mother and gail i feel for both of you ((hugs)) I am of the stance that there is no right or wrong and everybody's situation is different and everybody has to make their own decisions as to what is best at the time.

gail i am Shock at the lapdancing! Not because I am Shock by actual lapdancing, just that that was not the picture i had of you in my head! Grin

gail of course not and tbh how you felt about it being a pest was close to how I felt, I freaked out big time, I felt like I had an alien invading my body and I wanted it out. To be fair it was my first relationship and the first time I ever had sex so understandable I guess, I only told 3 people and to this day my family dont know.

I don't regret it but I do wish I had looked at my baby on the scan before hand. I feel bad and will cherish every moment of my next pregnancy please please let me have a next pregnancy no matter what!

Its just awful to think I got rid of something I want so badly now. Sad

MotherOfCleo · 07/02/2013 19:24

p.s I shall be googling that Wink

captainmoll · 07/02/2013 19:25

LOL is literally a million times too ineffectual for the response I just had to that Gail.

captainmoll · 07/02/2013 19:28

Here's a question. If one of the reasons for infertility is the lady's fanny being too acidic and killing the spermies, WHY has no one tested the acidity of my foof? Surely a bit if litmus paper is pretty much the cheapest, simplest thing to stick up there and just strike that one of the list of causes straight away? (Obvs involves timing test for around OV time when the acid level is supposed to change, but still - simple, right?)

Bunnygirlie · 07/02/2013 19:34

Sidney Glad your appointment went well. My DH is stressing about TTC mainly but he is also a manager where we work so he has that added stress too! He just can't switch off, he was tossing and turning all night worrying so that kept me awake - I am hanging today!

I am tempted to go see the doctors, I have been off the pill a year now even though we haven't been trying a full year yet but I think I will ask for basic tests just to check things are ok!

Gail So glad to see you back! I cannot believe what a life you have led!

Just realised a few of our regular chums are AWOL Pip Twinkle where are you???

2cats222 · 07/02/2013 19:42

captain they do the litmus paper test with breeding dogs... Google it. I am certain you could use a canine test as dog breeder use human tests (of other kinds) on their dogs. It's so weird you mention it as I was literally thinking about this today
gail I am fucking crying with laughter, you have made my day

gail no luck with google [disappointed emoticon] Sad having said that whilst searching have come across some Hmm and funny results!! Oh and name snap

2cats222 · 07/02/2013 20:22

bunny worthwhile exaggerating how long you have been trying for perhaps?? I don't condone lying but when it's for a good purpose it surely can't be bad!

2cats222 · 07/02/2013 20:23

2cats222 · 07/02/2013 20:25

captain and womenshealth.about.com/od/vaginalhealth/a/vaginalphtestin.htm ...it seems we can start a whole new line of testing! anyone up for it??

2cats222 · 07/02/2013 20:39

oh, can the next thread be Elderberry Pavlovas and their melted wellies?

What does the pre-op for the lap and dye entail? I think it would be preferable for them to find your missing rabbit that a sausage phallus tbh

What did Mr Platt say/do when you said you were leaving for the weekend? I am so glad it's not just me who has an OH with what seems like a dwindling libido... he is 10 years older but it makes me feel SO CRAP when he doesn't want sex at every opportunity

mother positive thoughts... it will happen x Although I am starting to fear being the only Elderberry left on here when you all graduate... you must promise to continue to keep me company if that happens as i don't want to have to join another thread

2cats222 · 07/02/2013 20:40

ha ha ha ha ha beat THAT 6 (soon to be 7) posts in a row. I will now leave you in peace as off out

janey1234 · 07/02/2013 20:51

2cats - I will be here stalking until you've ALL 'graduated'. No fear of being left alone with me around. You're more likely to have to take out a mumsnet restraining order Sad

Gail - thank fuck you're back. Hilarious. Missed you, too. And PLEASE send us all DVD's of your show. You must have a copy somewhere for and ageing old woman who never leaves the house these days . Oh, and if I win the lottery I promise I will buy you IVF. You have it in writing. Envy

janey1234 · 07/02/2013 20:53

Oh shitting Ada. By 'missed you, too' I meant that I missed you, as well as finding you hilarious. Not like you said you'd missed me, and I I said miss you too.

Feeling bit bonkers now.

Who made the programme do you know? Let me know and will see what I can find... I love a challenge...

And yes, I'm fucking ancient too. No use to you at all. Happy to wang a nubile young thing around the head with a large saussisson for you - we can sneak her off to a private clinic somewhere and nick some eggs whilst she's unconscious.

You prompted something I was thinking about the other day... Is it possible to combine donating eggs with freezing some for personal use??
