foof. We should work that into the beshtionnaire.

What a fab man to get on the FC's case.

captainmoll · 07/02/2013 19:33

Rie that sounds inexpressibly irritating. Lets nuke them immediately. Now where did I put that warhead I just rescued from the evil genius lair?

Still no word at all on any of the tests we're waiting for. Grrr. I will be phoning people up tomorrow and getting ranty. And aiming bazookas at administrative staff.

Here's a question. If one of the reasons for infertility is the lady's fanny being too acidic and killing the spermies, WHY has no one tested the acidity of my foof? Surely a bit of litmus paper is pretty much the cheapest, simplest thing to stick up there and just strike that one off the list of causes straight away? (Obvs involves timing test for around OV time when the acid level is supposed to change, but still - simple, right?)

Have any of you had this tested? How long did they take to do that?

Big fx for sticky beans all round for the stabbers!

Rie that's just shite Shock, though you should have insisted on coming to Cambridge yourself for the tests - I could have taken you out for lunch Grin

I have only just got home from a meeting Angry I am therefore eating a true action hero's dinner of Cup of Soup and a Terry's Chocolate Orange Blush

How's the shock Bugs?

I'm hoping and praying you are exactly where lazy is in 36 weeks' time...just think, your situations are very similar and she now has her baybee :) We're all here to hand hold in the mean time.

Good to have the summary earlier - I find it hard to keep up! How is sinky? You lurking?

Hoping it's third time lucky for you Bugs

DolomitesDonkey · 07/02/2013 22:27

So thrilled for you bugs Grin !

If I were a bread-basted spread suitable for foofs I'd be nutella.

Northey · 07/02/2013 22:42

Ooh er, donkey.

I'd be extra tart blackcurrant.

Northey · 07/02/2013 22:43

I'm struggling to think of many action heroes who hold hands in a circle

maamalady · 07/02/2013 22:46

They might if they were trying to look big to fend off sharks, norf?

I'd be jam, I think. Raspberry or blackcurrant, cos I love both. Although if you caught me in the right mood I could also be marmite or honey.

DolomitesDonkey · 07/02/2013 22:47

Nutella? That makes me sound like I'm a cock-smuggler.

blonderedhead · 07/02/2013 23:20

Just saw - what wonderful news. The nipple tassels are getting a good workout! Everything is crossed for you Bugs

Jeff that is a brilliant text - sums it all up perfectly.

Looking forward to further instalments of the clusterdiff!

It's all consuming isn't it Bugs? I imagined I would be elated but I'm worrying more than ever.

Okay, now I'm confused. Temp was on a gentle downward curve, but today (CD28) it has shot up. I have no clue what's going on. Maybe I'm coming down with something Confused

JethroTull · 08/02/2013 08:41

That's the problem with trying to conceive - you don't have the luxury of just realising your diffed at 8 weeks.

JethroTull · 08/02/2013 08:42

Draf I don't know much about temping. Does temp spike & fall before droid or fall slowly?

FrankellyMyDearIDontGiveADamn · 08/02/2013 08:43

I maintain, when the next round of evolution happens, I'm expecting an update that turns a woman's pee a bright shade of purple within 24 hours of getting diffed! Life would be so much simpler!
