Been feeling a bit mental about it all & worried that it might not stick but POAS again last night & got an immediate line. So feeling a bit calmer.

My thinking is:

If it's pos on Sunday - great
If it's neg on Sunday - we can console one another
If it's neg on Sunday but pos at blood test - it will be a very unexpected nice surprise

Basically, we want to avoid the situation where we don't test at home and I have to get the bad news while he is 300 miles away. There doesn't seem to be a downside to our plan (unless it is a chem preg, I guess, so I get a positive on Sunday and a negative on the blood test, but I'm going to try not to think about that).

It was bizarre this morning - it was my first ever pish stick with a second line. And I needed it to be negative!

Euro will Sunday be 11day post EC or post ET? Did you have 2 or 3 day transfer? Sorry can't read back very well on my phone. I have everything crossed for you.

I get an early scan at our clinic in just over a couple of weeks so not long to wait. If that is good then I'm hoping I might feel a bit better and be able to sleep

I got a text from a wise old ESH last night....

When you go to the scan & there is something there you will immediately start shitting yourself that it will have no arms or no head. And wehn it doesn't you will immediatley start shitting yourself that it will have A Syndrome or A Dodgy Heart. And when it doesn't you will immediately start shitting yourself that you or the baby or both will die in labour. And when you don't... you will immediately start shitting yourself that you have to keep the bllody thing for the REST OF YOUR LIFE. It doesn't stop.

I'm off for a blood test on Monday to confirm ov (though temps are pretty conclusive!) then it's test on 20th if no droid. Based on the last druck-induced cycle, droid will actually be due on 15th/16th so I may be naughty and test a bit earlier than they said.

I have just got in from my allergy clinic. Have been pricked and prodded and had about 3 litres of blood drawn which will go off the Cambridge to test for my mysterious ailment.
