hellooo ovulation where are you??????? are u there??

ok so i have only been trying for 1 month but had my contraception removed 2 months ago and had my period over xmas it started on 23rd ... i have done the ovulation calculator online 3 of them and it says i should ov on the 3rd... however i have been ov testing since the 1st keeno i know but the stick still says i am not ovulating (and the stick knows best )

is this normal ?

It depends on the type of contraception but it can take a few cycles for everything to start working normally again.

Also, if you don't know when you ov, it could be that you ov later on in your cycle. The ov calendar is usually based on women ovulating on day 14 of their cycle, but this isn't true of all women and differs from person to person.

I'd keep testing if I were you and don't worry too much if you don't appear to ov this month. It may just take a while for your body to readjust.

Hi, hope you dont mind me posting but I read a post on a different site about how to tell when you are fertile and I found it very helpful! it is by a natural fertility expert but basically explains the bodies stages and signs leading up to and during ovulation, it may be worth a read?
